Help Microsoft do charity
1970-01-01 00:59:59
I am searching some ways of doing free donation and I found this.Microsoft is doing charity with its Live Search. Every time you do a Search at Click 4 the Cause, Microsoft will donate to ninemillion.org, a UN agency-led campaign providing education and sports programs for the nine million refugee youth around the world. You don't need to pay to help, just do your search and Microsoft will donate to the nine million poor children refugees. For those who wanted to do a good cause everyday, start now as the programme will end on 31st of March 2007.Those children refugees out there does not have the chance to get proper education and basic needs. They need your help and the easiest way you can help them now is by doing what you all do best, that is do your search at ninemillion.org Live Search...I know many out there are hard core Google fans but try to abandon it for just a period of time. By doing the search at Live Search now, you might help many talented kids but with no chance of get

Frustrated with Internet Explorer
1970-01-01 00:59:59
I accidentally open my blog today and saw another problem with it, which I will not see it if I access it with FireFox. When I open my blog with Internet Explorer , my blog appears to ba as the image below:My right sidebar went directly down to the bottom which I don't really like because the right sidebar is all mainly about myself and act as a info bar for users. As this kind of things happen oftenly in Internet Explorer and I always tried to troubleshoot it, it still will happen one day and I am too frustrated to fix it already. With the launch of Vista tommorrow at Malaysia, I think Microsoft should really brush up its browser's capability of reading HTML well. With this kind of incident happening, I am now recommending FireFox to all web readers and especially blog readers. I am doing this without getting any profit from FireFox or Google, just that with FireFox, many blogs do have a better interface.I've added a link to DOWNLOAD FIFEFOX link at the top of my blog so guys, use the

Funny conversation in US Courtroom
1970-01-01 00:59:59
I am blog reading and I came across this article. I decided to share it with you guys. Laugh aloud but this is really happening in the US courtroom. I wonder sometimes lawyer and attorney that have great knowledge can make funny blunders in the room and the judge will end up holding his tummy and laugh....Enjoy...These are from a book called Disorder in the American Courts, and are things people actually said in court, word for word, taken down and now published by court reporters who had the torment of staying calm while these exchanges were actually taking place.ATTORNEY: Are you sexually active?WITNESS: No, I just lie there.ATTORNEY: What is your date of birth?WITNESS: July 18th.ATTORNEY: What year?WITNESS: Every year.ATTORNEY: What gear were you in at the moment of the impact?WITNESS: Gucci sweats and Reeboks.ATTORNEY: This myasthenia gravis, does it affect your memory at all?WITNESS: Yes.ATTORNEY: And in what ways does it affect your memory?WITNESS: I forget.ATTORNEY: You forget?

Anger: Thin line between motivator or destroyer
1970-01-01 00:59:59
We can't deny that today's modern life is full of stress and pressure that will lead to frustration and the main theme that I am centering today, anger. I may not be a psychologist to write about this but as usual I will convey about it MY WAY.Anger often sneaks into a person without being noticed. Failure to do something, low self esteem or simply to get attention may lead to anger. We often say that a people with patience will have good anger management but I doubt it, mainly because anger can be mounted and once it reaches it's limit, it will erupt vigorously, meaning that it will be scarier...My context is saying that people that can turn anger into action is those with good anger management. This might be justified wrongly since the 'action' I meant may be those negative and violence behaviour. Yes, it is true that action that turned out from anger are mostly violent because many does that. Why not start having a different mind set today? Turn your anger into motivator, a spri

Have your say on New 7 Wonders
1970-01-01 00:59:59
The debate is kind of hot in these few weeks about the new 7 wonders of the world that have been carried out because of the disappearance of 6 of the current wonders of the world. I went to the site a decided to quote it the infomation for you about all the nominated buildings or structures.1. The Acropolis of AthensBuilt atop what is known as the "Sacred Rock" of Athens, the Acropolis was to radiate power and protection for its citizens.2. AlhambraMohammed I, the first king of the Nasriden - a Moorish dynasty in Granada - converted a 9th-century castle into his private royal residence, and it is this which we now know as the Alhambra.3. AngkorAngkor is the most important monument of the south-east Asian Khmer Empire and the world's largest sacred temple.4. The Pyramid at Chichén ItzáChichén Itzá, the most famous Mayan temple city, served as the political and economic center of the Mayan civilization.5. Vista Wonder
1970-01-01 00:59:59
I don't know why these kind of great graphics always captivates me. I was digging and I found this, a gallery showing all the graphics that you can find in the newly-born Windows Vista . The site Engadget have tech galleries which you can find all sorts of tech-related pictures and images. In the Vista Gallery, I found these amazing screenshots of Windows Vista. Here I show you some of the Vista graphics that I liked the most. After I saw the graphics, I am thinking of how great it will be to have Windows Vista as my OS. It's so cool and the features are the most interesting for me. There are maybe tonnes and tonnes of critics about it but for me, it is still the best OS to come.

Will be home earlier
1970-01-01 00:59:59
I got the news that 16th of February will be the holiday for me! It's such a great week as I mentioned earlier in my post. This means I can get home earlier to meet with all my friends and families. I have so much stories to tell...Came a long way here, found myself settled well here and I'm going home in less than two weeks time, so cool! I hope all those that meet me won't be fed up with all my stories or the changing of my personality. There only might be two outcomes this Chinese New Year. One, speak a lot about my college life and all those funs and hates during it. Secondly is a little possible too because I always take time to adapt to a changing situation so you guys can expect silence for a few days before I can behave as usual.Anyway, I am looking forward to it though. Hopefully it will be a wonderful and prosperous Chinese New Year for everyone.

Changing personality
1970-01-01 00:59:59
I think since I arrived at Sunway University College, my personality had changed, from being extrovert in high school, becoming an introvert here. I did a personality test just now and below is the results. You Are 20% Extrovert, 80% IntrovertYou are quite reservedYou aren't afraid of social situations...But you very much prefer to go it aloneAnd why not? You're your own best friend! The test is provided by Blogthings - Are You An Extrovert or An Introvert? I know some question in there that I've answered will have a different answer if I did the test a few years back.Maybe it is the environment or maybe it is just the sense of alert in me... I don't know if I am wrong but I enjoy reading, online and blogging more here.In class, I got six or seven friends only and among them also I don't chat very much. I think my best friend here is my classmate that sits beside me and my room-mate amd one of my housemate which we went out to eat together frequently.Even though it's not like those

Blog going on revamp
1970-01-01 00:59:59
I should have done this by now but I haven't since I am very busy with my studies and all that stuffs that prevent me from blogging frequently.Close blog affiliates of mine should have know that these few days I've started a forum. Actually, I planned to move my attention to managing a forum and leave my blog in the freezer but I stopped. I came back to blogging since I am not good enough to leave my efforts here.Starting a new thing is always hard and it is the same with the forum but when you already get things rolling like this blog of mine, you'll are a little bit carefree and relaxed while doing the particular thing.I decided to set a target for my blog and will go all out to make it better. I don't blog about specific themes as I only post things I like or you could say I LIKE MY WAY!Maybe I will try to improve my blog's Alexa ranking, Google PR and bring in more visitors. Guys, there is more from Simple Life of YP so just wait.Blog readers, if you guys have any suggestion o

Beckham commercial life - love it!
1970-01-01 00:59:59
I haven't been that busy in the morning since I came here for my studies. The ATM machine at the cafeteria was spoiled and I eventually took a cab ride to the bank and end up strolling at the Sunway Pyramid. As I am strolling, I saw this banner which I later download from CBBC Newsround to place it here.He is surely a well-rounded commercial star, from football-associated ads to now Disney ads. I think he has a great personality, after being pushed here and there by football clubs, he still able to stand up and live his life. Fans still love him and he is always in the heart of some Manchester United fans, although only some said that only Ruud van Nistelrooy will miss him. Here's a interview of his thoughts on taking up the ads.He is cool talking about his life when he was a kid. It's not just playing football in footballer's teenage years! Hehe. The Disney commercial I previous love is the video below but it's not a ads, just a Disney song. Share it with you guys then.Credits to Y

Effort rewarded
1970-01-01 00:59:59
I got a surprise at the start of the week by having granted a PR3 by Google. It was a great surprise for me because I have not been expecting this. My blog is nothing compared to all those blogs with specified themes and a personal blog usually can't achieve success easily. Here's my stat on some most used site ranking:Google: PR3Alexa: 2, 296, 601Technorati: 83017 (66 links from 43 blogs)The detailed stats is at the left sidebar of my blog. I know this is not something to be highlighted since there are a whole bunch of bloggers out there better than me but I make this my personal achivement, not to compete with others, just to set a target for a better me.I blog because of self satisfaction and this already gave me a lot of that. Many friends of mine envy what have I did with my blog, including the template, affiliates and at last, squeezing money out of it. I told them it takes a lot of patience and ezpecially when you start from scratch, with no knowledge in HTML, SEO, begging for

Stacking in my college life
1970-01-01 00:59:59
After a few days of flying high above the skies, seeking inspiration for new materials to blog, I decided to blog about me myself today. It's been a month in college now and messages that sound caring started to come in from my old pals. I knew that the time when I left was in a hurry, just after my KL vacation if I'm not wrong and I even don't have the chance to say a single goodbye to each of everyone of you. Sorry for that...My studies are still at par at the moment, at least I am satisfied with it. I get a consequtive 90 marks in my Accounting Transaction paper in my last last Progress Test and the Class Test yesterday and I am delighted with it. It may sound big headed to some but the feeling just came in somehow and maybe the fact that I have no accounting base spices all the things up.For my college life, I have many stories to tell and of course I am eager to splurt it all out. There's a variety of people here, which I've encountered and interact with. Some I may still lef

Act like adults sometimes negative too
1970-01-01 00:59:59
A few days back, my class was having some sort of 'political' stir. Why it started is too long to pen out and it is not my writing theme today. The stir causes defamation and I can say it was full of heart-throbbing words. The condition during class was tense and it reached our lecturers as well. The 'cold war' lasted for only two days and a simple phrase solved it, "Act like an adult". I don't know whether is that teenagers nowadays wanted to become mature quickly or what but to me, sometimes adults don't act like an adult, or should I say immature and these are happening at global level as well.In Taiwan, government meetings are often shadowed by heart-piercing words and sometimes even worse, they fight and cause riot inside the meeting place. Those involved are not only adults, they are well-educated professionals as well. If negotiation fails, barbarous punches and chair throwing will come in. Is this civilised or mature adult's act?On the football or soccer pitch, the best e

Pos Malaysia Problem
1970-01-01 00:59:59
The news I wanted to bring into highlight today is this: Pos Malaysia Aims To Cut Mail Delivery To Three Days by Bernama Malaysia. In the news, Pos Malaysia's Chief Executive Director said that they are always monitoring places all around Malaysia of places with slow postal services and constantly trying to improve their services. They services has improved over the years as in a survey done by an UNKNOWN third party, they got a rating of3.8 out of 5 compare to the previous 2.6.I have some a couple of bad experience with Pos Malaysia that causes me to have bad impression on them. First of all is a mail of documents sending out by me to Petaling Jaya. The mail did arrive to my desired recipient but after a month's time! Another case of mine with Pos Malaysia is still commencing now. A mail from my Japanese pals, which was forwarded by my family to Sunway College in late January 2007, haven't been received by me, even now after I've arrived home. If it is not in my hostel mail box af

Chinese New Year changes
1970-01-01 00:59:59
I don't know what had happened to make me say this but things turned out to be a little to quiet for me this Chinese New Year. What I've expected seems just vanished and things just have gone the other way. It is boring and dull but I can now look forward to my college life as I discovered that many will be going to Subang Jaya or Kuala Lumpur to further their studies.I visited a lot of houses this year as usual but the things I do is always the same... Small bets, enjoying my new I-Pod, chat about out future education and online at home. I can say I am doing the same thing over and over again. Well, I do see people have changed, in the way that they treat me. Some to my amaze are more caring but some I think their heart are starting to depart, not here anymore but somewhere else...maybe a more pleasant and serene place for them.People have changed in the short two or three months and I can accept it as things always change without being noticed. I can't accept changes before I went

Going back to college
1970-01-01 00:59:59
It's not even a week long holiday and I am going back to experience college life again tomorrow. I think it will be the same old college life but maybe this time, tiny sparks will come by with the two new gadgets I am going to bring there. My new I-Pod Nano 4GB and a Canon A540 Digital Camera. The only thing that I thought I would have bring before coming for this holiday is a notebook. After a few ponders, I found that I don't really need a notebook there...for now. I have a modern computer lab at my college and it closes at 9pm, which is the best time for me to study. If I brought a notebook there and without the limitation of use by my parents, I will be on my internet addiction until late night, my studies will go down as well.I don't know how my life will change back there but as always, I hope it will be better. The Mock Exam is rolling in and the Actual Exam is also around the corner so study hard is one thing that I can't run away from back there since I don't really revise

Walk off trend in football
1970-01-01 00:59:59
I've just arrived at college and started to read about those analysis of the Lille vs Manchester United match in the UEFA Champions League. The match contains a lot of chaos moments and one of the worse moments in European football.Lille players actually attempted a walk out after Ryan Giggs scored a controversial free kick and one of the staff of the Lille Football Club is the main man behind all this as it was shown in the video below. As we know, Lille's team of staffs and players were frustrated because of their disallowed goal because of a push by Odemwingie on Nemanja Vidic but one must be able to control his/her emotions, especially in the big stage of UEFA Champions League. The incident is much alike to the incident happened in ASEAN Championship a few weeks back. The Thais, which were frustrated of the decision of awarding a penalty to the Singapore Team, stage a 15 minute walk out in the match and only returned after the ASEAN Football top officials offer consent to the matt

Greetings from Japan
1970-01-01 00:59:59
In my previous post, Pos Malaysia problem, I stated there that I was waiting for a mail which was from Japan and being forwarded to my Sunway hostel. Luckily it arrives, if not, I'll be terribly disappointed with Pos Malaysia.I really wanted this letter to reach me as soon as possible as this friend of mine is really... well, I can say a true friend and cute too... Just look at what she sent me, only an pen pal to her. The small cute letter contains two Japanese rough paper, a profile card for me to fill out and guess what, a Japanese evening tea. I think I will will enjoy the tea sometime but not now because the packaging is so cute...She is cute and I think she has a pure personality. Just imagine someone sending you a mail with a Disney cartoon envelope! She really took this friendship seriously and I can see it from his contents in the letter. I never thought a foreign pen pal relationship will be this long-lasting. We have been in contact with e-mail and snail mail over the last

Chocolates good for brain!
1970-01-01 00:59:59
The Valentines Day just passed and I am sure couples out there may have enjoyed some chocolate treats out there. As usual, I spent my time reading the news online and came across this great finding, Some sweet news: Chocolate could be good for your memory. It is a great finding no doubt since many control our appetite on chocolates as it was always linked with diseases like diabetes, dental problems and high blood pressure. We always think twice whenever we wanted to have a bite on these sweeties. We have another reason to eat chocolates now, besides improving romantic love relationships. Chocolates are said to be have the benefits for your brain, such as improving the coordination of your reaction, enhance your memory power and reduce the risk of getting stroke or brain cancer.Although this research is much said to be real and of course I would love this research to be truthful, we must continue to control our diet of chocolates as they still contains sugar that will cause diabetes and

Home sweet home
1970-01-01 00:59:59
Well, I am now blogging from my home, not the college and I am celebrating Chinese New Year! Look at what I've got for my New Year! It's an Ipod Nano 4GB, can you believe it? I myself also don't believe it since I am not expecting this. I only thought of a Sony E-Series when I am in college as I have said in 'Seeking entertainment'.It's been a tough way back home. The car's air conditioning system broke halfway and and jam just made things worse. I have to go through a damp and hot 6 hours journey. I can't even stand properly when I get down from the car. It's worth it though because seeing all my families and I'll be visiting my old pals tonight as well. The feeling of refreshing memories and lecturing my stories is so wonderful and I can't stop talking as well...I may not blog so often these few days because of my Ipod and all the visiting activities that I've planned. Spending time with them is important for me as I may not be around for a long time for a long time to come

Funny keyboards
1970-01-01 00:59:59
Ever wonder how keyboards can be other than a long rectangular or some of those curvy ones you see in today's shops?I found these few cool special keyboard images from funniest-pictures: Funny keyboards. This is an escape route when your PC just not responding or lagging. What surprise me is that Microsoft manufactures this. I wonder this is because Microsoft's software always having problems? This is really disgusting and I will surely don't want the keyboard I used to be end up like this... It's so matched with all the ashes and smaoke around... Yucks! Well, I don't know how am I going to type with this and and don't know what is it's purpose as well. For those with curvy hands? Maybe...This is for playing games but I'm not sure what games... Maybe some shooting game like aircraft simulation or Counter Strike? Just another funny keyboard...I am still out of ideas in writing new articles since my last article was being commented so badly and I decided to actually know more befor

Feeling the pressure to blog better
1970-01-01 00:59:59
After getting a Google PR3, an increase in both Alexa and Technorati, a sense to blog better arises from within me. I started to have the desire not only to maintain those rankings but to increase it. It will be much more difficult compared to the last time as competition is always tougher when the stage goes higher.I released my own article, Being an adult sometimes negative too, to a judging community of Lowyat.net forum. I found out that what I wrote has not only failed in terms of quality but also my writing style, which will not be accepted by the public and also my limited knowledge. I received tonnes of criticism, some are harsh, some are truthful and I can't really deny the mistakes they've pointed out and I appreciate their effort to read my crap.Hence, to improve it, I'll read more in politics and social happenings as both of this is my weak point, compared to business and football. I'll need to broader my knowledge to more fact trees like technologies and economics. It'

Football laughs
1970-01-01 00:59:59
For those who loves soccer or football out there, the photos below is so funny. It's just that the photos itself contain some funny elements in it and that's why I want to share with you all here. This is the famous Ronaldinho as everyone knows. Well, this captain tackles him. Instead of being airborne, the unpredictable Ronaldinho eventually predicted this move and fly up to give the opponents the taste of World Football er of the Year's boots (Ronaldinho's Self-made Nike Boots as you know). He is lucky.... Cheers! Here comes the famous David Beckham. Well, I think all those hard core football fans why this picture is funny. I don't know why Beckham is publiciting this book, Penalty taking for Dummies. Maybe he himself wanted to read it to improve his skill or he is trying to blame the book by teaching him to miss the target when facing Portugal during Euro 2004...This is David Beckham again but he is in training and receiving some tips from England rugby player, Johnny Wilkinson. Malaysia's Constitution for Iraq
1970-01-01 00:59:59
I came across this news, Iraq may adopt Malaysia 's Constitution . Well, it's a good news for me as a Malaysian as we, as a multi-racial nation, is always being admired by many countries out there on how we live together with that much tolerance and care among races.Malaysia is formed of three major races, Malays, Chinese and Indians. Also, in our country, we have some other races like Ibanese, Kadazan and many more. Iraq have more or like the same race structure as us, they the Kurdish in the north centered on Arbil, Sunni Islamic Arabs in the center around Baghdad, Shi'a Islamic Arabs in the south centered on Basra, the Assyrians, a Christian people, living in various cities in the north, and the Marsh Arabs, a nomadic people, who live on the marshlands of the central river.Well, Malaysia have been progressing by leaps and bounds, even we have some different cultures and beliefs in this country. It all thanks to the constitution and tolerance among people here. I know we are not in

Take the challenge
1970-01-01 00:59:59
There are uncountable challenges in our life but in reality, there are some that we chose to avoid, maybe by ignoring it or give up halfway from getting the job done. They are not people with low self-esteem, as least we can't see that from their attitude but maybe some bad experience made them phobic to certain challenges in life. Why run away from such things? The outcome is always different when the sane event comes by. Why not take it as another chance given to you to redeem yourself? The last time you've got your lesson and this time, with all your experience and knowledge from the failure last time might bring you success. You may have done better because of your failure.I know some out there might have been pissed off by my opinion here because they have gone through that much pain and sorrow that I've never even touched but isn't it every chance is worth a try? You don't lose anything when you fail, you only grew stronger, injected with much more experience, all you need is

I didn't blog yesterday because I was preparing my first ever VIDEOBLOG! Boo... Stupid thing that I've done but I think it worth a try though... For all out there who would like to see the real me, the play the video below but don't expect to see a handsome guy though...For those with slow connection or feel the video don't deserve a watch, the video is just about the recent me and of course, it's my I-Pod cover first appearance on this blog. Lesser facts but more thoughts... Enjoy the video, spit and praise in the comment area PLEASE....

Telco race on last day of CNY
2007-03-05 11:04:00
The Chinese New Year ended yesterday and it ended as 'boring' for me, exactly same during the start. I am stranded in my hostel room, tuning into my I-Pod and reading newspaper. It's really a boring afternoon for me and I browsed through all those funky adverts and the ads of my country's three most popular telco or mobile networks caught me the most. These three are really in a stiff competition in this small country. I personally use both Digi and Maxis because of different groups of friends using different networks.First, let me post all those ads overview I saw on The Star newspaper here first. You guys have seen it before? Well, let me compare them one by one with the effort they put in their ads and their offers to celebrate the very LAST day of Chinese New Year!First of all, the yellow Digi ads. The colour in it really do made the ads stand out. Notice that beside those 7 yellow Chinese dragons, in came two lions with different colours, representing numbers from other telecom

Becoming an Otaku?
2007-03-07 12:15:00
Lately I've been caught up with a anime craze on YouTube of course. As the college life is sometimes over-boring for me in the computer lab, I now find my way to stick to the swivel chair and watch anime. I started to know why people are so stuck to it as there are always some laugh points in the show.Well, when I was at home and after the introduction of Astro's Animax, I only watched Dragonball and the football related Captain Tsubasa. I enjoyed it but I thought of despatching it from my mind as I know my chance to have a television set in the hostel is impossible. I started to watch football highlights on YouTube but now, I've found what I really want. For movies, I actually started with all those Chinese dramas with all those idols in it but I find it too time consuming for me to finish up an episode and sometimes the storyline is a bit too 'dragging' for me. My favourite movie by then is the Smiling Pasta (watched 3 times in total). If I have more time, I sure will sit down an

My preview of 300
2007-03-09 11:37:00
It's a bit late to write a personal review for the movie I watched yesterday, 300. I knew it's a bad timing to watch a movie three days before my external CAT examination but it is actually a reward after studying for a long 10 hours yesterday. The movie is about the Spartans battling the stubborn Persian Empire which I've studied in my high school History syllabus. It started with a violence setting but you really feel the andrealine rushing in your body as the show proceeds. It's about battle, battle and battle with the evil Persian ruler, Xerxus, who proclaimed himself as the king of the kings and the God of Gods (lame title). What I loved most is the battle scenes, it is so real and make sure yourself is ready for some blood-gushing moments and head chopping in slow motion.I don't know who are all those actors and actresses...completely! Maybe it's really difficult to find so many people with muscular body and eight packs. The storyline itself is full of surprises. Who would t

Bad SPM result day...

I went back, all the way from KL to collect my 'O' Levels'/SPM result here but end up getting a disappointing C5 grade for my Biology paper. I knew my science-based paper will not be good but I never thought of a C5!I don't have my camera with me so I can't gave you all a peek of the result slip but the below is my following result:Malay Language (National Language): A1English Language: A1Mathematics: A1Additional Mathematics: A2Moral Education: A2Chemistry: A2History: A2Chinese Language: A2English in Science and Technology: A2Physics: B3Biology: C5Well, these results don't matter me that much as I am already enrolling in Certified Accounting Technician at my college, only that I can't get more tuition fees exemption.Anyway, the examination of my life doesn't matter most after all... What matters most for me now is that I want to pass or better still, score in all my CAT and ACCA papers... When I go back to KL tomorrow, it will be a brand new beginning for my intermediate level
