Pumuckl is an Alien or the FAVN Test 2008-03-22 10:25:00 Some weeks ago we have visited our vet to begin the procedure for all necessary checks so Chica & Pumuckl can travel out of Egypt with us one day. Both got their microchips and then each of them had to give a blood sample for the FAVN (fluorescent antibody virus neutralisation) Test.The vet started with Pumuckl. Small cat, so should not be a problem. But Pumuckl didn't like the idea to give away anything from his body, not even a bit of his blood. I would say they have also partly changed my character. Sun is shining all day long again and inside our home we have already 29 degree. I love the spring in Egypt. It is not about prospering flowers and singing birds, all this we don't have here. It's more the sun which is bringing back the happiness, the fresh sea breeze which has its only scent and all those people who like to go out in night again as the earth cooled down from the day heat.Pumuckl and Chica love this weather. She enjoys herself most of the time and gets annoyed quickly.
