England’s Lane
2008-04-14 07:06:17
This is where I spent much of 2004. I’d take baby pumpkin down after his sleep in the afternoon and we’d hang out for hours. If we sat near the counter, he’d make googly eyes at all the pretty young spanish girls that worked there! It’s also very close to Primrose Hill and was ideal [...]

Pumpkin’s Pics
2008-04-14 06:10:32
We’ve given pumpkin his very own camera and I am at times amused but also really impressed by some of his work. Some is just plain funny, some are amazing little compositions- they do not look like they’ve been taken by a four year old. Maybe he has his mum’s interest in design! I’ve been [...]

TeePee
2008-04-13 23:18:57
The kids just love their teepee. Mini booba loves to take his milk in there so he can lounge and drink. The big one wants us to build a loo annex onto the side.

My clever Pumpkin
2008-04-13 23:10:22
Just wanted to share how clever my pumpkin is. He made this beautiful ring, which he wants to sell in my etsy shop. He sits up next to me sometimes and makes things with paper and ribbon and textas and most importantly, “sticky take”.

Belsize Park and Primrose Hill
2008-04-13 07:48:19
I called my label BelsizeSquare for the little square at the end of our street in London that St Mark’s Anglican Church sat in the middle of, the most lovely little bluestone church with a little garden out the front surrounded by a bluestone wall. There were large trees bordering the grounds and people would [...]

My Craftwerk
2008-04-13 04:14:54
I started quilting just over a year ago when I decided that making a quilt for my son’s first birthday present was a wonderful handmade heirloom I could give him that really meant something (we’ve been through a lot together, he and I) and would hopefully draw a line under what had been a very [...]

2008-04-12 23:58:24
Here are some bassinet/ pram sized quilts I’ve been making for my etsy store. They will also be available at the November Mathilda’s Market Malvern Town Hall, where I’ll be holding my very first market stall. I’m very excited!

Cupcake Madness
2008-04-12 23:41:44
I have just spent all morning at a 6year old’s fairy party, which was madness. I spent all weekend baking, frosting, decorating, piping (you name it!) hot pink and bright green chocolate and vanilla cupcakes for her birthday cake. They looked sensational and most importantly, they tasted great too. My poor little pumpkin was so [...]

I’m very pleased with this doorstop I’ve made for my wonderful benefactoress Victoria. She gushes about my products so much, I kind of know if I’m onto a good thing. I guess you could call her my muse, because she inspires me so much!

Buttonmania
2008-04-25 20:42:05
Found a great shop over the week in the city- all buttons. Called Buttonmania, I can’t wait for the big sale they do a few times a year, when they turn all their stock out to the public; button heaven! I think buttons might be my new obsession…

Girl’s Weekend
2008-04-25 20:38:21
Last weekend had the most fab girlies mini break down to Point Lonsdale and Queenscliff. Had the most delicious dinner at Kelp and found some lovely, lovely shops. The festival of Mother’s Day
2008-05-17 01:38:48
Today was Mother’s Day morning tea at kinder. Some smarty pants had signed me up for cupcake duty- and having been in quarantine all last week with feared measles brewing in my two little petri dishes (not measles after all, I’m pleased to report) the first I knew of it was yesterday- aaaarrgh! Still am [...]

I can’t believe we missed all the action- so silly, watching a truly annoying Julie Delpy film instead! At least we can sit back and watch the voting……

Apple pie and sunshine.
2008-05-24 23:50:36
Had a crazy afternoom last Tuesday. Had pumpkin home from kinder sick (again- aaaaah! and it’s only the beginning of winter!) and so with no taxi duties to perform in the afternoon (picking up and dropping off small people) had a sudden wash of warm, housewifely, momsy good feeling wash over me and decided to [...]

More delectable goodies!
2008-07-08 08:11:56
More pressies today in the form of fabrics- yeeha! Wanna see?… And some more? Photographed some of my products today too, to see how they’d turn out for the store. Some more successful than others but there’s definitely a few I’ll find some use for.
