Mom, Paula McClary, shared some interesting facts about Anna:Anna was born Dec. 20, 2001 - sired by Bev's Bugsy Malone and Bev's Love Bug. Please - Neuter and Spay Your Pets 2008-04-10 11:38:00 As many of you know, I am a pug lover and I am also a professional pet sitter. I am amazed at the number of dogs I encounter - pugs and all breeds - that are not neutered or spayed. What's up with this??The three biggest reasons I hear for not neutering or spaying is:1. I can't afford it2. If I neuter my male dog, he won't be manly anymore.3. I didn't think anything could happen.Okay, where to begin: Neuter

PugSpeak's February Pug of the Month 2008-01-30 06:20:03 Meet Lucie of Lausanne, SwitzerlandWe first fell in love with the breed and decided to have our first pug after we met "Petit Louis," an adorable fawn boy who lived with an English couple in the Poitou region of France.We met contacts everywhere in England as we wanted a pug with the English Type. We found out it wasn't easy and that patience was the key word to be part of the pug family as they were very few good litters and the new owners chosen very carefully!Our patience was rewarded when we had the chance to have our little "Lucie": Donymoor Lucky in Love from Johna and Norma Knox in Spain and former famous boxer breeders. When the owners tried to register him, they were told it was too late to turn in the paperwork and he could not get registered to breed until the following year.So, he never was used for breeding purposes. The rescuer had Buster neutered and told me he was very needy, most likely because Buster was neglected his first year of life. He mostly lived in a cage and had no love and attention.
