SAT classroom course savings - $100 off

Until May 31st, Kaplan is offering $100 off their classroom course for the Class of 2010 (current sophmores). That brings the $999 fee down to $899. If you sign up for the fall, you child will also receive free classes to prepare for the PSAT. Based on my previous experience with my oldest, these classes fill up fast in July and August. Tutoring

I have also been considering group tutoring for the PSAT/SAT. Your child mets locally with 1 or 2 children and a tutor for an hour. You get more intensive studying. Its more expensive too - $50/hour or about $2000 for 24 hours. I think this is too expensive but I am thinking about it.

I can't decide what preparation course my child should take. My child is going to be a junior. I am investigating review courses for preparation for the SATs. I think she might be better off going to a classroom. Self study, on-line course or classroom - what should it be? I will post information on each in my next posts.
