Upgrade Wordpress 2.1.1 to 2.1.2 now! 2007-03-03 06:16:20 Some days back, Wordpress

If you have upgraded your Wordpress to 2.1.1 , then its a red alert for you to upgrade to 2.1.2. Now plz note, this upgrade is for only who have upgraded to 2.1.1, not for them who are still on 2.1 or older. This is also not for Wordpress.com users so relax.
You can download the newer version i.e. 2.1.2 from Wordpress.org .
I’m using WP 2.1 so no worries for me!

I also dont know howto make one but recently I found a video on Youtube which shows a very easy and simple steps to make a web 2.0 logo in Adobe Photoshop
and I’ve tested that it also works in paint.NET if followed the steps properly!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pOkaC4eHsE
Now if you find it hard (but its not) or not able to create it then you can download the PSD file which I made and can replace my text ‘rishiraj’ with yours. And if you can’t create it then also then ask me, I’ll make one for you free.

No need for invites now, just go and signup for Gmail now! 2007-02-15 10:40:38 As per an Associated Press (AP) report, starting today, Google’s free email service, Gmail
, will shed whatever remains of its invitation only restrictions, to become truly open to people world-wide.
This marks a first since the launch of Gmail on April 1, 2004.
As such, in the US, Canada, Mexico, and large parts of Asia and South America, invitations will no longer be needed in order to sign-up for Gmail.
Keith Coleman, Product Manager, Gmail, described the development as “a pretty momentous time for Gmail”.
Co-founder, Sergey Brin, said Gmail has become a ‘real cornerstone’ for Google, and that therefore, making it more widely available is important for the company.
Google’s move implies that the company now believes they have adequate computing capacity to accomodate a generous amount of free storage via email.
As it is, each Gmail account gets at least 2.8 gigabytes of storage -enough to fill nearly 1.4 million pages.
However, Gmail will continue

Aura N48 Communicator from Asus 2007-02-06 11:35:17 Well, it seems the introduction of the Apple iPhone has given a serious shocker throughout the cellphone industry and we’ve been seeing other major companies try to compete since then.
From the latest releases only LG seems to have had something that could at least be a little bit similar to the iPhone with their LG Prada KE850 phone.
Well, it seems we’re here to see another concept phone, the Asus
Aura N48 Communicator
, produced by the Hungarian design company, Egy Studio. Looking at it can tell you that it was clearly inspired by the iPhone, although the Asus Aura has some interesting innovations that address some of the shortcomings that the iPhone seems to have.
One of the unique features of the Asus Aura is a movable navigation module with navigation buttons. Also, a sliding QWERTY keyboard should make text entry much easier.
Other features of the Asus Aura include - a 3.9 inch touchscreen covering the whole surface of the phone, a 2 megapixel camera, microSD memory

Cooler Master Heatsink - Gemin II 2007-02-05 11:36:33 Cooler Master
aren’t thinking of the problems people are facing with Vista PCs. Instead they are just going outright crazy with their cooling solutions. They have recently announced their latest cooling solution for processors; the Gemin II.
This heatsink has two 120mm fans, dozens of aluminum fins, and six copper heat pipes. The heatsink is large enough to grace half of the entire motherboard and probably even break it into two. The heatsink is enormous as the picture indicates and will require an even enormous cabinet to house it. The Gemin II will surely keep those AMD X2s and Intel Core 2 Duo/Extreme chilled down as well. No word on the pricing and availability as yet but do expect the price to set the temperature soaring in your wallet. Say something around the 5-6K mark.
N.B. - I would like to welcome ReviewSaurus who will be a guest blogger at this blog. And one more thing … this my and this blog’s century [100] post!

Buffalo Laptop USB Mouse 2007-02-04 23:50:44 Buffalo have released a mouse for laptops. This mouse manages to offer a retractable cable in its body. This mouse keeps away the trouble of dealing with a laptop handbag with cluttered wires. With the coiling up of the cable within the body, there is nothing but the USB port that’s left out. According to the company the mouse has a “high accuracy tracking”.
The resolution hasn’t been disclosed. The mouse is available in colors; silver, white and black. The mouse will be a killer for the wireless laptop mouse market. But nevertheless Buffalo plans to release a wireless one as well. Both the mouse will look the same just for the change in communication; wire to wireless. The company promises a 157 hours of usage from two AA batteries. The USB version will cost you $33 (Rs. 1,485) while the wireless option to be released later will cost $44 (Rs. 1,980).

Disney USB flash drives 2007-02-03 13:02:14 Buffalo, a company that has been creating waves in almost every field of technology nowadays, has just unveiled a lineup of USB drives that sport licensed Disney
characters such as Mickey Mouse, Winnie the Pooh, and Stitch. Not only does this drive have just 512MB of capacity, but due to its shape its not something you can tuck in your pocket.
Hence it’s fairly clear that these are aimed squarely at Disney fanboys (and girls) who just can’t let the opportunity to own a “limited edition” Disney item pass them by. Releasing late next month, only 5,000 of each character will be available for sale, and while we’re not sure of the exact prices, we’re certain they will be a bit overpriced due to its short supply.

PQI’s U510 1 GB 2007-02-02 14:54:45 We’re here with news of PQI’s latest release, the U510. Although the U510 USB Flash Card is not the 16GB one as the other release, PQI’s giving this device a fancy makeover for the Chinese New Year, as the “Limited Fortune Pig Edition Card Drive” (I’m not kidding), which dons red and gold colors in preparation for the celebration.
Surprisingly, this isn’t the first time a USB flash device has been decorated for the forthcoming occasion, but we have a good feeling despite the looks of it, it won’t be that expensive. The cards come with a flat, retractable USB 2.0 cable, carrying bag, and personal file management software, and though we aren’t sure just how much it actually costs, only 1,000 1GB drives are being produced while just 500 2GB units will see the light of day, so we’d suggest that if you really want it, ask a relative/friend who’s going to China to buy it for you.

Orkut integrates Youtube and Google Video gallery! 2007-02-02 05:33:32
Today when I got up in morning and went to check my mails and scraps, I found an amazing thing in orkut. It was a VIDEO additon. Google
integrates Yotutube and Google Video
s gallaery like this in orkut.
Now this can be a major chnage made by Google in orkut. Taking this new feature as a plus point, there is also a minus point - Orkut
still lacks a community like page where everyone can share videos and see the popular one like MySpace Videos and Bebo TV have!
Now adding video to your Favourate Video gallery page is very simple. Just goto http://www.orkut.com/FavoriteVideos.aspx and there enter the URL of your favourate Youtube or Google Video URL like http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J5geHGfbwkg and the click the ADD button. Thats it … a mini player will appear in the Fav. Video gallery page!
Thats it! Enjoy!:D and dont forget to check my page in orkut here !
Thanks TechBuzz!

SimpleTech 64GB SSD! 2007-02-01 15:19:43 A member of SimpleTech
’s Zeus Solid State Drive lineup, the 2.5 inch 64GB SSD measures a mere 9.5mm thick (0.37-inches), which if compared to some competing solutions, is half their thickness, making it a solid option for people with those ever-slimmer laptops.
SimpleTech is currently targeting the device at high performance applications such as Military, Intelligence, and Aviation and has apparently protected the drive against shock, humidity, vibration, and altitude (guess they’ve thought of everything, huh?) No word on its price, but I’m guessing this one won’t be as cheap as I think.

Okoro OMS-GX300 HTPC! 2007-01-31 12:37:11 It seems Okoro Media Systems has proven, time and again that they are among the best HTPC producing companies in the world, this time with their quad-core 2.66GHz Intel Core 2 Extreme QX6700 processor and an HDCP-compliant NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTX graphics card (which is just the start) in their newly upgraded OMS-GX300 HTPC.
Besides the sleek, black chassis with built-in seven-inch touchscreen display, this beast is packed with 4GB of Crucial Ballistix DDR2 RAM, twin dual-layer DVD burners (its ok if you faint now), DTS Connect / Dolby Digital Live, 1TB of SATA hard drive space (now would also be a good time to faint), 9-in-1 flash card reader, dual TV tuners, and a range of OS choices including Vista Ultimate. The other features include a variety of ports, which include FireWire, optical / digital audio, four USB 2.0 connectors, Ethernet, two DVI outputs, VGA / component / S-Video / composite outs, microphone in, and the obligatory OTA cable inputs.

DataTraveler ReadyFlash! 2007-01-31 06:20:56 Kingston seems well prepared with the launch of their DataTraveler
ReadyFlash, which appears to be a regular 1 or 2GB USB 2.0 drive with a 5/3MBps read/write but it supports Windows Vista’s new feature - Windows ReadyBoost - which allows you to use a USB drive as another layer of performance-boosting cache for Windows.
No word on price or release yet, but I would make sure u have Microsoft Vista, a USB 2.0 port and a USB Flash drive enhanced for Windows ReadyBoost with at least 512 MB of available space before going for this one.

MotoRAZR MAXX V6 Ferrari! 2007-01-29 11:29:45 Now it’s finally the turn of Ferrari
to have a branded phone after the Aston Martin and the McLaren handsets. Ferrari’s partnership with Motorola has lead to a MotoRAZR
MAXX V6 with the Ferrari branding all over it. It’s called the V6 Ferrari but doesn’t mean that it has 6 Valve engine running it.
The phone has a black finish instead of the traditional Rosso Corsa (Ferrari Red) paint. The other specs of the phone are a 2 MP camera, microSD expansion slot, Bluetooth 2.0, and USB 2.0 connectivity. It even supports standard GPRS, EDGE and HSDPA. The phone has the Ferrari branding all over with the logo on the outside and a full fledged Ferrari theme sporting the Ferrari F430. Every time you startup the phone there is a F430 engine roar. The suspected price of the phone is around $633 (Rs. 28,500) and no date of the release has been specified.

Money making facts 2007-03-06 09:54:06 Now a days, money is the main factor and craze of making
money from computer is everywhere. People blog to make money, some freelance and some just use simple affliliate programmes.
But world’s richest man and the chairman of Microsoft Mr. Bill Gates is far away from them. He is world’s richest man because of computers and here I’m going to share some facts
about him.
Bill Gates earns US$250 each SECOND, which is about US$20 Million in a DAY and US$7.8 Billion in a YEAR.
If he drops a thousand dollar, he won’t even bother to pick it up because the 4 seconds he picks it, he would’ve already earned it back.
The US national debt is about 5.62 trillion, if Bill Gates were to pay the debt from his pocket; he will finish the debt in less then 10 years.
Bill Gates can donate US $15 to everyone on earth but still be left with US$5 Million for his pocket money.

I’m also in the Tech Link chain 2007-03-07 11:05:29 Tech Link chain
is new blog-game going around in the blogosphere. It is just a list sharing on technology blogs you read or write. I was introduced to it by Phalgun and now I’m continuing it. Now here I’ll mention some technology sites or blogs which are not on list and then the train will go on with the people I linked.
Write a short paragraph at the beginning of your post and link back to the blog that put you on the list in the paragraph. This isn’t a suggestion. You need to break up the duplicate content string. Someone took the time to add you so the least you can do is give them an extra linkback.
Copy the list of originals below COMPLETELY and add it to your blog. If you would like a different keyword for your blog then change it when you do your post and it should pass to most blogs with that keyword.
Take the adds from the blog that added you and place them in the “Originals” list.
Add no more than 5 new TECH, SCIENCE, or CONSUMER ELECTRONICS blogs t

Let me tell you the movie doesnt comes in real graphics, just some titbit of digital charecters and it will also be without any audio, just CallOut ballons.
Now its not to see the movie but just to enjoy the cool programming!
So what do you think about it? Is it good or just a time waste?
