More Making Money Online 2007-03-13 18:02:00 While perusing the Web this morning, I came across a great blog to further help you make money online. It's called DoshDosh and is definitely bookmark worthy.Covering important subjects such as blogging for money, making an income from purchasing domains, social networking, how to make money online and work from home and so much more, I'll be hitting this up on a daily basis. I think Google Reader is a nice spot to keep me updated via their RSS feed. Now, it may seem strange to review and promote a blog that is a direct competitor to mine, but I don't have that much of an ego to bruise and I figure that we're all in this together, attempting to make the almighty buck. There is certainly a lot of great info that I'll be gleaning from this blog. At the same time, I want to direct you to great resources and DoshDosh ranks up there with the best. You're sure to find a whole lotta learning here. I know that I will. Give Something Back 2007-03-13 17:03:00 Making a lot of money from your business is awesome. A better lifestyle tends to follow the increase in income. Nothing wrong with that at all. But, while you're pulling in the big bucks, it is equally important to give back. There is something wonderfully fulfilling in having the resources to help others that are less fortunate or in need. It's important for them and for you. There is a web site called "FirstGiving," that allows you to create your own fundraising page and promote it through your blogs, web sites, word of mouth, email or whatever. You can choose your charity or cause, create your page and start promoting. My particular page is for Children's Hospital of Seattle at http://www.firstgiving.com/childrenshospWhen he was younger, my son had an accident and broke his femur. Lucky thing because x-rays revealed a tumor. He had to have an operation and be in a cast that went from his waist clear down to his ankle. He was in bed for an entire year. He's just fine now. More Fun Stuff For Thursday: RC Cars 2007-03-15 16:31:00 I love watching RC cars and other remote control cars. They are so cool. I have a of couple friends from church who race them and enjoy taking their kids out to the parks to have some fun. These little things can really get some speed!Have you ever had any experience playing around with RC cars and trucks? It's a great hobby from what I understand while talking to my friends. I know that a gentleman named Lee Brain has created a nice, solid web site for the RC hobbiest at http://www.everything-rc-cars.comI took a look myself and this will keep you busy for quite some time. Covering RC Cars, RC Nitro Cars, RC Trucks, Electric RC Cars, Traxxas, HPI Racing and everything in between, the site offers reviews, comparisons, videos, pictures, FAQs, tips and hundreds of articles to help beginner RC enthusiasts get into the RC world. More Free Advertising For Your Blog or Web Site 2007-03-15 16:25:00 I already have discussed the ease and wisdom of using craigslist.org to generate traffic for your web site, blog, products, event or whatever. I found another for you.Over at http://epage.com, you can post classified ads for free, just as you would in the newspaper. They do have many paid options to get you in front of more eyes and display that ad prominently, but those are optional. Remember though, you get what you pay for and you need to spend a bit to make a bit. Nonetheless, it's a site worth a bookmark and something I believe that we will both use often. Here's to your success!Tony Read more:Advertising

Funny Stuff To Keep The Boredom Away 2007-03-15 16:17:00 It seems like Thursdays are typically slow. Nothing seems to happen, business-wise or money-wise. I'm not sure why that is, it just is. Oh, well. There are times that this happens when I just take a break and go through some of my sillier sites on the Web.A few of my favorites is Compused.com, Ebaum's World, Funny
Pop.com, which has some funny stuff, GKKO.com, and I love watching some of the goofier videos on YouTube and LiveVideo. As a businessman, sometimes checking out these things even stirs ideas. Of course, I'm always thinking in everything I do, "how can I use this to help my business." You'd be surprised at some of the things that have come to me.Anyway, I don't know if Thursdays are the same for you, but you may want to check out some of the goofy sites for a good giggle. Here's to your success!Tony Read more:Boredom
Free Fonts 2007-03-15 15:46:00 I love collecting cool fonts to use in my graphics. I very rarely will even attempt to use anything but the standards on a web site like Times New Roman, Arial and Verdana, simply because most people will not have the ones you are using and it will not look as you want to them. Also, those standards are the most easily read online and you want the site nice and legible. But, graphics, yup. I really like experimenting.Anyway, I discovered a great site for free fonts that you may want to take a look at and bookmark.Download Free Fonts

Credit: Use It Wisely 2007-03-15 06:40:00 When you've got a small business just started, I know how tempting it is to want everything for it now. Anxiety tends to set in when you're taking it slow. Money is always going to be the main thing that your thoughts are going to wrap around. If you don't have the cash flow on hand, you're only other alternatives are to wait or turn to credit.Credit cards can be a blessing or a curse, depending on how we use them. You want to make sure that they are used wisely and also that you're getting the best deal going on such things as balance transfers and 0% credit cards. One of the smartest things that you can do to start with is to look around and compare credit cards. Are you getting the best interest rate and are there any hidden fees? Things like that.Ending up in the red and deep in dept is never a good way to run a business. Watch your balance, don't over-extend yourself and try to pay over the minimum fee to avoid interest charges. I try to find credit cards with 0% interest fo
Another Indentity Theft Problem 2007-03-15 01:57:00 Man, bad guys never seem to run out of ways to harm people. The latest way of stealing your identity was reported on this afternoon's news.It seems that every larger scale copy machine has a buffer that runs into a sort of hard drive (I may not have the terms right, so bear with me). When a copy is made, the copier hold the memory of that data in a buffer. Anyway, thieves are breaking into these machines and getting the copy information off of them, looking for such things as social security numbers, driver's license numbers and other private information. The news warned to be wary of using places like Kinkos, Staples and other large copy businesses for any copies of very private information. You never know. I can imagine this will cut into their business unless they take some sort of measures to ensure their customer's safety. There's a lot of people out there who just have to ruin it for everyone. Pretty sad. Here's to your success!Tony Read more:Problem
Build Your Business Smarter 2007-03-14 20:51:00 With some work and know-how, anyone can build a web site that looks nice and can potentially outshine some of the top dogs out there. Be Open To Adsense Alternatives 2007-03-14 20:15:00 I found a great article on Google Adsense
alternatives that you may want to take a look at. I haven't experimented with any of them, but I'm sure I will soon. The reason that you may want to consider them as a possibility to add to your income is that you never know what wild hair someone at Google may get one day and you find yourself blocked. Believe me, I've heard horror stories. It does happen. You definitely do not want to be without a backup. Watching one source of revenue take a nosedive down to zero does not make for a good day. Since Google is now allowing other ads to be placed with their own, there is no reason not to at least take a think about some of the others.Always, always, always make sure you are working with several streams of income. Here's to your success!Tony Read more:Alternatives
Visual Communication - Step Up To A New Level 2007-03-14 20:10:00 I used to work a contract over at Boeing and have attended a number of their meetings. Believe me when I say, it could put a lion comatose. It was primarily death by view foil. Nothing but someone up front droning on and on, reading from a pre-written script. It was truly mundane and boring.Communication needn't be like that. Most people are very visual and learn better when watching a demonstration or viewing a how-to video. The people over at Reflex Limited know better. They started in 183, dealing in flat screen TV's, projectors, video and audio conferencing and more and touting big name manufacturers such as Sony, Sharp, Panasonic, Sanyo and many others, they want to make sure that you have what you need to effectively communicate your message to either a boardroom or the masses. They are happy to install the equipment to meet your needs. Boasting competitive prices and in-the-know professionals to guide you, they can do the job and will back it up. In Need Of A Business Vehicle? 2007-03-16 20:44:00 A boss that I worked for long ago, although his company's revenue was less than stellar, drove around in a BMW. I asked him about it once. Why didn't he drive something less fancy and save the money? He told he that he wanted to present himself to the customers as someone who had a company that was prospering and could help them with what they needed. Now, I don't know about that reasoning, but I do believe in driving a nice enough car to get you from A to B with a bit of comfort on top of it.If you're searching for such a vehicle and maybe more, you should give LemonFree.com a try. They deal in used cars from individuals looking to sell. The web site is very nicely laid out and simple to use. My favorite types of vehicles are Hondas and Toyotas. Yup, they have them and many others, all makes and models. On top of the listings to buy, if you're in the market to sell, even better news. Vehicle

Get A Good Settlement For Your Life Insurance 2007-03-16 21:16:00 As long as I'm on the subject of insurance today, I wanted to mention that there is a company called Life Settlement
Services who is in the business of Life/Viatical Settlements. In other words, they will work in getting you the best cash value on any life insurance that you presently have that is unneeded or unwanted. Buy a new home, take that dream vacation, take care of debt or other financial obligations. Learn The Ropes Of Affiliate Marketing 2007-03-16 21:01:00 Affiliate marketing is a popular way to make money online and there is a lot of it out there to be made. Just like anything else, there are basics to know. As long as you make an art out of affiliate marketing and using affiliate programs, you're going to do just fine. The basics are the most important lessons you will ever learn. You get those down and the rest is gravy. One of the finest e-books that I've read on all things affiliate marketing is The Affiliate Masters Course. Recently updated in November of 2006, this is the only resource you will need on working with affiliate programs and becoming a top notch marketer. I've read this book through numerous times already and I seem to pick up a little more with each read. The nice thing about it is that the author, Ken Evoy, president of SiteSell, refrains from using geek speak. This makes it an easy read for novice and expert alike. He also peppers all of his e-books with humor, so it's equally a fun read. The Affiliate Masters Co Read more:Ropes

Monetizing Your RSS Feeds 2007-03-16 18:36:00 RSS feeds that push information to your readers are a terrific marketing tool that you should definitely looking into implementing, if you haven't already. The information is great, but what about taking it a step beyond and monetizing those feeds? Most of the time, web site owners and bloggers use their feeds to simply deliver content, but there are many companies out there pushing affiliate links, coupons and more to potential buyers. Think about offering private deals to subscribers of your feeds. Something always comes at a cost, whether it's overt or covert.
