Relocating to Columbus? 2008-05-01 13:35:00 Why on earth would anyone want to relocate to Columbus
, OH? Well, let me tell you why there are a myriad of reasons. There is nothing quite like good old middle America, and that’s what Columbus is. Our cost of living is one of the most affordable in the country; in fact, the average sales price for a SFM home in Columbus is only $165,000! Above and beyond our reasonable cost of living, we have a lot happening here! We’re the state capital, the home of The Ohio State University (Go Buckeyes!) and we are the headquarters for a number of corporate giants like Nationwide Insurance, Honda of America, The Limited Corporation, and Wendy’s Restaurants. We are a major hub for distribution and one of our two international airports is a multi-modal cargo airport that features freight for
Worthington, Ohio Real Estate Market Update 2008-05-02 10:01:00 The warmth of the spring season, green grass and beautiful blooming flowers bushes and trees is setting the scene for an active residential market here in the City of Worthington. Worthington has received the “Tree City” designation and the benefits of that effort are seen today with beautiful tree lined streets.
Even the doom and gloom reported by the major media has not deterred buyers from looking and buying. Since January 1, 2008, the number of residential sales and average days on the market is similar to the same period of 2006 and 2007. The average sales price is down a bit. However, the number of “in contracts” within the Cam Taylor Co. company is up which makes us think positive about the market. The Cam Taylor Co. Relocation group is also experiencing an abundance Read more:Estate

What are farmers doing in Worthington, Ohio? 2008-05-08 11:33:00 It is part of the unique traditions of this community, which was founded by a group of New Englanders in 1803 and is one of the oldest in Ohio
. Each Saturday morning from mid-May to mid-October, a Farmers Market is held, capturing the spirit of earlier days when farmers
brought their crops to market.
Worthington's present-day market lines the streets of downtown Old Worthington drawing each Saturday an estimated 5,000 people who are seeking produce grown locally and throughout Ohio.
The market features certified organic farmers and organically grown products, including vegetables, fruit, meats, free-range chickens and eggs, cheese and other dairy products. There are also cut flowers, herbs, large landscape plants, dried flowers and baked goods.

Great Commuter Suburbs near Columbus Ohio 2008-05-08 10:04:00 Hello, it's Judy Gray. We've got some great commuter suburbs near ColumbusOhio
and here's why they're great spots to consider when relocating to the area. Worthington, Dublin, and Powell are all easily accessible to all the good interstate highways and infrastructure in Columbus. They've got outstanding schools, they have great downtown communities with wonderful little boutique shops and restaurants, and all sorts of things to do for families, wonderful recreation centers where all your families can go and enjoy all kinds of different activities. My top-of-mind picks for 3 great places to live around Columbus are Worthington, Dublin and Powell.

Worthington, Ohio's "one of a kind" CVS... coming soon! 2008-05-09 17:49:00 You might find a CVS on every corner but in Worthington the new CVS under construction is one of a kind. Replacing the long standing local grocery store, this structure is fitting of the Olde Worthington aura.
The all brick traditional style with parking in the back will beautify the corner and should attract shoppers to the CVS as well as the additional space adjoining. It is rumored that there will be apartments upstairs which should attract young or old - anyone wanting to be where the action is in downtown Worthington. We are looking forward to welcoming our new CVS to the corner down the street.

New Restaurant Coming to Worthington, Ohio 2008-05-09 17:45:00 Here is the new restaurant being completed in Worthington. Jason Liu, a successful restaurateur in Dublin, is planning to open his Worthington location in July of 2008. The exterior is nearly complete and work seems to be going on around the clock. It looks like one of the more elaborate and probably most expensive ground up restaurants I have seen. The copper gutters and flashing accents the white trim and brick facing. Unique to the typical Worthington colonial architectural style is the big pineapple seen on the front of the building. My understanding is the pineapple is a welcome sign. If the food is as good as the Dublin shop this place will be very busy.
Worthington, Powell, Upper Arlington, Clintonville, Lewis Center and Westerville will probably be the sources of custome Read more:Ohio
