Defensive Midfielder Candidates 2008-06-15 09:47:00 Seeing that nothing much have happened about Arsenal today, and that now I have the time, I thought it would be wasteful not to publish anything. So I've decided to write this article about the possible candidates for the vacant DM position left by Mathieu Fla-money. Lots of candidate, and lots of opinion from me.Miguel VelosoTo see his full profile, click here.Strengths: Great technical player, r Read more:Defensive

Next Season Starts Today 2008-06-16 07:05:00 Indeed, next season may have just started. After looking at the fixture list from Arsenal.com, I got some mix feelings. It seems that we'll all be hyping up on the fixtures, predicting the outcome for each of them. So rather than start preparations late, we must as well start NOW. Anyway, before I start you should check out the list first.Seen the list? Now firstly we've to look at our starting ma Read more:Season

If I Were van Basten... 2008-06-17 10:10:00 Well folks, tonight's much-anticipated Euro 2008 group C last fixture is just hours away, where it's a battle of mind-games and managers trying to outsmart the other. Well thanks goodness I managed to sneak in their office and stole their diaries. And I even got Fabregas' too! Enjoy their diary entries, and by the way sorry for the gay pictures lol ^^ Warning: Some crude humour included! If I were
Villa or Podolski? 2008-06-17 03:14:00 I'm sure if you're a Gooner who reads the hottest rumours about Arsenal these players will look familiar to you. They have been linked with the Goon Squad recently, both being quality players playing for their national team in Euro 2008 currently. Now here's the big question, "Who would you sign if you're Arsene Wenger?" Of course some people would just give a simple "Sign both!" reply, but judgin Read more:Villa
Phillipe Senderos- Should He Be Given a Second Chance? 2008-06-18 13:36:00 His fate is sealed. Now only Arsene Wenger knows what he's going to do to Senderos next season. Switzerland's Euro 2008 campaign is over, so the only way Senderos can convince Wenger to keep him is by going to his office or impressing on the training ground. Now I will try to read Arsene Wenger's mind and analyse Phillipe Senderos. It's judgment day for Senderos. It's really difficult to understand Read more:Given

WTF Wenger Has Been Doing 2008-06-18 10:40:00 Another half-a-month and the transfer window is open again. But even before the transfer window opens some managers have started opening their cheque book. Well, what have Arsene Wenger
, the man we Gooners call "The Professor", been doing?Talk about transfer speculation and the first person that comes to your mind should be Hleb or Adebayor. They have been linked to AC Milan and Barcelona, plus a
Who Should be Arsenal Captain Next Season? 2008-06-18 01:32:00 Today, I'm going to talk about the ArsenalCaptain
cy issue. It has been speculated for a long time, ever since Arsenal's form went down towards the end of the season and Gallas trying to be the Incredible Hulk, smashing ad boards and going crazy. And the funny thing is, the "Hulk" broke out in tears after that. Now, let's see the candidates:William GallasThe current Arsenal captain, he looks fine b Read more:Season
Marcos Senna Linked with Arsenal 2008-06-27 06:50:00
Another transfer target added to the list.
One of the latest additions being the man above, Marcos
Senna. A player whom I feel my opinions has some similarity with Torsten Frings, he has the same age as Frings, being 31 years-old which I feel is just too old. He impressed during this Euro 2008 campaign, and even though many people would think that the lack of experience was the thing that knocke Read more:Arsenal

Adebayor to Milan 80% Done 2008-06-26 06:16:00
Reports from Goal.com has said that Adebayor
's deal that will bring him to Italian giants AC Milan
is 80% done.
According to Adebayor's agent, the deal is almost complete and it will probably be delayed until Arsene Wenger finds a replacement for Adebayor. Here's what Ade's agent said,
“What are the chances of Adebayor coming to Milan? I’d say today we are between 70 and 80 per cent.”
And
The Stan Kroenke Revolution + Santa Cruz to be Arsene's Next Target? 2008-06-22 07:33:00 I don't know if you guys actually know this, but the man on the left is actually a new member of the Arsenal Board of Directors after he recently bought 12.19% stakes in Arsenal. And from what I heard from Goal.com he may just be the man that will spark a summer transfer shake-up, which may cause Adebayor to go to Barcelona. I'm not sure if it's true, but I seriously hope he doesn't interfere with Read more:Santa

Clichy Signs Long-Term Contract 2008-06-21 12:08:00
Arsenal left back Gael Clichy has been linked to Juventus and Roma recently, but Clichy has probably shown a sign to those clubs that he won't be going anywhere. He has signed a long-term contract.
Neither Clichy nor Arsenal stated the length of the contract, but it is confirmed that it is "long-term". This is good news for Arsenal, as he impressed superbly by outshining the detested Cashley Col
The Transfer Trio- Adebayor + Hleb + Ronaldo 2008-06-21 11:25:00 Haven't updated this site for days. Expect much longer delays in update as my holidays are coming to a close soon and I won't have as much time to write. Anyway...
Opened my Firefox browser, and on my homepage is goal.com. The first thing I see is "Adebayor
to Barcelona and Milan?"
To be honest I'm really sick and tired of all these transfer speculation. Arsene Wenger has recently sent a frank " Read more:Ronaldo
Can Almunia be Trusted? 2008-06-18 14:35:00
This topics has probably been debated for months, ever since Lehmann suffered a dip in form this question has been asked time and again, "Can Almunia be trusted?"
Almunia, who is only 31 years-old, is born in Spain and have only make 40 appearances so far in his 4 years stint at the Emirates. But next season seems different, Wenger hasn't said anything about signing a new keeper, in fact I once
Nasri Completes Move, FINALLY 2008-07-11 06:18:00 No more bullshits. No more "in 10 days time". No more delays. Samir Nasri moves to Arsenal FC, plain and simple, for an undisclosed fee, although it is thought to be around 11.5 million pounds. A deal which I believe should have been completed weeks ago, he finally signs the contract and moves to Arsenal. Here's what I feel about the transfer of Nasri:1) This boy should have done it long ago, even
Hleb Burning the Bridges? 2008-07-08 03:57:00 Well before I start let me just introduce to you guys a site that I feel you may be interested in going, it's called Soccer Fan Base. It's basically a forum where you can discuss about football. Seeing that the site owner asked me to help recomemnd their site, I did some advertisement for them. Peter Hill-Wood: Ade Staying, Hleb Going 2008-07-07 03:20:00 Nowadays we've always been hearing Arsene Wenger talk about Adebayor, Hleb and all the other stars, and I'm sure you would be quite bored to hear the same person say the same thing day in, day out. Well, we've got a new voice for today. Peter

The Prof. is Fed Up + Roma Wants Gilberto 2008-07-05 20:14:00 It seems that Barcelona has tested Arsene Wenger's patience. It's over the limit, and Arsene has had enough. He's probably lost patience in Adebayor, and will let him go to either Barcelona or Milan, if Arsenal can get a replacement. It's for an astounding 30 million pounds, although Arsenal have set an asking price of 35 million. As expected, Wenger won't "play" with Adebayor anymore, and will gi Read more:Gilberto
Euro's Over, Now What? 2008-06-30 04:52:00 After weeks and close to 1 month of intense international football, the players are returning to their clubs to grab some glory again. There will definitely be different impressions the players have created, but what are the notable points of the tournament? These, based on my opinions, are some interesting things I feel I should share:Best Goalkeeper:He's 37 and close to retirement but he's still
Adebayor Wants to be Paid Like Henry 2008-06-29 03:39:00 Call it cocky or whatever, Adebayor
has came lashing out, again, about his "spectacular" transfer saga.News of the World has reported that Adebayor wants to be paid like Thierry Henry
, by demanding a whopping 400 per cent pay-rise, which would see his weekly wage increase from ₤30,000 to ₤120,000, which means Adebayor wants to get the same "value" and salary as Thierry Henry when he was still
Clichy feels "old" 2008-07-25 10:03:00 Gael Clichy feels that he's old, not literally but just an expression. With Arsenal's squad average age at a record low, Clichy feels "old" and a senior player the younger players looks up to. And FFS, he's only 22. Here's what he said on Arsenal.com:"I don't really feel that old myself, but when you have players like Jack [Wilshere] at 16 and Henri [Lansbury] at 17 on the pitch with you then you
Legendary "Comebacks" 2008-07-23 09:32:00 Just when we thought they were dead and gone for good, these 2 old Arsenal legends suddenly had a "comeback". And coincidentally, the 2 strikers partnership have been considered one of the most lethal in the club's history. Yes, Thierry Henry and Dennis Bergkamp.Thierry Henry- We're talking about the legendary Henry we knew about 2 years ago. Not the current Barcelona one who seem to never be able Read more:Legendary
Latest News- RVP and Gallas on the way out? 2008-07-20 07:40:00 Rumour nowadays. One of the latest transfer rumour surrounding Arsenal is that Robin van Persie, more affectionately known as RVP to Gooners, is being linked to Juventus. This is highly unreal, but it is said that 15 million pounds can seal the deal. This leads me to think: are we actually being bullies in the transfer window? Firstly Adebayor, then Hleb, and now van Persie. I hope Arsene Wenger st
Arsenal Sign Coquelin... If you know who I'm talking about 2008-07-19 09:32:00 Arsenal have signed their third player this season, another teen from French Third Division Laval. He's a guy called Francis Coquelin, and he impressed during a trial with Arsenal last season. He then move to North London for free as he did not sign a professional contract with them. So if you're confused, he came to Arsenal the same way Fabregas and Merida did.“Arsenal have signed French midfie Read more:Arsenal
Worried, Worried, Worried... 2008-07-17 07:11:00 This time I'm worried. About a month ago I could just say, "Don't worry, we still have time," but this time, we are just 1 month away to our first EPL fixture against West Brom. And Arsene Wenger has been selling Hleb, Gilberto, Flamini (free) and maybe Adebayor. We have only signed Ramsey, Nasri and Vela (return from loan). Pardon me if I missed out any players, but it still seems to me that we a
Hleb and Gilberto Part Company with Arsenal 2008-07-17 06:49:00 Just yesterday, I said that Hleb was in Barcelona for a medical. Now he's medical is complete, and his move to Barcelona is official. Finally, after months of speculation the smoke is clear. whether it will be a good or bad move only time will tell. Arsene Wenger even paid tribute to him, thanking him for his contributions for Arsenal
while he was still at the club.“We must firstly thank Alex fo Read more:Gilberto
