Style Wars RIP Frosty Freeze and Tony Silver 2008-04-23 13:17:00 Old movies like Breakfast at Tiffany's, Easy Rider, and Saturday Night Fever are windows into the state of mind of its youth and the fashion of its time. Breakfast with its post-war 50's "let the good times roll" youthful possibility. Elegant, tailored, and timeless. While Easy Rider was a reaction against that sensibility. The hair was long and dirty. The fashion was ethnic, natural, free flowing. Saturday dealt with a changing community more so than dance. The site is maintained by the Darvis family from Pasadena, CA where they grow 6,000 lbs of produce a year on a pretty normal size lot. How is that even possible?
