In case you are unfamiliar, Ning gives anyone the ability to create, customize, and share their own social network, based around whatever topic you want (example), in a matter of minutes. For FREE. And unlike MySpace, Ning actually looks good.
Let’s say you are a fan of Microbrewed beer and you want to create a social network to interact with other fans and get recommendations. The Onion Launches Online News Network 2007-03-09 20:17:35 On March 26th, America’s Finest News Source, the satirical newspaper The Onion will venture into a realm that many other print publications are currently experimenting with, online video.
According to WiReD, the Onion News Network is:
