Your BlackBerry allows you to select which folders you want to have messages sync from your mail client (e.g. Outlook).From the Message List Application, go to Options --> Email Settings and click the track-wheel to bring up the menu. You should see an option for "Folder Redirection"Selecting "Folder Redirection" allows you to select which folders you want to sync to your handheld.

From the Message List, you can clean up old emails, by choosing Delete Prior from the menu. This will only delete messages on the handheld, regardless of the email reconciliation settings you specify.So if you want to delete a large number of emails from both your mail client and your handheld, it's easiest to do that from the mail client (e.g. Outlook)
