The Audacity of Obama 2008-03-21 20:52:00 Obama, your attempt of dirty politics is asinine. Obama's campaign on Thursday released a photo of President Clinton with Rev. Jeremiah Wright during a meeting with religious leaders in an effort to deflect some of the attention away from him. I applaud Baracky Poo for trying to go negative on Clinton, but this time it just won't work. How dare you attempt to throw Clinton under the bus for having a meeting with religious leaders from all over the country. Wright was not Clinton's religious and spiritual leader for 20 years so because there is a picture of Clinton talking to YOUR pastor implicates nothing. Clinton didn't go to Wright's church for 20 years. Clinton did not get married by Wright, or have her child get baptized by Wright. THERE IS NO COMPARISON. If you can finally come to term Read more:Audacity

Screw the Kitchen Sink, We Need the Bathtub 2008-03-20 18:14:00 Hillary you have been known to attempt to win at all cost, and to use the kitchen sink technique. At this point in the game you need to throw the entire bathtub at Obama.Hillary you are on the verge of not even being in the news. Obama is getting all the press and before you are forgotten you need to start going into the bathroom and start throwing whatever is in the bathtub at Obama. Get yourself some headlines. The speech that Obama gave has now given him exclusive airtime that you don't have right now. You have everything to gain, while he has everything to lose. Who cares what people think about you. You are a Clinton and thats what we expect from you. We all know you will do everything to win and you know what I say to that, to hell with the haters. This is a competition and so much i Read more:Screw

Almost connected with me. 2008-03-18 17:27:00 For the first time I actually listened to Barack Obama. Previous times have been clips on youtube or CNN, but I listened today during the entire speech that he gave on race, and at first I was moved. My mouth was left gaping open at this wonderfully crafted speech that was perfectly executed, and then I thought to myself, can Obama really win the election? After reading his speech three times I realized that while his speech was extremely well written about the history of race relations in this country, it showcased the problem with the Obama campaign that has bothered me all along.Barack Obama has pinned himself as the politician above all politicians. He is on this higher plateau that no other candidate can achieve except himself. He uses his message of hope and unity to appeal to many w Read more:Almost
How Easy We Forget 2008-03-15 00:01:00 Who knew a thief could come in such a well wrapped package? It seems so long ago that the headlines were that Bush had stole the election back in 2000, and eight years later the democrats haven't learned their lesson. The quagmire that we are in right now is actually extremely funny. In 2000 Bush lost to Gore in the popular vote by a little over 500,000 votes. The democrats including myself had a conniption that Bush wasn't chosen by the people, and we could potentially be making the same fatal mistake in this primary election. The hypocrisy is running rampant in this democratic party and I'm starting to get violently Ill.We now have our Speaker of the House saying that the democratic party superdelegates should ignore the popular vote, and vote for whoever has the pledged delegates.
Popcorn anyone with this scandal? 2008-03-13 20:17:00 For a man who made his career of bringing down powerful men in wall street it is only fitting that his fall is the biggest political scandal since the "blue dress" incident. Elliot Spitzer's rise to political stardom was when he was elected Attorney General in 1998. This man took on powerful men on Wall Street and shocked the country with his tenacity. He was our golden boy and our maverick. He took on causes that made executives in many industries scared. He won the State of New Yorks gubernatorial race with 69% of the vote. He had enough money in his life, and he has a beautiful wife and three daughters. He has two Ivy League degrees, and had a potential to be a huge player for the democratic party on a national scale. The man had it all. For a man who had everything, apparently every
Hypocrisy of the Obama Campaign 2008-03-11 23:39:00 Barack Obama
is running his presidential campaign on the notion that since he isn't accepting any money from lobbyist that he owes nothing to the special interest groups at all. Well ladies and gentleman unless you are really naive to think that this isn't the case. First and foremost lets get the obvious out the way. My candidate of choice Hillary Clinton does accept money from PAC's as a means of fundraising, and yes she has received a lot of money from PAC's but I'm not here tonight to say whether or not that is right. My goal is to shed some light on the "perfect candidate" that is Barack Obama.I understand that Obama is talking a wonderful game right now about taking on special interest and making sure that the will of the people are heard right now and so is Hillary. I think somethin Read more:Hypocrisy

I Didn't Say Create Your Own Scandal 2008-03-25 18:29:00 WTF were you thinking Hillary? I told you to get some headlines, but you went ahead and got you a scandal. Why did you have to lie like that? Your message would've been clear without the lying about the gunfight, and you not having the welcome ceremony. In this day in age why do you think you could've gotten away with a lie when it was all recorded and CBS had the video and was there with you. You played it smart the past two weeks while Obama had his troubles, but you had to go flat out and lie about something so trivial. On March 17th you were quoted by saying "I remember landing under sniper fire," she said. "There was supposed to be some kind of a greeting ceremony at the airport, but instead we just ran with our heads down to get into the vehicles to get to our base." The thing i Read more:Scandal

The Fat Lady is Singing!!! 2008-03-27 22:12:00 Ladies and Gentleman, thanks for joining us for the spectacle called the Democratic Party Primaries, and lets congratulate Barack Obama for winning the nomination. Even though Pennsylvania hasn't voted yet it's time to face the music that our girl HRC is just not getting the nomination. Mathematically it just isn't possible, and unless she wants to commit political suicide she won't get the nomination. Game Over, lets pack up and watch us lose this election to another Republican. I'm not about to play the blame game as America has made their choice, and I hope it's the right choice they made. HRC has fought and will continue to fight a hard fight, but as a HRC supporter I am coming to terms that she will not win. Even if she was to win all the remaining contests she would have to win Read more:Singing
STOP WHINING 2008-03-29 20:18:00 This week there has been a larger pool of people making statements that HRC should drop out of the race. While a huge majority of those people making those statements are Obama supporters it's easy to see why they would want HRC to drop out. He is ahead in pledged delegates, and the popular vote and by all conventional wisdom HRC has no chance to catch up. What we in the Democratic Party need to realize is that once all these primaries are over there will be a winner, and we can move on to take on John McCain. There will still be close to five months of campaigning in the general election and that will be enough time to get all democrats together. For those supporters in both camps who say they will vote for John McCain are not true democrats if they are so willing to throw their vote for
Obamamaniacs vs. Clintonites 2008-03-31 16:22:00 It’s amazing how the more I read about this election I’ve come to realize it’s not the candidates that are dividing the Democratic Party, but it’s their supporters. Their supporters are regular Americans like me. They are voters in all demographics, and we are the one’s dividing the party. When this race got officially started with voting in the early primary states a majority of the party would’ve been satisfied with either candidate, but now as the race has dragged on the venom that is being spewed from both camps supporters is appalling. Each day I scour the internet reading opinion articles, editorials, and the blogosphere searching for new content to write about, and I feel it’s time we start examining ourselves to decide if we want our party to be the same hate fill
Is This the Death Blow? 2008-04-02 20:20:00 What a difference three weeks can make. HRC had a commanding lead in Pennsylvania just three weeks ago that was approaching almost 20 points over Barack Obama, and now according to the latest RCP Average Clinton is now only ahead by 6 points. What does that mean for Clinton? These past three weeks seems like it has been months in the political world. While waiting for Pennsylvania to have it's say in this primary process we have seen both campaigns run into severe trouble. Obama had the Wright situation going full steam, and recently Clinton with her Bosnia lie and in the midst of all that Obama has come out ahead. It doesn't really suprise me anymore as I am secretly(well not so secretly anymore) wanting this process to end. I can't take it anymore. It's too exhausting, and at this poi
Rich Girls, Columbia and Elitist Oh My! 2008-04-08 00:30:00 After taking a voluntary week off in politics there was a lot missed. I have to say though it was a week well deserved to get myself caught up on the best show on television Battlestar Galactica. My close friend HRC decided to finally release her tax returns amid controversy of her chief strategist Mark Penn traveling to Columbia
and talking about naughty things. I’m glad I am close friends to the Clinton’s so I can get a piece of that 109 million dollar fortune they have appeared to amass over the past seven years. Let’s not leave out Barack Obama and his mouth that just keeps getting him in trouble. The bulk of the Clinton fortune came from Bill’s speeches. Life must be good to talk for an hour and so and get paid thousands of dollars. The Obamabots have been complaining for Read more:Girls

The Boss Makes an Endorsement 2008-04-16 17:00:00 Bruce Springsteen made an endorsement today on his website stating that he has endorsed Senator Barack Obama for President. Why is this front page news on all the media outlets. Is Bruce a politician? Is he a super delegate? NO. So his endorsement like all other celebrity endorsements for ALL candidates are useless. If Americans make up their minds about who to vote for based off of who their favorite celebrity endorses then they are ignorant. These endorsements do nothing for the political process except fundraising.

Flag Pin is Back On!! 2008-04-16 15:44:00 Well, I have to say our Democratic front runner Barack Obama has caved to the pressure. According to a post by the LA Times shows a picture of Obama with a flag pin on his lapel. What happened to not needing a flag pin on your lapel to show your patriotism? I just found it funny, and again just shows that Obama is like any other politician and will play the games of politics to get what he wants.
Pennsylvania Democrat Debate 2008-04-16 14:45:00 The PennsylvaniaDemocratDebate
is on tonight at 8pm on ABC. The stakes are very high for both candidates tonight and it will be interesting to see who will be taking the offensive. Expectations are high for Obama tonight coming off this weekends coverage of "bitter-gate", and he has to prove that this party is ready for him to have this nomination. Clinton has a score to settle, and she has to prove that this party isn't ready for Obama. Lets hope sparks fly and this is a very good debate and not a love fest between the two candidates.
I Hate CNN 2008-04-16 01:30:00 I just wish CNN
would just plaster on their front page that they have endorsed Senator Obama. It would make all of our lives easier. I'm so sick of CNN picking and choosing which polls they want to report on. Granted while the LA Times/Bloomberg poll shows Obama ahead in Indiana by 5 points, they fail to mention the fact that a Survey USA poll released on Tuesday shows Clinton ahead by 16 points, but we won't see that on CNN only the numbers that put Obama ahead. I'm not disputing the poll results, but CNN needs to stop taking sides and start reporting the results fair and balanced. Then again that would be like asking Fox News to do the same thing.
SAVE THE CORPORATIONS AND THE WEALTHHY 2008-04-15 22:48:00 Speaking at Pittsburgh on Tuesday John McCain made a speech outlining economic plans that he would like in place if he were to become President. I'm glad McCain is for the corporations of America. McCains speech today seemed conflicted. While he was taking aim at CEO's who make millions and their companies are failing, but he wants to cut the corporate tax from 35 percent to 25 percent. It's mighty odd how McCain wants to go after the evil CEO's but wants to help corporations by cutting their taxes. McCain is also trying to make the Bush tax cuts permanent. How do the tax cuts help average americans like me. I didn't see any real tangible benefit from these tax cuts, but then again McCain is the one who is out of touch with real Americans.
Reverend Wright Is At It Again 2008-04-15 22:11:00 After taking a sabbatical it's good to hear that Rev. Jeremiah Wright
is at the pulpit again bringing the masses together to stick it to the man. This story that was first reported on the Chicago Sun Times, and apparently reporters had to sneak into a funeral service. The media was asked to not attend this service, and I think it was wrong for journalists to watch this sermon for the sole purpose of creating new controversy. The Reverend
made some remarks that weren't too kind to some Fox News personalities. Rev. Wright had this to say about Fox News. FOX News can't understand that. O'Reilly will never get that. Sean Hannity's stupid fantasy will keep him forever stuck on stupid when it comes to comprehending how you can love a brother who does not believe what you believe." I think it's a Read more:Again
Hillary I Need You to Shut Up! 2008-04-15 14:12:00 In light of the "bitter-gate" scandal Hillary
has come out firing statements that Obama's comments were elitist, and following John McCains sentiments that he is out of touch with regular Americans. As we all know from these bumps in the road that Obama has the Kool-Aid is just too darn good to let go. These comments won't phase Obama for some reason, and it's just a statement of fact. While the comment was phrased completly wrong it's honestly a true statement. The past two elections have shown that voters thought social and religious issues were more important in these elections. Who can forget the 2004 race, and the republicans assault on the "gay agenda". Gay marriage was one of the central themes in that race, and Evangelical voters came out in droves. 11 states approved Defense of
Boycott? 2008-04-18 00:46:00 I was reading on Daily Kos yesterday that Obamamaniacs are calling for a boycott of ABC, and the advertisers that advertised during the Debate on the 16th. What in the world are they thinking? O yea boycotting advertisers is going to make a difference in this election. Sometimes I just wonder if they really think about some of their statements. Keep the hope alive Obamamaniacs your leader will most likely still have the nomination. Don't get your panties in a bunch.

What If? 2008-04-17 23:00:00 Lets imagine for a moment that we are back in December of 2007 and Barack Obama was still relitively unknown, and the Reverend Wright Scandal appeared. Would Obama be capable of surviving the scandal? Without any votes being cast Obama would've been crippled. The voters of Iowa would've most likely not been able to support that type of contreversy. The airwaves being blasted with "God Damn America", and Obama still fresh to the political scene scrambling to find an appropriate response. His campaign, I feel wouldn't have been able to recover. David Axelrod wouldn't know what to do with himself. We wouldn't have had Chris Matthews fawning like a little child over Obama. Would the country really accept Obama as a serious presidential candidate from that point on. It's hard to imagine O
Recap of the Pennsylvania Debate 2008-04-16 22:57:00 I do have to apologize as I did not actually watch the debate thanks my DVR mysteriously not working, but nonetheless I did catch up on the main points through videos from ABC and YouTube. Well ladies and gentleman the 21st debate for the Dems was uneventful for the most part. This time the debate was hosted by ABC and moderated by Charles Gibson, and George Stephanopoulos. I wouldn't call this debate a "lovefest", but it wasn't really catty either. There were some humorous moments in the debate when Gibson had posed the question if each candidate would name the other as the VP candidate. Both of them smiled and appeared to not want to answer the question first. Obviously the usual response of it's too soon to speculate about VEEP candidates, but it clearly shows at how this primary co Read more:Recap

Indiana Debate 2008-04-19 08:12:00 CNN is reporting that Hillary Clinton has accepted an invitation to a debate in Indiana
before the states primary. The debate could be as soon as April 24th, but as of today Obama has still not accepted the invitation. The debate would be sponsored by the Indiana Debate
Commission,CNN and PBS. Seeing how it's not being sponsored by ABC I'm sure the far left wing of the party would like that. This would be the 22nd primary debate for the democrats. The RCP average right now for Indiana shows Obama ahead by 2.3 points.
Is ABC Really Biased? 2008-04-18 14:17:00 I know i'm really late on bashing ABC right now, but i'm not here to bash ABC, but talk about the possibility that ABC really was biased against Obama and used this debate to smear him. NO i'm not drinking the kool-aid so fast that I'm joining the boycott of ABC and the advertisers of the debate, but I read an interesting article today in regards to the woman who asked Obama if he "believes in the flag". I was reading an article on talkingpointsmemo.com, that gave some interesting information about the voter asking that question. This woman was interviewed by the NY Times, and when asked who she would vote for this is what Nash McCabe(the voter who posed the question) had to say. "How can I vote for a president who won't wear a flag pin?" Out of ALL the voters in Pennslyvania ABC just

Hamas wants Obama 2008-04-19 10:27:00 According to Cnn the McCain campaign has sent a fundraising e-mail to their supporter claiming that Hamas
approves Barack Obama
's foreign policy, and wants
Barack to win come November. If this doesn't get the republicans to wake up and come out and vote in heavy numbers I don't know what will. I see the Rovian fear mongering machine is in full effect here. While Obama may have alluded that he would meet with foreign leaders of Iran,Cuba, N Korea etc without preconditions, Obama has never stated he would meet with terrorist organizations as they are not legitimate nations. While I myself disagree with potentially meeting with some of the aforementioned leaders we can clearly see the McCain campaign using these tactics, and it will be interesting to see if McCain gets a boost in fundraising
Today is Bigger than March 4th 2008-04-22 01:51:00 Well, we will soon know if this nomination process will continue. The primary in Pennsylvania is critical for Hillary Clinton. She has to win by a huge margin today to justify staying in this race. Putting things in perspective according to the RCP Obama has a 2.65% lead in the popular vote and Hillary needs to cut into his popular vote total. Clinton enjoyed close to a 20 point lead in Pennsylvania, but following the trend of other states Obama has cut into that lead. Will Hillary be able to win big like in Ohio? We shall know soon. I will have a full report on the primary once the results are in.
