Mobile once again and a new domain 2007-03-21 01:16:07 Well, we have a new car. But, the paperwork won’t go through for a month (3 weeks). And we got the old car fixed. I guess the spark plugs needed replacing. Or at least that’s what Big Buff said.

I like gaming. I think I have played FF8 (Final Fantasy 8) about five times. And I know I can beat it in a day.
I used to be a good artist. But I haven’t done anything major since I had my son so my handywork is a little rusty.
I’m completely jealous of some of the bloggers I visit. They know how to put things into words perfectly. Especially the PPPers. I look at my stuff and I’m like BLECH!!!! Why can’t I write that well?
I have completely lost touch with a lot of my friends. Online and off. I wish I could find some way to get back into communication w/them. >.> *stalks Sarah*
Speaking of Sarah, I went to middle school with her. And another of our friends, Eva, who I have no idea where abouts she is. I don’t think Sarah does either. But I miss them both. Go visit her though. She has some interesting posts. And tell her I Jenny sent ya.

He needs his own little corner of the world 2007-03-22 01:19:41 I was surfing around some shopping blogs today and I came across a neat one. This blog has all kinds of nifty posts about all kinds of nifty things. And I found a post about bedroom furniture for kids. Granted this was stuff for girls (but could be for boys to some degree), but that little
two drawer end table thinger is perfect for what I am looking for. I want to give Mini Buff his own little
play area in our dinky little apartment. I’d probably have to move the dining room table somewhere else (maybe the edge of the living room), but his T.V. would fit nicely on it. We really need a bigger place, but I guess I can find some way to manage until then.
Do you think this would look good over a couch? Maybe I’ll look for one of those for my house. My mom has something like it. I MUST BE A COPY CAT!!

Weekends Suck!! 2007-03-18 03:53:24 Yes, they do!
I have been in the house all week. And the one day I wanna get out, our one working vehicle decides to kick the bucket. Talk about your lousy luck. So now I’m sitting here, waiting for my friend to finish war, and surfing around some forum while thinking of what to do with the theme I am working on and what plugins to put in.
Le Sigh…I can’t wait till we get our new car. I’ll be sure to post pictures!

Cooking on a Budget, Just what I need! 2007-03-13 16:47:49 Well, we’ve enjoyed our tax return while we had it. Yesterday, the rent had to be paid and now we’re back on a budget. So no more impulse money-wasting for me. I was surfing BlogJolt and I saw this post about a woman named Kristy and her blog. She found some good ideas on money saving meals and how to cook for your family on a budget from another blogger, Hillbilly Housewife. I took a look around both sites and I have to admit, some of the ideas they have would be great for my family at the moment. I’m not much of a cook, but I’m learning. So I think I could make this work. And like Kristy said, the research is done for you. All you have to do is read.
More stuffs from the homefront 2007-03-12 16:16:49 Panda Boy is starting to talk a little more. He said, “Bowl” and “Why”. Probably not a big accomplishment to some, but to me it is. He jumped in my lap last night while I was watching M.A.S.H. dvd’s, kissed me on the cheek, said “Ni Ni (night night)” and fell asleep in my lap. Made me feel all warm and snuggly. LOL.
We went to Batsto on saturday to just get out and walk around. And enjoy the day. Big Buff and Panda Boy ran around and played with cars while I pushed the carriage and watched. The little guy really enjoyed himself. And he got some exercise too.
I also bought my mom a little gifty for her birthday in the gift shop which was this past friday. We went out together and had dinner at this little… I’d call it a cafe since it was small… but I guess it could be called a resturaunt. Anyway, we went there, had a mexican dinner of nachos and a burrito. Then we went to see Wild Hogs. For those of you that haven’t s Read more:homefront

A little vacation time please 2007-03-26 18:54:30 I really feel like I need to get away. I’ve been extremely stressed out (no matter how happy life seems on here) and there is a lot I need to get done. But between Mini Buff, and house duty (cooking, cleaning) I really don’t get to do a lot. The only time I can ever “get away” is when I go out with my mom for a few hours. And it’s nice. I really enjoy it. But I think I need more time. So does she really. We should run away to the Bahamas.
Tasra has some good ideas about how to unwind and refocus and make time to do the things you would like to do. I think I’m going to put some of them to the test. And see how it goes. But as for “getting away”, I honestly don’t know how that’s going to work.

Potty Training 2007-03-26 05:03:38 We are trying to potty train Mini Buff. But it’s not working. My mom (and others) have told me that it takes time and not to rush it. They’ve also said, “Wait till they’re ready.” I ask you. How does a child know they’re ready to sit and poop in a potty? I guess maybe they do but I’ve never seen that.
We bought him a potty. And it’s a nifty stool for when he brushes his teeth too. But that’s all he uses it for. When I try to get him on the potty, he screams and runs. He also screams and runs when he sees a poop. But maybe he is too young. Maybe we should wait until he’s three? Or four? I don’t know!! I guess I’ll wait. /end emo rant

Something other then “Mommy-ness” 2007-03-28 08:31:51 Ok. I whole heartedly admit that I have no life. And this post got me thinking.
Yes, I’m a mommy, yes, this is my site. And I when I opened this site, I meant it to be kind of a mommy blog, because to be fair and honest, that’s all I do. I spend my days being a mom. I don’t work, I hardly go out because Mini Buff can get out of hand and I honestly don’t feel like dealing with it, I don’t have girlfriends to hang out with, and if I do go out, I don’t go any further then the movies or the bookstore and that’s usually with my mom (who I love to hang out with). But I think I should start blogging about all the other things I do too. Not that it’s much, but I think it would probably get people more interested in my posts and maybe they would come back more often.

Got my niece a gifty 2007-04-02 05:15:16 I haven’t visited Shannon (PHAT Mommy) in a long time. And when I saw her site link in my firefox bookmarks, I just went, “OMG!”. So when I went to visit her once again, I happened to see a cute little contest for hair ribbons/clips she was running on her site from Cupcakes & Cuties. Now, I don’t have a little girl. God knows I wish I did, but I don’t, so I figured, hey, why not enter and give them to my niece if I happen to win. I didn’t think I would. But, guess what? I DID!! So, she emailed me, I emailed her back, and now my niece will have some cute little hair clips to wear whenever she wants.
Cartoons can drive you crazy! 2007-04-03 18:25:50 We have a channel called Qubo. I hate it. I really do. They have about five or six shows that they play over, and over, and over all day long! Mini Buff used to watch PBS everyday, with the occasional Thomas or Bob the Builder DVD thrown in here and there when he got bored of Barney or Teletubbies. And I like Arthur and Reading Rainbow along with him. But now, I can’t get it off Qubo. Not even when my shows are on. But I have to admit, it’s nice to watch Lambchop again. But not 5-6 times in the same day. Of the same episode!! Has anyone seen this channel? Do you hate it as much as I do? I really should get cable. Maybe we’d find something me and him could both enjoy. Like cartoon network. Or Sprout. Something other then Qubo!!

New Jersey FTW 2007-04-03 00:24:23 Guess what? Deb is from NJ too. How hawt is that? Now I don’t feel so alone. I visit her blog every now and then, and it’s always an interesting read. I wish there were more people from NJ that blogged. Maybe there are. But I don’t know who they are, or what their blogs are. Well, Deb just received the Supahstar thinger from Geeky Speaky.
