Fluffy stick hunting 2007-03-11 20:43:15 There was a strange noise coming from the linen cupboard down the hall (which is more a puter junk cupboard) Much rustling, meowing and pigeon noises (Calais’s “I’m extra frisky voice”)
I go down to see what he is up to, to find him digging around in all the cords etc.

Karate grading 2007-03-11 12:32:01 Hayden and Emily had their first grading
at Karate
today. They passed (though I think it is near impossible to fail for yellow ) They had a great day, and I think they enjoyed seeing more of what Karate is all about.
Jaffa meezer 2007-04-16 10:37:21 A rare sight, seeing someone in the tunnel in daylight hours. Zipping in and out the tunnel is usually reserved for about 45min past Mum’s bed time. You run down the hall, under the bed, up the tunnel and jump on Mums head..giggle to yourself and start all over again.

Ripping off the Tooth Fairy 2007-04-25 04:17:27 Hayden has done a good job of ripping off the tooth fairy. He has lost 3 teeth this week. He had 2 loose that we knew of and when he lost the first one, he asked if he could triple his money if he pulled the other one out..and he did :O He lost the 3rd one 3 days later unexpectedly. Hope he doesn’t go pulling any more out for money

Everyone always loves our snuggle pictures. Doesn’t everyone snuggle as much as us? We spend 22 hours a day snuggling, so we are pretty good at it.

I had a great day, Jake and I had a kids free evening and went to the Pink concert on Sunday night as a Birthday(his)/Mother’s Day present. It was FANTASTIC!! We were amazingly close, in the front row at the stage. It was such a great show, I’m hoping to get tickets so we can go again.
On special request, my mother asked for cupcakes and Lemon meringue pie to go with her (very ugly, that she picked) slippers (why, I have no idea..I can’t cook to save myself) But, not to disappoint..cupcakes and pie is what she got

Da Bird 2007-05-20 09:15:42 We were so excited! Mum got us a new Da Bird! We haven’t had one for years, we broke our last one and because of customs issues with feathers, we haven’t been able to have a new one It was our most favourite toy, much better than the fluffy stick. Mum found us one on eBay.
(it may look like we were so excited, we lost our heads…but that’s just Dad’s wonderful photography skills, he says it’s extra artistic that way )
Our fun was cut short, when Alex got a little rough and broke it. So we hope Dads fixing skills are better than his photography.

, my Mum’s new dog. He was found wandering the streets by friends of hers, and after they did all the right things to find his home without much luck, Mum decided she would adopt him.
He gets on well with Mum’s cat Fluffy, but her 16yr old Burmese is not so keen on the barking, licking fluff ball.

A fascinating insight in the the daily goings on of Mr Lee, where he goes, and who he meets a long the way. ( I wonder if you could get hidden versions for children :lol:)
The meezers are strictly indoor only, so I think we would only end up with shots of them in a meezer huddle on various beds through out the day. But I would have loved to have know the goings on the other night, in the lead up to me coming home to find them playing with a MOUSE :O *shudder* I have never seen a mouse in the mouse..ever (well, we used to have pet mice and rats, but they are different) I don’t think they have ever seen a mouse, that wasn’t plastic dressed in rabbits clothing and they were not overly sure what to do with it ewwwwwwwwwwwww
Build your own cat furniture 2007-06-06 07:48:42 I LOVE Ikea, they have soo many nifty things and they are so cheap too. They even have cat furniture…well sort off.
Ikea Hacker has some great ideas for using basic ikea items, and turning them into some funky cat furniture. Cat beds, gyms, shelves and hidey spots. I like the shelves ideas, I’d be worried about being stalked from above though LOL.
We have tried making out own scratching posts in the past, without much luck. Anyone else got some handy home made cat furniture ideas? Read more:Build

Emily’s Birthday 2007-06-10 06:19:52 Emily turned 7 last Saturday..how time flies. Some stupid person agreed to having a birthday party, with many screaming girls and a jumping castle
Never, ever again will we have a party at home, and we didn’t even have it at our home, we stole the inlaws back yard. The party itself wasn’t so bad…but the planning and the cost
Since when did birthday parties get so complicated? Trying to cater for all the different needs was a nightmare, some couldn’t eat, some cheese, or gelatine, artificial colours and flavours and nuts…it doesn’t leave very much to serve! I suck at cooking as it is.
Our 3 4 kids had fun, Jake spent quite a lot of time in the jumping castle…just supervising apparently

meezer monday 2007-06-11 05:30:36 Oh look, for something different, we’re snuggling . It isn’t possible these days to sleep by ourselves, you have to be conjoined with at least one other meezer and or human.
Mum especially hates it when at night, we sleep in a tangled meezer pile right in the middle of the bed. She complains we steal all the blankets and make it hard to get comfortable…she needs to tell someone who cares, we are comfty, that’s all that matters

Trip to Newcastle- Pasha Bulker 2007-06-17 04:55:20 The weather in Sydney has been pretty nasty the last week, near constant rain. The kids were going stir crazy so Jake decided last night lets go for a trip to Newcastle
to see the Pasha Bulker, a coal tanker which was beached in wild weather last week and stop in to visit his sister.
There has been a lot of media coverage on the ship, it isn’t ever day you see a dirty great big ship perched on a beach. I’d like to know how the hell he got there, someone was taking a nap when they shouldn’t have! It will be interesting to see if and how they can move it, hopefully without too much impact on the environment.
Even though we had seen lots of pictures in the media, the shear size and how close it is to the beach was amazing. And the people, OMG, I think half of NSW was there LOL.
It rained the whole 2hr trip there, but thankfully the sun came out for the time we were there.
