Today was quite eventful. I got a call about 2:30 or so, and it was my mother in law, hysterical and I couldn't understand what she was saying, when she finally choked it out, she said my house just burned down. And boy it sure as hell did. We went out there to be with her and to see the damage. The firefighters were still there putting out whatever was left of embers. It was a wreck. There is only a single half standing wall left of her home. Thank goodness she was not in the home when it happened, and that she wasn't near it either. Can't say much for her beloved Sadie, one of her three basset hounds. She didn't make it out at all. The firefighters gave her a proper burial after finding her. She was only a couple short days away from sealing the deal on the sale, I don't know what will come of that, I mean the people only wanted the property, but hopefully they will still go with the deal. She is full insured so that was a huge lucky break, but still I can't even fathom, her wh

That's what our car looks like, not quite as new looking as that one of course, but we got wheels. It was a cheap car that will get us from point A to point B, without breaking down. The other car will go to a car dealership who will see if he wants to take the money to fix it then sell it again. That's about it really, I mean where the hell is everyone. Do I need to pass out caffeinated beverages, or hypnotize you all into blogging? Or is just me..? I think I have had far too many caffeinated drinks today... 0_o

..that would be me. I got lost [I]again[/I] today. This time it was me and the rugrats driving the the MIL's house to see if we could help with anything more. G was at home sleeping, having stayed up all night. Anyhoo, the only exit I knew to take was blocked because of road construction. So I take the next exit thinking, ok I think I can find my way, as the next exit was less then a mile away form the previous one. Me thinking I knew the back roads good enough to find where I was going, I just started driving. I ended up driving for maybe 45 minutes around country roads and just plain got lost. I seen a mailady, and stopped near her to ask her how to get back where I wanted to go. Apparently I was faaaaaaar off. So I turn back, eventually find the freeway and go on about my lovely way, taking the scenic route, going 30 minutes out of the way to get back to familiar territory, and I didn't make it. Crazy people & a power outage

Well this evening has been eventful. First there was a really wacked out set of parents of the lady across the way, who took it upon themselves to storm in there daughters house and just start swinging, apparently this is not the first time. They got away of course. Weird thing is though, the guy I seen in the car as it was speeding off, was the same guy I got a creepy feelin' from the other night as I was walking bella outside. I seen him out there standing in the dim light, and then looked again and he was gone. Just after that happened, the power
went out. Apparently there was a power pole that caught fire somewhere near by, and put more then a few blocks in a blackout for an hour or so. That was interesting to say the least. I need to make a memo to stock up on flashlights and candles, because it was really dark in here..lol. Anyhoo that's about it for now. I am really enjoying this design. I am making teensy tweaks to it,hope Peggy doesn't mind.. :)

This is the best mixed media piece I feel I have ever made. :DMattman has finally said it. I knew it would come sooner or later. He has said I hate you mommy. I don't like you. I knew it was coming, but still, I don't like them words comin' out of his mouth. But of course, I responded with, you don't have to like me, that's ok, and I told him I loved him, and of course he said he loved me back. lol. I imagine that won't be the first time he will say that, as I am hard on them now as it is. I let them be kids, but I am still their main disciplinarian, so I got to do the part ya know. Credit to Cyn for the title..Today I had another event. My neighbors bike got stolen, these are my direct neighbors, and their two kids use that bike all the time. Anyhoo, long story short, I believe it was the bunch of 8-10 year old kids who stole it. Them lil buggers! I told the one boy who came back to get his bike, to tell his friends they had better bring the bike back, as it wasn't cool at all to steal a bike. Of course four hours later, the slot is still empty in the bike rack. The neighbors are still gone too, but I wrote them a note and put it on their door for when they get home, as they are good peoples and deserve as much. Just a bit ago, the other set of kids, decided they wanted to "borrow" another neighbors bike, and ride it all around, and then put it back like nothing happened. While the parents obviously noticed it was not their bike, and their kid was riding it around. What kind of parent does that? I sure as hell wouldn't, I do not let my kiddos use anything of an

Today I didn't procrastinate one bit, sad to say...lolThe critters and I packed up the big red wagon, and hauled off to the playground. 2 kids and 2 bags in the wagon and Mattman walkin along side me, all 10 blocks. They were great sports about it, considering we were off to the playground. We ended up staying there for at least 3 hours, it was fun and pur energy release.We got home rested for about a half hour, then went out again to walk the 3 blocks to the gas station so I could lube up on pepsi, came home, and they played outside for another 2 hours with the little friends, and then we came in for the night. When dinner was all said and done, I got another spurge of energy, and decided to rearrange the big closet under the stairs we have, and that took me until just now to get finished and cleaning up the whole living room. My kitchen looks like a friggin tornado went through it, but that'll get done in the mornin'. I tell you what though, all that work, I bet I burned a gazilli

This last Saturday me and the fam went bowling. I ended up being one of the higher scorers, with a high of 180 at my second game. I won G two out of three games too, so I was super happy about that, I never win over him.180 is a new goal for me to beat as well, my last highest ranking score was somewhere around 150 or something, but in that particular game I had pulled a quad strike order, and that really brought my score up.The ants are back again too. The terminix guy sprayed the other day outside all around the foundation, and where did they go? Inside. Sure a couple died when he sprayed, but it was like world war three on my computer desk all day yesterday. I had a pop can sitting on my tv shelf for an hour or so then all of a sudden it was covered in ants, it was nuts. So now I got to get ahold of the landlord again, tell him that guy needs to spray inside this time. My Practice with touchups

The following I finally go around to uploading today, there are about a week old, and really all I wanted to do with both of these, is touch them up. I think I did a decent job. I think I will do a couple more touchup practices before I move onto something else. I have really been getting in an artsy rut these days. I can only do so much with what I got, it's time to teach myself more in the same program. So that's what I am gunna do. This was already a beautiful photo, I think I brought it out that much more.This was actually a request from a stocker who wanted me to see what I could do with it.Well that's about it folks. Finally after some wasted time driving out to get Nemo, and him being too scared to go at the time, so the owner having to drive out here instead to drop him off. He is here. =D He has already let Bella know, he won't put up with her hyperness, as Bella hasn't ever had a friend to play with. It won't be long before they are buds I am sure. They are just both damn good pets, to not be friends. I will try to get pics up as soon as I can pick him up to aim him at the webcam..LOLHe ended up being bigger then what the picture had looked. He has longer hair, and is damn near as soft as silk. Just so happens he looks just like Charlie, Kings cat. Except I think he's a little bigger. Anyhoo that's about it for now. G is obsessing about gettin a cat, he is a cat guy, and my little Bella just ain't cuttin it out for a pet for him at least.. He loves cats, has had several of them, and now we are looking for more. Just to shut him up I finally agreed with him. Besides the fact, that I wouldn't mind having one either. We found a perfect white haired blue eyed kitty on craigs list, but when we called, he was already gone. Never fear though, I found another one, this one more suitable to us, He looks just like his mom's cat named Chappy. Short story on Chappy here.. When the house burned down, he barely escaped or something, because he has barely any hair on his back and his whiskers are little nubs now. He is healthy though, just a little bald, so his name suits him even better now. Anyways you can see the cat we are wanting now here , I emailed the couple, and I am hoping to hear from them soon. This adorable 6 year old little girl, keeps doing little knockins at my door. She is my kiddo's friends, a child who visits the neighbors occasionally with her parents. She is very stubborn, but the sweetest most loving little critter. She is a gentle soul. Which makes it very hard to explain to her, no you can't come in. No we are busy making diiner right now, I hate to have to stand here holding my dog back from running outside so you can stand there and keep asking me if you can come in. LOL Kids are funny like that, they don't understand things like that. I mean I don't even know but her dad a teensy bit, I sure as heck wouldn't want my kids in her house, if I only knew the parents a little bit ya know. Meh that's about it for today, maybe more later..
Hopping on the ramble train

So I have nothing of absolute importance to blog about, but I have some time I want to kill before doing some other things, so I figured I would just update here in rambles, for my own sake. :pThe last two days we have fought of three swarms of ants. We told the landlord the other day and let him know they need to spray inside. So maybe monday they will come and get 'er done, I'm hoping anyways. The swarms were in the upstairs bathroom. This is all new to me, I thought ants only like sugar and sweet things. But these ants are weird. The first two marching lines, were from our shower faucets, up to the ceilings, around the corner over the sink then across the ceilings to our light in there. The third swarm was just all along one wall and around the light again. I of course having no bug spray at the time, decided, I would use glass cleaner, and spray the bitches instead of trying to chase them all down and squish 'em. Took me an hour to get the first swarm, about a half hour to get t
