Create A Google Sitemap 2007-04-10 03:24:00 Creating a site map for your web site is one of the most important things you can do to get deep linked by the search engines. Sometimes a web site has so many links within itself that may go 4 and 5 tiers deep that the SE's have a difficult time finding all of them. That is where a well put together sitemap comes in.When it comes to creating a Google
sitemap, they insist on XML files that can take tremendous time to create if you have a large web site. The bigger it gets, the more time consuming it becomes. If you hop over to XML Stemaps, you can make the creation quick and easy. It's as easy as plugging in your URL and letting the primo software do it's stuff. As I've said before, worth a bookmark. Here's to your success!Tony Read more:Sitemap

Cell Phones With Driving Outlawed in Washington 2007-04-12 15:59:00 On Wednesday, the Washington
state House passed a law by a 59-38 vote stating that residents are no longer allowed to use hand-held cell phones while driving. In an emergency situation, the enforcement of the new law may be waved. If caught on your cell phone while you are driving, you'll reap yourself a $101 fine. Read more about Washington's cell phone law here.I think it is very unsafe to talk while you are driving, unless you are on a bluetooth or other device that doesn't need to be held. There are a good many times that I've seen accidents or close calls caused by people talking on their phones as they speed along the roadways. I feel this is a good law and will more than likely save many a life. Here's to your safety!Tony Read more:Phones

Google Aquires DoubleClick 2007-04-16 08:39:00 For a whopping 3.1 million dollars, Google
has bought DoubleClick, the large provider of Internet ad software. AOL, Microsoft and Yahoo all have showed interest in the advertising giant, but MS seemed to lost interest once the price soared about 2 million. Many people are saying that Google got taken by paying such a huge sum of money, but I guess only time will tell whether it will work out to their benefit. I guess they're wanting to expand their forte to more than just search capabilities. You can read more about Google buying DoubleClick.....Here's to your success!Tony

Write to PRE-Sell and your visitors will love you! 2007-04-18 17:02:00 Writing copy to PRE-sell your product is important. People are looking for a solution to their problems. They are searching for information they can use. It's your job to provide that solution, in a friendly, comfortable "you" voice that is an authority on your subject.People do not want to be sold. If they smell a hard-sell, they'll hit the back button in a heartbeat. Your job is to gain their trust and respect. Giving them the rich, problem-resolving content they want will do that. It will also place them in an open-to-buy mindset a lot quicker than a hard-sell ever could. In order to write effective content that over-delivers, you need to try and forget everything you learned about writing in high school and college. You need to write at a grade 7 level that puts your visitor at ease, makes them comfortable and does not make you come off as an encyclopedia. It's a very different way of writing, but it works and, once you get the basics down, it's pretty easy. I learned what I nee Read more:Write
Grab The Perfect Template For Your Web Site 2007-04-20 18:50:00 If you're in the business of professional or freelance web design, you want to try to balance the time you invest in building a customer's web site with the quality produced. You want that polished look that is going to wow your client enough that they'll spread the word about you. You don't always want to start from scratch and build the whole thing from the bottom up. I know I don't. You can pass the savings of your time and work along to the customer. They'll love you for it. It's nice when you already have a framework to build upon. That is where the osCommerce Cafe comes in.Set up by Myles O'Reilly in March of 2006, this membership osCommerce template site is growing fast and gaining a lot of popularity. Based around the premise that web designers need access to quality templates at a price that is not going to wipe out their checking account, the company charges a membership fee of $89 for three months, rather than a large cost for each template. Three Diamonds in a Pile of Rocks 2007-04-19 17:43:00 In the short 2 years that I've been trying to make money online, I have come across and gone through some of the biggest losers out there today. So much garbage and so few real life winners.I blog to help. I know what it's like to get taken and feel ripped off. I've always been one to root for the underdog and come to the aid of people who are taken advantage of by other people. I was bullied as a kid and that is probably what made me so defensive of the oppressed. With some of the complete crap that is out there, I don't know how the people who push it can sleep at night. Mucho Love For Wireless? 2007-04-25 23:24:00 Being an avid first-person gamer, I've never had a lot of love for wireless Internet connections. The reason being that there are so many things that can interfere with the connection, including bluetooths, cordless phones, and microwaves. You really need to know exactly what can cause a break in connection and how to avoid it. When it comes to gaming, a few second break in your wireless networking can result in death (well, the death of your character at least!). There's been more times that I can count, during an intense LAN party, when the local connection has gone bye-bye and so has my high score and team flag. If I could stay away from those problems, I'm sure a wi-fi connection would be top of my list. Not only in a gaming scernario, but it can also result in a loss of security for your wireless connection, which is much more vital. Internet theft is a big thing and you do not need people tapping into your connection. The people at Cognio have designed a terrific spectrum analy Read more:Wireless

The Latest Information and Reviews on Electronics 2007-04-24 20:28:00 There is a new web site opening up in the spring of this year that I am really looking forward to. I have always been someone who loves high-tech gadgets, from cameras to computers and everything in between. Since the boom of e-commerce, I purchase a lot of merchandise over the Internet. The trouble being that there is such an enormous amount of computer electronics of there, it's really difficult to find just the thing you're looking for without going overboard, missing something important, or just getting low-quality goods. You need information from other consumers and professionals alike.Test Freaks is going to be my oasis in a sea of hardware. You can find reviews in various parts of the Internet universe, but getting quality ones from people who know what they're talking about gets a bit harder. Not to mention, you have to find them. Places like Consumer Reports costs you to get their expert opinions and reviews. Test Freaks will be offering reviews from professional sources, b
Using StumbleUpon PPC 2007-04-24 18:47:00 Yesterday, I discovered that StumbleUpon
has a paid sponsored option to push your website in front of other people with similar interests. I liked the way it was set up and it appeared that it may have some advantages over Google Adwords. I believe, in fact, it did.I set up a 2-day campaign where I put $25 into my account via PayPal, setting it up so that I received $14.50 worth of clicks at .05 cents per click each day. Once my $25 ran out, the campaign pauses until I added more cash. In one day, I received twice the visits to my site as I usually do. I'm going to continue testing, but right now, I like it a lot.Find out for yourself at http://www.stumbleupon.com/ads/I'd be interested to know what you think. Here's to your success!Tony

An Auction Site with a Unique Twist 2007-05-01 19:18:00 Okay, gang, here's a fun one for you. There's a new auction site where you can bid on some auctions for some really terrific products. Where typical auction sites like eBay have people constantly trying to out-bid and "snipe" to win,bid4prizes uses the unique twist in which the lowest bidder wins. How you prepare or stratigize for something like that, I do not know. The site is well laid out and clean. From what I've seen they have some great things up for auction. There is presently a Sony VAIO VGN-FE590 Notebook there that I'd really like to have for my business. It still has about 4 days remaining. This could prove to be interesting. You need to bid to win, but every time you do, the amount goes up and your goal is to be the lowest bid. As far as I can see, it all comes down to a matter of pure luck. I actually think that adds to the excitement.Hop over to bid4prizes and register for an account. This is going to be fun!Cya!Tony Read more:Auction
