Music in the ATL 2008-05-11 12:55:00 To anyone who likes to go out and catch some live music...there seems to be a lack of original songs by artists. I frequent the Virginia Highlands and Buckhead and hearing an original song is rare. Not long ago I tried giving a demo of my music to the bar owner of "MoonDogs." He asked me what covers were on the CD and I told him there are none on the CD, its all my music but explained that I can do plenty of covers. He then proceeded to hand the CD back to me and told me to bring back a CD with only covers on it. What an idiot, I can bring in 30 people on a weeknight but he has the same decent guy up there playing covers and brings no one.
