Moses or Christ? Paul's Reply to Dispensational Error 2008-03-09 13:32:00 by Charles D. AlexanderHe who would understand the prophets had better begin with Paul's Epistle to the Galatians, where he will find that the Church is one in the Old Testament and New, and the New Testament Church is the fulfillment of all prophecy, the very last phase of God's redemptive work on earth. He will discover in Galatians who the true Israel is, to whom the promises are made and that there is no other Israel, and no further fulfillment of prophecy. The problem of the Galatian believers was the conspiracy to impose upon them Jewish interpretations of prophecy, and to claim over them a Jewish priority or privilege. Paul repulses this conspiracy with unparalleled severity. On this question it was "Paul contra mundum" (Paul against the world) as later it was to be, on another vital q Read more:Christ
Cliches 101: There's No Perfect Church 2008-03-09 06:01:00 I OFTEN RECEIVE THIS PARTICULAR RESPONSE, WHEN POINTING OUT ERRORS WITHIN A GIVEN DENOMINATION.The first problem with this statement is that in nature, it is absolute. To make such an absolute statement, you would have had to examine, at least, every known Church
denomination in the world. The question then is: "Have you visited every Church in the world?" "Have you even examine every Church in your village?" Most likely, not. Then how can anyone, with so much certainty, say, "There's no perfect Church"?But let's consider for a moment that, indeed, "there is no perfect Church".We may NEVER use our imperfection as an excuse (or license) to continue in sin or immorality."What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid." (Rom. 6v1-2a, AKJV, p.500)"What then? Read more:Cliches

Roman Catholic Heresies 2008-03-06 16:29:00 THE VICAR OF CHRIST THE POPE is referred to as “Holy Father”, acting on behalf of God. As Mel Gibson once stated, when the Pope speaks from “the chair” it is the voice of God. The Pope also bears the title “Vicar of Christ”. Vicar meaning “substitute”. The Pope claims to be “the substitute of Jesus Christ.” Jesus Christ is the “head of the Church” (Eph. 5v23) - therefore the Catholic
Catechism states: “For the Roman
Pontiff, by reason of his office as Vicar of Christ and as pastor of the entire Church has full, supreme, and universal power over the whole Church, a power which he can always exercise unhindered.” [1] Matthew chapter 23 verse 9 quickly demolishes the “Holy Father Read more:Roman Catholic
Why do people stick to 'Christian Cults'? 2008-03-06 12:23:00 Before I answer that question, let me say this: No-one trapped in a cult, ever believes they are trapped in a cult. The sad reality is that few, if any, will ever accept any accusation pertaining to their own.PERSONAL TESTIMONYI share these examples, to my own detriment, so that you may know and understand where I'm coming from.De Deur Evangeliegemeente PaarlI remember joining a group known as The Door (De Deur Evangeliegemeente Paarl, South Africa) in 1996, when I was only 18 years old. White Witch's Spell in Clergy Comes to an End 2008-03-29 17:31:00 I noticed an article in the Evening Post, entitled WhiteWitch
's Spell in Clergy Comes to an End. A clergyman has spoken of his decision to resign as a Church of England priest after concerns were raised about him training to become a white witch. The Rev Chris Horseman agreed to resign his licence to officiate at church services as an Anglican priest following a meeting on Wednesday with the Bishop of Bath and Wells, the Rt Rev Peter Price. The decision will mean that Mr Horseman will no longer be able to conduct services in any C of E church. The Evening Post revealed in December how the 53-year-old, who ordained as a priest with the Church of England in 1982, was training online with the College of Sacred Mists in California. Mr Horseman said: "I am saddened but not surp

The only former government head to be a churchman was Dr D F Malan, the first prime minister when the National Party came to power in 1948. The difference is that Malan studied for many years to be a dominee, whereas Zuma became a minister of the independent charismatic churches overnight, without having to study the Ten Commandments, and that sort of stuff.
