Drawing practice featuring Earl 2007-03-11 04:21:26 The youtube video of speed painting John Locke made me want to try some different stuff. So I did a rough sketch of Earl
from My Name is Earl. Read more:featuring
A few youtube links 2007-03-11 00:59:16 Today I have a few youtube links
. Two impressive ones and one that may break your brain.
Geek Movies Get No DVD Love. 2007-03-10 03:07:52 RevolutionSF has a very cool article up about Geek
movies that aren’t on DVD but should be. Check it out here.
Some surprises there. I thought a few of ‘em were on DVD, and not just the cheap ass bin at Wal-Mart.
175 days to Dragon*Con 2007-03-09 02:45:50 I was just looking at the Dragon
*Con site. A few guests are already listed, and a couple caught my eye.
Wikipedia Fluffers Needed. 2007-03-06 06:29:07 I don’t know why, but I found this to be very funny. Here’s a pic I capped from the bottom of a Wikipedia
page.
Faster Mario, Kill kill kill… 2007-03-05 23:54:35 Gameinfowire.com recently posted an article about the connections between video games and real world violence. Pretty interesting in a “well Duuuuuh” kinda way. You can view the article here. Read more:Mario

Just use your reimagination. 2007-03-13 06:40:51 411mania.com said this about the new Star Trek movie.
Why does that scare me so?
The short answer would be Enterprise.
Now for the long answer.
RSS Feed Updates 2007-03-12 11:57:22 FanaticSpace’s RSS feeds are now being handled by FeedBurner. I decided to let them handle it because it’s free and they know what they’re doing. As a little bonus, one of their features is an animated headline image. It’s a .gif file that displays the headlines of the last 5 blog posts. Pretty cool. I’m using [...] Read more:RSS Feed

Wapsi Square 2007-03-13 09:17:49 Wapsi Square
Awesome comic. Hot women, ancient guardian beast, and an Aztec deity combined with art and writing sharp enough to pull it off.
Submit your links. 2007-03-14 15:02:00 I’m going to start taking link submissions. Anyone can suggest a site. Here are a few points about how I’m doing this.
Use the contact form to submit a link. Fill in the forms and in the dropdown box asking for the contact reason select “Submit
a link”. It’s that simple.
It will not be automated, I will choose [...] Read more:links
Contact form added. 2007-03-14 14:57:22 I’ve added a contact form to the site. You can use the “Contact Us” button in the navigation bar to the left to get to it. Just another way to make it easy for you to get in touch with us.
This movie looks fantastic. 2007-03-16 11:54:18 The Host
I’m gonna have to keep an eye out for this one. It looks like something I’d love.

Does GimpShop deliver? 2007-03-18 09:06:43 I’ve been looking at a few free graphics editing programs lately. While looking over some listings at freeware sites I stumbled upon GimpShop.
ArtRage, furiously fun 2007-03-21 02:45:54 I found ArtRage while looking for free/cheap graphics software. Is sounded great, and the screenshots looked pretty simple. I downloaded the free version to try it out. Less than a week later I bought the full version, and here’s why.
AlleyCast 2007-03-21 14:54:34 AlleyCast
A Harry Potter fan podcast from members of Knockturn Ally. They cover such things as Wizard Rock, FanFiction, FanArt, RolePlaying (of an HP variety of course), Phoenix Rising, and Prophecy 2007. They also talk about the books and movies from an adult perspective. That usually means perving over Alan Rickman or “Remus” of Remus and [...]
Webcomic article on Time.com 2007-03-23 16:15:23 Time recently posted an article about webcomics. Some big names were mentioned, and a few were quoted.
Something about the piece bugs me, but I can’t quite figure out what it is.
Check out the article.
The Zombie Hunters site is down 2007-03-25 05:08:46 I went to read The Zombie Hunters
and found something a lot more frightening than the walking dead.
It was gone.

Welcome back Commander 2007-04-02 13:41:57 I got Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars installed. Here is my 3 word review.
Motherfrakin’ Awesome Shiny.
If that doesn’t make sense to you, you’ve missed some great TV and I pity you.
I might talk about later in more detail. Right now I have to wipe out the Brotherhood of Nod. Read more:Welcome

Candystand 2007-04-11 05:58:45 Candystand
A site with some great free flash games. The whole site is one big ad for candy and junkfood, but that can be forgiven after you play a few of the games. I have a link to the 8 Ball Pool game on my desktop because I play it so much.
My thoughts on Command and Conquer 3 2007-04-13 13:18:38 I just finished the last campaign in Command and Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars. I think I’m ready to talk a bit about the single player mode. Don’t hold your breath for an article on the multi player mode, I’m not really into that side of the games. Read more:thoughts
Guild Wars and loot scaling. Has the balance been tipped? 2007-05-02 01:01:47 This post may seem a bit late, and it is. I’ve held off on it to play the game a bit so I can give an honest opinion.
Guild
Wars has updated the loot drop system. Fewer “common” items drop if your party is smaller. Solo and small party farming is much different now. Sounds bad, [...]
