More jackets please 2007-03-24 07:26:00 Besides being obsessed with dresses (that's never going to change, I don't think), I'm also going through a jacket phase. That's one thing that I cannot seem to have enough 'cause I'm always whining "I have no jacket to go with this outfit" and my guy would be like "what are you talking about? You have oodles. Just pick one." And I'd be like "ya but none of them go with what I'm wearing". (Ok ok, I lie. We can never have enough of everything...tops, dresses, skirts, jeans, not just jackets, lol). I think spring (and fall) is really the best time to wear some cute jackets and blazers. In the winter you have to wear heavy winter coats, and no matter how stylish they are, they just can't compare with the light jackets that we can wear now. I know I get bored at work ;). So ladies, do you change your skincare routine now that a new season's upon us? I feel besides using an antioxident-rich moisturizer, it's absolutely imperative to exfoliate and wear sunscreens. I don't believe in scrubs. I use alpha hydroxy acid and Beta Hydroxy acid at nighttime. Scrubs tear at your skin, and they don't work continously and gently like the acids. And beta hydroxy acid can get into the pores to get rid of the blackheads. Physical scrubbing just can't accomplish that. Even though the immediate effect feels pretty good afterwards, but it's only temporary. I'm using Paula's Choice Clearly Remarkable Skin Lightening Gel $14.95 right now. I should try this 2007-04-01 18:55:00 3-Tiered Mesh Lace Skirt $35. This is not a strangely cut skirt, it's just pinned up at the side. My fashionistas, I bet you knew immediately as you saw it. It took me a second to realize that when I saw another photo of it being worn normally. I thought "What a cool and flirty way to wear a layered skirt. How come I never thought of it?" It adds volume, making a full skirt fuller and giving you extra curves. I'm going to try this with my layered skirts.

(SKII Facial Treatment Mask $78.00, my dream mask)Girls spend a fortune on those technologically advanced masks. My cousin uses masks every other day. I don't have her discipline. I was watching a Chinese beauty show the other day and the celebs on the show were talking about their beauty tips. I learned this great tip -- Soak your cotton pads with the toner and put them on your face, and voila, you got your own mask. Go with a toner that is free of alcohol and anti-oxidants rich and drench your skin with it. That's a much more effective way to retain moisture and the ingredients than just swipe your face with a cotton pad with the toner for 5 seconds. I use Biotherm Biosource Softening Lotion - Alcohol-Free $16. I don't do the whole face, just on my eyes and cheeks 'cause they are a little drier. Afterwards my face feels really supple and the moisturizer gets obsorbed much better too.
