Comment on Random tip #1 by Trail Running 2008-03-17 10:49:17 Yeah, when I used to workout (or if i run these days) I will try to eat over an hour before doing anything. It just makes you feel a lot heavier and sluggish when you have just eaten. And it puts in my mind that all the calories that I am burning is from what I just ate, which seems like a waste to me. Comment on About by Rex Dixon 2008-03-16 10:59:11 I’m doing a promotion project for a company that does GPS clothing. Right now - running shoes mainly. I’d like it if you could do a write up on the product line. Also, they have some exciting news coming out this week that we’d love you to be part of, let me know if this interests you and I can provide you more information.

Comment on Push Yourself Like Your Life Depends on It by tej fearless blog 2008-03-10 21:01:45 Enjoyed your post.
The saddest part about your observation is that many folks live "hanging out" rather than "working out" not just in the gym but in other areas of their lives. Unfortunately, the clock ticks away and not much is accomplished. I always say "Use Your Time Wisely" but some refuse to listen. Michael Jordan, Lance Armstrong, Serena Williams, Tiger Woods and Hishiro Suzuki did NOT get to the top by "hanging out" did they? Read more:Comment

Comment on Are You Explosive: Functional Strength Explained by Kathleen 2008-03-08 21:30:32 Great article. That certainly explains a lot about those engaged in Martial Arts, doesn't it? I think health and being really mobile is very appealing. Now I'll go practice my running and jumping. I also think mixing it up is absolutely great advice - it also halts any chance of boredom when you add variety.
Thanks again.

Comment on Respect Yourself by The Fearless Blog 2008-03-07 08:36:09 Great piece. Oh, so true so true.
Wonderfully optimistic way of living a life of greatness.
Your message echos many of my own thoughts and beliefs, and after years of teaching "positive thinking and positive behavior" I have begun to see the clear results. The more people spreading the message, the better it will be for those around us. :) Read more:Comment

Comment on A Contest: WoOT for Free stuff! by Erik 2008-03-06 08:32:04 I am enjoying your site. I'm not used to finding fitness sites with good information on them. Keep it up. I would love to see some articles on stretching. If you can find information on good ways to stretch the iliopsoaz, that would be a major plus. Read more:Comment

Comment on Beating Down the Wall: Mind over Body by Kathleen 2008-04-20 05:57:17 Good article. When I pedal my bike up a hill, I can always push that pedal one more time - all I think about is one more, then the next. It's amazing how it increases endurance. - it stacks up until you are at the top of that hill, then beyond! Read more:Comment

Comment on Dynamic Flexibility Part 1: What is it? by kch 2008-05-01 12:29:47 Good suggestions. Dynamic
stretching is especially helpful before intervals and other speed workouts. I usually do a few of the exercises you suggest after running a couple of slow laps and before the main part of my interval session. Read more:Comment

Comment on Push Yourself Like Your Life Depends on It by Sonneillon 2008-07-03 17:38:25 "That’s how you should train every day"? Sorry, but that really isn't necessary. There's a fine line between "training hard" and "overdoing it". Like hell you need to train "like your life depended on it" everyday. I understand your point about pushing yourself when you do train, but at least one full day in the week requires rest. Just wanted to shoot that one down, but thanks for that, because Read more:Comment
