Take that Madden Curse 2008-04-25 16:00:00 Today, EA Sports unvailed the cover athlete of the next NFL video game, Madden
09 which is also celebrating it's 20th years of Madden video games. EA Sports seems to have found a way to (hopefully) evade the Madden Curse. They are featuring the first ever retired player as the cover athlete of Madden 09, Brett Farve.As a joke, NFL commisioner Roger Goodell released this statement: "Due to EA games trying to evade the "myth" of the video game madden curse by putting retired quarterback Brett Favre on the cover, he is now ineligible to be voted in the pro football hall of fame."

Legendary Map Pack 2008-04-16 14:00:00 Halo 3 is one of the best games to play with your friends. Well, yesterday, Halo just got a little better, because Xbox Live released new downloadable content for the game which includes 3 new maps to play on. Maps are the life force of Halo multiplayer and it's always fun to get new maps. That's why Foundry on in the first DLC map pack for this game was so great because you could create endless maps to play on using the Forge game type.Okay, I think I've nerded out enough, time to find some friends and play some Halo 3. No title 2008-03-15 10:15:00 All this talk about South by Southwest I'm hearing this year makes me want to go next year. It's what Sundance used to be and so much more. Music, movies, internet, gaming, if you're a Gen X to Gen Y nerd of some sort then there is something at this festival for you.The passion and creativity in these artist shines through their craft whether they are musicians, filmmakers, web developers or whatever they do. It really shows. You can even see the passion in the fans and attendees of this festival.In short, SXSW just looks like fun and here's hoping that I can attend next year. Anyone else wanna go?
