Only 1 way?? How narrow minded!! 2007-02-05 02:23:00 John 14:6 is one of the most precious, but one of the most hated verses in all of Scripture. It says; "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." The 'preciousness' of this verse is based on the wonderful promise made to all who will believe that there is a way to God available! Man can now successfully meet with God, have communion and felowship with Him, even please Him. Even though man truly is a fallen creature, sin-corrupted, death consumed and damnation oriented, he can be brought to God, forgiven, cleansed and made an heir of eternal life. This is possible in Jesus, the ransom sacrifice, Redeemer and Mediator, the very Christ of God! The 'contempt' for this verse is based on the fact of the exclusiveness plainly declared. And being in torment... 2007-02-03 01:50:00 Anna Nicole Smith, a name that is now associated with profound sadness. She had it all; good looks, money, fame, carnal pleasures, everything that worldly people find appealing. Truly her death, at only 39 years of age, is tragic.
