05FY08: Roth Ira Update 2008-05-31 17:00:00 My IRA performed extremely well in the past two months against the S&P 500.While for the month of April, the S&P running at 4.75%, my IRA performed at 13.70%. 05FY08: Month End Contributions 2008-05-31 16:47:00 My May contributions for the brokerage account totaled $386.22 which is less than what I was expecting. I am going to close some dead bank accounts that I have floating around including one at Christian Community Credit Union. 05FY08: May Update 2008-05-27 10:27:00 Here is an update on how I am going to achieve my goals of having $1MIL saved by the time I am 50 years old.I am currently 26 so I have 24 years to just let the interest compound and re-invest. 06FY08: Bought some Financials 2008-06-12 12:33:00 The stock market has been getting a beating these past couple of weeks that i am still running in the RED. My Entire portfolio is down about 6%. I know that it will come back and i am buying as much as i can right now.Today I bought 2 more shares of XLF @ 23.00.I now own 11 shares of XLF at average of $24.71.This bad boy also pays 3.70% yearly dividend so i am not worried that it will come back,
