At this point I was experimenting and I began to inject a manga element into my work, which started out heavily influenced by illustrators such as Brian Froud.Sadly, I was often told by mainstream editors that the work was "too cartoony." Beware of new QVC debit / credit card scam! 2007-03-30 16:13:00 A few days ago a small, unauthorized charge was put through on our Visa debit card. Supposedly this charge was from QVC, although we haven't purchased anything from them in several months. Suspicious, my wife called QVC and they confirmed that no, the charge wasn't from them and that we should contact our bank immediately.After doing a quick Google search, I found this link in which another blogger said something similar had happened to them a week or so ago.If you see a fishy charge from QVC on your statement, do not call the phone number they give you. Apparently they are just trying to get you to call and confirm that your credit
