Feeling Hyper 2008-04-24 05:00:22 Skies are gloomy with clouds threatening to open up drowning us. But I'm in high spirits!!! Yah, so I'm high in spirits what's the big deal? Big deal to me, cause I've not felt this way in months!I'll be heading for the Formula Drift show here in Singapore this coming Sunday with L. I've been so looking forward to this event ever since that morning L messaged to ask if I'll like to go with her. Just 2 more days and I'll be feasting my eyes. Julie has been feeding my temptations on cars the past few weeks with pictures taken at car shows she attended in the Philippines recently. Dengue & HFMD Scare 2008-04-21 22:17:22 The flu-bug still lingering in the air? My gal came down suddenly with fever last nite gaining her a day's worth of rest at home today. My entire body seems to sending signals to my brain telling me it's gonna fall apart pretty soon. Bodyaches and simply restless.The word fever triggers 2 words to me. HFMD & Dengue
!HFMD has been on the rise since the recent months with almost 1000 cases last week. With no specific treatment for hand, foot and mouth disease. Individual symptoms, such as fever, lameness and pain from the sores, may only be eased with the use of medication. I've enjoyed many happy moments via email and comments with her, filled with harmless teasing here and there. There was a period of time her home connection was down and she had no access to the internet. Then, I felt a sense of lost. Asking myself "I wonder how is she? Will she be back online soon?" It was around that time, I've realized how much I've enjoyed her company online, reading her very entertaining and educational posts. There's always something on her post that makes me smile,laugh and learn. She was the one that showed me how to read and write Roman Numerals. I'm Going Bra-Less... 2008-04-07 00:43:17 at least for the next couple of days. I wasn't called 'The Klutz from space' for nothing. Thinking I'm small in size together with my dysfunctional brain. I climbed onto the playground in attempt to take a shot of my kids inside the tube slide. *WHAM* I proved that the playground isn't a safe place at all. A freaking piece of metal rod gave me a kiss on my back leaving a some part of my flesh naked. The hit is directly on the area where my bra-strap on the back. Anything that touches it strives a yell from me instantly. No leaning against anything. Sleep is a CHORE!! I'm restricted to only 2 freaking positions to sleep. I'm on Work Strike... 2008-03-30 23:55:18 ........ from a particular school I'm working with. I told The Man about it and he went "huh"? What huh?!?!?! Tell me! Will you continue going to work if your pay has been delayed for 6 months and still counting? Sorry, but enough. Pay up and we'll return to teach, it irritates me further that from my understanding, this school charges a "high" price for their school fees. Together with my colleagues there are 4 of us teaching in this particular school which has a couple of branches around Singapore. I'm talking about not 1 to 1 classes but classes with at least 10 students in it per hour each session. Multiply by the calculator or I'll lend you my toes.Despite numerous billings invoices and reminders. I was telling V, he should add that each reminder letter is charged at $100 bucks! What
Weekend SnapShot #16 2008-03-30 05:59:10 With weather permitting we brought the kids to their favorite playground at Pasir Ris Beach.They both love this giant space-net!! Climb all the way to the top and slide down on a long slide. . Together with L, we went to and spent almost the entire day roasting ourselves under the hot sun. Withholding our 'spot' to catch the best view we could find along the barricades. We stood still for almost 4 hours at the same spot.The highlights of the day for me was..........getting a picture taken with Ivan Lim - Singapore's very own drifter!! :PWe're both currently roasted like turkeys with sun burns on our shoulders,neck,face and hands. Took tons of photos, but please excuse me while I only put up 3 of them now.
