Oh, The Irony!
2008-04-10 21:30:57
April 9, 2008I have been hard pressed to use TTG all week. I guess that is how it must really work. Once you have TTG, you don't spill anything on your shirt. Well, that is sort of how it has worked out for me. Except for yesterday. I was running late for work so I jumped up, fed the dogs, got dressed, packed my lunch, and hurried off to work. When I sat down at my desk I realized that I had spilled something all down the front of my shirt. I'll call it the huge mystery blob.Needless to say, using TTG was out of the question because then my shirt would have been sopping wet from top to bottom. Instead, I hid in my office most of the day and when I had to go somewhere in the building I carried a file to cover the front of my shirt. I had to Shout it out when I got home (after I too

This One is A Wash
2008-04-10 21:29:22
Sometime during the night of April 7, 2008:It is spring time in Texas which means that the bugs are coming out in full force. And I am a scratcher. That is how I got blood on my shirt. I was asleep, my back itched and I scratched until it bled. Eeeew! Because I have this new TTG pen I was excited because TTG claims it gets out the blood. Here is the blood on my shirt... And now I've used TTGAnd then I could still see the blood after I scrubbed and scrubbed. But in all fairness it wasn't a fresh stain, so I will call this one a wash -- which is what I did with my shirt after I sprayed the stains with Shout.tags: Tide Tide To Go Blood Stain Shout

Pineapple Takes On Tide to Go
2008-04-07 18:27:36
Anyone that knows me, knows that I am constantly a mess. I spill something on myself almost every day. If I haven't spilled something on myself, I have managed to pick up a mystery stain during the course of the day. The week before last I was eating my lunch at my desk. When I opened my salad, the salad dressing spewed all over my shirt. This is typical procedure in the World of Pineapple. What was unusual was that a co-worker offered her Tide to Go pen to get the stain off. Well, I gave it my best shot but it didn't come off. Then last week when I was working in Memphis, I looked down and realized that I had acquired some sort of mystery smudge across the bottom of my shirt. Another co-worker had a Tide to Go pen with her and offered it to me. I scrubbed and scrubbed, and whate

So what is up with this Tide to Go thing?

First of all, I have got to shorten the name to TTG because if I keep this up, I am going to get really tired of typing out "Tide to Go" over and over and over and over again. One thing I noticed is that TTG claims it removes most fresh stains. Well, we will see about that. As of the time of this writing, TTG has not removed fresh salad dressing and fresh mystery black mark. There is a tiny disclaimer that it does not work well on greasy stains. They also recommend that if TTG does not get your stain out, that you should use Tide detergent to pre-treat your stain before washing. If you want to read more about TTG, you can click here to go to their website. Not to point out the obvious, but if one Tide product doesn't work why would you rely on another one to pick up the slack? I'm

TTG vs. Breakfast Tacos
2008-04-13 21:01:33
This morning I fried up some potatoes and scrambled eggs. Yummy! Breakfast tacos. Well, in my sleepy stupor I managed to splatter some olive oil on my shirt. Well, I think we all know that TTG doesn't get that out. And continuing on in my sloppiness, I also got some eggs and hot sauce on my shirt. After I ate I decided to put the eggs to the test and to document my experiment. Laverne was very interested in what was on my shirt. After she sniffed it out, she decided my dirty shirt would be a great place to take a nap.I was able to take a picture of the spots only after I shoved Laverne off of my shirt. She was serious about napping on my shirt! Then the TTG went into action. I did a pretty good job with the egg, but as expected not so much with the olive oil.The score is now Pinea
