Premade Holiday Templates 2007-02-26 18:02:26 I have decided to make all (well… 3 so far) holiday premade templates $15 from now on. $25 just seemed like too much for skins that will only be used for a few weeks out of the year. I only have 1 Halloween & 2 Christmas ones at the moment, but I plan on adding a few St. Paddy’s ones in the next couple of weeks.

Notice Anything Different? 2007-02-22 06:58:19 I am finally home! I have totally redone my entire blog & website. Whatcha think? I absolutly LOVE it!
Besides the visual changes, I’ve also made another major change. I will no longer be making templates for Blogger. I don’t like the direction they’ve gone in & it’s no longer fun to make templates for them. I also have the feeling that eventually they will be no longer allow “old format” templates & make every convert to the “new” style.
So… I’ve decided to blow out my remaining premade Blogger templates for $15. Just click on the link to my website in the sidebar and click on the “Services” tab at the bottom of the page.

Wow… Been A While 2007-02-05 08:32:57 I didn’t realize it’s been so long since my last post. I’ve been busy working on a Flash website for a client. It’s been slow going trying to learn it, but this weekend I made some amazing leaps. It’s crazy how different flash is from HTML and CSS&hellip
; it’s like working backwards. I basically started out with the layout and graphics and had to modify things.
I also have a 3 template project coming up. So, I’m going to be busy for the next couple of weeks, but I’m always available!
Pages Updates 2007-01-09 21:28:57 Because I was having trouble with the PayPal buttons in the Wordpress pages, I reverted & updated my original web pages for everything. I also added back the other pages that still need to be converted to WordPress, now that I’m not hosting them within WordPress. Made my life a wee bit easier LOL. Read more:Pages

I have figured out how to add Yahoo messenger smilies that are clickable for people leaving comments. This is automatically included in all pre-made & custom templates, including instructions on how to install.
Also… If you are thinking of switching from Blogger to WordPress, DO NOT upgrade to the Beta/New Blogger as WordPress will not be able to pull your posts and comments. Hopefully WordPress will eventually upgrade to have this ability. I will let you know when/if they do.

If you have been thinking about switching to WordPress you need to know this… There are 2 different WordPess routes. One is the free hosted like Blogger. If you choose this, you need to know that you can not use custom templates, ONLY the ones they provide. You can, however, pay $15 for credits so Read more:Recap
AHHHHHhhhh….. 2007-01-04 07:04:24 As you may notice&hellip
; I lost some posts. Well… I actually lost my entire blog! Long story short… my domain host moved servers and I got left in the dust. LOL I was accessing my c-panel on the old server and trying to add the new domain for Four Leaf Hosting and I got confused and accidently deleted the wrong thing and POOF… blog gone. Thankfully I never deleted my old Blogger blog & was able to at least pull those posts so I’m not totally empty.
The great news is that Four Leaf Hosting is now totally up & running! I even have my first guest!!! The Red Herring! I just sent her the info a few minutes ago, so she’s not settled in just yet, but I’m very happy to have her staying with me!

Plugin: Does Your Mother Know? 2007-03-07 18:45:33 OK, this is my favorite plugin. I use it on my personal blog all the time.
Do you find that you want to post about something, but you don’t want certain people reading it? Then this plugin is something you need. I know there is the password protected option, but the problem with that is that the post title is still visable and, if you are like me, the people you don’t want to see it will just ask for the password where as most readers won’t bother to e-mail you to get the password.
This plugin completely hides the post, as if it isn’t even there, from specified IP addresses. The blocked person will see your blog as if the previous post is your most current post. They’ll never know the difference. If you want to see this “in action” then leave me a comment & I’ll put a temperary block on you.
To use this plugin…
Download the plugin: Does Your Mother Know?
Upload it to your plugins folder
Go to your PLUGINS tab and activate the Read more:Plugin
Deleting Posts & Pages 2007-03-07 17:58:06 If you are getting the message: You don’t have permission to do that. when you try to delete a post or page in the MANAGE tab, all you have to do is:
Go to the MANAGE tab
Find the post you want to delete and click on Edit
Scroll down about 1/2 way and look for the large gray button on the left hand side that says Delete This Post & click on it, then click OK

Manage Categories Problems 2007-03-07 16:55:36 Have you been having problems adding, deleting or editing categories? I found a work around. Here’s what to do:
Download the plugin: Category Manage

Upload to your plugins folder
Go to the PLUGINS tab in your admin panel
Activate the Category Plugin
Go to the MANAGE tab & click on the Category Manager subtab
Create, delet & edit your categories
Go back to the PLUNGINS tab and deactivate the Category Manager plugin
It’s important to deactivate it as it will cause your sidebar to go wanky. Sometimes by doing this once, people will then be able to create the catagories like normal, but not everyone. Read more:Categories

Comment Spam 2007-03-08 18:54:11 Lately I have been getting comment spams… really bad ones too… as in the XXX variety. So I went looking and found the plugin: Peter’s Custom Anti-Spam
It’s a fun & customizable anti-spam plugin… you get to choose your own words!
The uniqueness of my plugin is two-fold:
1) It does not discrimate against users who have cookies disabled.
2) You can pick your own fun random words to display.
