On Saturday (I know, I need to start posting ON the day that stuff happens instead of procrastinating to post stuff :X! But hey, better late than never.) there was an award ceremony for the Vietnamese Student Associations from FCHS (represent!) and JSHS. Of course as president, I had to be present. We just met up at this Dim Sum place, listen to speeches, etc, etc, then eat :D. We received a plaque which Elizabeth, the super Vice President is modeling~She is adorable isn't she? AND! She's single! So just to let all you adorable Asian guys out there know ;D. So last Saturday night, the "crew" and I went to camp out at the Gamestop at Tysons Corner to wait for Smash Brothers Brawl. I don't know why we were there because no one bought a prepaid thing (Leo did, but he bought it online so they sent it to his house). Leo wanted to participate in the tournament but the stupid manager never told him that we had to sign up before hand. What is that? Last Friday was Falls Church High School's Heritage Night :). My group did a martial arts portion. I'm the girl in the middle with the ugly stance (I didn't know my knee was bent x_x;; Those capris are too tight anyways!). GUNG HAY FAT CHOI. About a few days too late. Sorry for late of updates, I haven't died, just been ooberly busy :). But first things first. How did I spend my New Year's Eve? No, I didn't go to the temple (my first time in like my whole life?) unfortunately, but we had a small party on Wednesday night at my cousins' house until like 1:30AM. On Saturday, it was Leo and I's Eight month anniversary. Eight months! Am I for real? Yes, I am. So what did we do? After I got back from my orthodontist appointment, we spent the morning going to Barnside Diner, which has OKAY food, but horrible eggs. The cheese omelete sucked, my scrambled eggs sucked, and my toast sucked. I only like their hash browns. After that, we went back to my house and slept for three hours and then we each read our own books for two hours. At 6:30ish, we decide to go to H Mart to grocery shop for my secret dish that I promised to cook for Leo :). So yesterday my boyfriend, Le♥, and I made some orange chicken for my dad as a late birthday present :). I found a recipe online HERE that is the supposedly the same recipe that Panda Express uses. It came out DELICIOUS and was totally worth all of that rigorous work. Did you know that most orange chicken doesn't even have any orange in it except zest? Yep, all of that taste and smell that you love so much is actually white vinegar. Yum. Anyways, we didn't have some of the items so we skipped it :D. We also marinated, soaked, and poured orange juice into the chicken and the sauce because my dad squeezed a whole two cups for us. MMMM~ However, it was barely tasted :(. So this morning I was looking through my free issue of Nylon Magazine
(there was a promo going on in December at urbanoutfitters.com for a free subscription to it) and a lot of things caught my eye. This is a magazine based in London (?) and has a plethora of street fashion pictures in it. Will it ever replace my love for Japanese street fashion? Never! Since yesterday was my first day back at working at Aero, I decided to splurge on clothes since they got new stuff while I was gone. It seems working at the mall makes me spend more money than make money :(. But its okay, shopping is a favorite pastime. Leo, on the other hand, was tired from 3.5 hours of work and wanted to go home :X. Mai is a very lazy blogger. Vincent told me that he only reads part of my blog then skims because I only blog once in a while with a LONG blog. Well, I guess I'll try to do less of that :X. Hey. Its been a while. About a month to be precise. I've been really busy with a lot of things, and here's why:Victor's birthday. Doesn't he look SOO happy being [no-]homo with Leo? We took him to Red Robin, paid for him, AND bought him a game. In the end, he asked us why we didn't get him another specific game. FREELOADERS SHOULDN'T BE ALLOWED TO DO THAT > :O!!This is my puppy, or should I say, the family's puppy. His name is Oreo, but Leo and I call him Clover because its cuter. He loves me the most :). YOU MAY THINK HE'S UGLY, but he's the cutest dog EVER. And not only that, not many people have this breed. He's a black&tan coonhound which are used for hunting. I'm not going to train him to hunt though because I don't like hunting :D. He will be trained to be a good dog. Very weird
