The wonderful 80s
2007-12-07 03:09:00
Been 20years.. and the song is still singing in my head.

Procrastinating....

Over the shoulder
2007-11-14 03:38:00
Sad isn’t it? A place that used to be bustling with laughter and activities is now a barren land.. a ghost town. With some occasional passer-bys, a hi & a bye, a little nod of acknowledgement if both glances ever met and that’s about all.Is it time to demolish this rundown old place and open it up to a better future and most probably much better usage? Or would it be worthwhile to hang on to it just a little while longer… hoping that maybe some life will return?Faithfully serving as my little yet significant time-capsule, re-tracing back the steps, the stories, the past… is not just any ‘Sunday morning-read’. It brings back fresh emotions of anguish, joy and heartaches. While treasuring the past mightbe a positive value, reliving it is certainly no walk in the park…Indeed whe

Fate, Destiny & Pain Pte Ltd
2007-10-01 02:11:00
Somebody should buy Fate a watch. Don't you ever feel that Fate tends to come at the wrong time? Either too early... or too late, but hardly at the right time. I'm pretty sure too that Destiny is in cahoots with Fate, ganging up ever so often to catch you at the wrong time and playing some really cruel pranks on you. They must be really young too. Not realising that at times the pranks they play can have a far more hurting consequences. So much that silence is the only scream that I can muster enough to emit.Pain must be one of the biggest shareholder in the Fate/Destiny partnership, as evident in the ever-increasing value it gains whenever Fate/Destiny goes into action and returns triumphant. It's a cruel world, isn't it?

For those who are familiar with our northern neighbour's Negarakuku's saga.. this is a well-thought out clip by Petronas with some hidden agenda about a particular race.(Pay attention to its process & the ending... it has a message.)Go figure.

Budding Poets...
2007-08-28 00:54:00
Excellent poems by not so famous poets... found on toilet doors and walls..........A budding poet trying his best...Here I lie in stinky vapor,Because some bastard stole the toilet paper,Shall I lie, or shall I linger,Or shall I be forced to use my finger. Before he graduated to be a poet, he wrote this...Here I sitBroken heartedTried to shitBut only fartedSomeone who had a different experience wrote,You're luckyYou had your chanceI tried to fart,And shit my pants!Perhaps it's true that people find inspiration in toilets.I came hereTo shit and stink,But all I doIs sit and think. There are also people who come in for a different purpose...Some come here to sit and think,Some come here to shit and stink,But I come here to scratch my balls,And read the bullshit on the walls...Toilets walls als

Nothing is Impossible
2007-08-20 22:42:00
How time flies... it's been a month since I've been actively blogging. Being busy isn't the whole story... neither is the lack of topics. On the contrary... many thoughts and grouses has been on my mind, and due to the public nature of this avenue... sad to say, I'm unable to share further. For those who has been faithful readers through the years might realise there's a certain topic I've been circling in. Topic that pretty much involves going rounds in circles. To set the record straight.. I'm someone who likes to push ahead, regardless of work, family, friends, love or other matters. I hate procrastinators. To much dismay, at times I'm guilty as charged. However, in my mitigation.. much of my procrastinating often involves external factor that were beyond the boundaries of my control... k

Bestseller in the making? Or just a flop...
2007-08-06 00:47:00
As she steers into unknown waters, her crew made the fatal mistake of assuming the ship's tough enough to withstand all dangers. Barely a few years since leaving port.. cracks have appeared on numerous occasions, at times.. it seems fate has destined it to be part of the seabed. Yet, thanks to its never-say-die attitude of its crew's tireless repairs and work, hope was never lost and miracles was born.Maybe its the time, or maybe its the pressure of the high seas. This indomitable attiude of her crew has waned significantly. If this goes uncheck... it could very well mean the end of this ship. She will sink.Period.

Updates
2007-08-01 00:40:00
Phew... what a month! It's been a whirlwind of activities, work and more work with just enough break in between for some much-needed shuteye... hence my lack of posts recently. Well, guess I own you guys a little update. Hmm.. I can't reveal too much for now but for just a sliver of info, something major is on the cards... not entirely new but a realignment of strategy and focus. Oh, this is getting fun.. maybe I'll just tease you guys a little further... here's a teaser ad I've done.Part 1Part 2 Apart from work... it's been a pretty turbulent period with plenty of ups & downs. Nothing new or news-worthy, just that I'm really getting tired and pretty sick of it all.

As promised..

The final piece of the puzzle has been fitted... took me an hour last night just to reconfigure all the wirings of the speakers. It's amazing how much dust can accumulate behind and beneath your players, I swear it almost looks like a complete eco-system when I remove my amplifier!Looking good.. Pass the popcorn, please!

Stay-home weekend!!
2007-07-15 23:05:00
it's here!! After eagerly awaiting it for a week... I can finally bask in the full glory of watching LOTR on the 50" plasma widescreen.. Throwing caution to the wind, I turn up the volume and almost max out the sub-woofer... despite it's getting late in the evening. The result? Simple mind-blowing... I'm speechless! Hahhaa.. I can see more movie-nights are on the cards.. Time to stock up on the chips!!Btw, bought a new TV console.. would be coming in 2 days' time.. shall update with more pics then...

Pan Fried Pepper Spagetti anyone?
2007-07-15 21:53:00
My first formal foray into cooking.. thought I'll start with something simple and something edible that I won't mind eating.. Pan-Fried Spagetti! So, a few days back, went over to Cold Storage near my favourite haunt, Ah Mei @ Railway Mall... got myself some Virgin Oil, Spagetti & Pepper .. wanted to get Peppercorns instead but their range was pretty limited, so just settle for some pepper grounds. Alright, think I shall skip the cooking process as I'm probably a worse cook than you guys! Surprisingly after 20 odd-minutes, I emerge from the smoke-filled kitchen unscathed, it's done! (I made an accidental discovery on the way too... that olive oil makes wonderful smoke bombs!)Well.. results? It's pretty good I must say! I managed to finish a huge serving, my mom who came home shortly after t

Making "Home" Work
2007-07-13 00:36:00
If "you're happy at work, you will ultimately achieve successful work-life balance.." Motivational speaker, David Oliver, stressed the point when he spoke recently at a seminar, At Home With Family. The inspirational speaker and author of Work: Prison or Place of Destiny, says, "When you’re unhappy at work, it will inadvertently affect your family."But not all of us have dream jobs, you say? He rationalises that it’s all about making choices and finding the right motivation at work. Choose to put passion at work, and passion will continue at home. But work with a heavy heart filled with overwhelming stress, and no doubt, these work "toxins" will spill over into your family life.Oliver suggests some practical strategies to putting the spring back into work and managing work-life relatio

Alien!!
2007-07-12 21:50:00
Heard the radio while driving on the way to work this morning about this group of Canadian surgeons having the shock of their lives while operating on a man who began oozing out GREEN BLOOD!Yes, you heard me right! Green blood. According to them, this 42 year old Canadian have a blood discoloration condition caused by sulfhemoglobinaemia, which happens when a sulfur atom becomes attached the oxygen-carrying hemoglobin protein present in blood.Apparently it's caused by the patient's migraine medication, sumatriptan, which contains a sulfonamide group. Talk about science-fiction coming to life! For those Star Trek fans out there, you'll most probably be reminded of 'Spock' whose has green blood due to his Vulcan origin.
