In some respects, I don't like this photo. There is nothing spontaneous about it. She saw me with the camera and would have held that pose for as long as I was there. It's all so posed. The road to Edinburgh castle is long, steep and narrows as it enters the grounds of the castle at the top of the Royal Mile. Two tourists, an elderly couple, had stopped before the castle entrance. They didn't move or talk, but just held on looking up to the castle.

There was a band playing on the street. I thought they were awful, but hovering around them was
this man playing the harmonica. I had photographed him last year in the same place. He didn't look so good then.
He wasn't part of the band, but had decided that his harmonica playing was unlikely to make the band sound
