Google Name Servers Not Working Correctly 1970-01-01 00:59:59 Well, I have been all excited that I got a custom domain for my blog and I have been working on it all weekend trying to get it setup correctly. Finally I think I have it working and it turns out Google
Names Servers have a HUGE problem. Let me give you an example, say I want to get to Google's Home Page. I would type in google.com and it would take me there. It is understood that google.com is the same as typing "http://www.google.com". Google says otherwise. For my blog, I setup a CNAME record on my 1&1 (Where I bought my domain) pointing to "ghs.google.com". Then I entered a custom domain into blogger of "http://www.mytechnews.net". So if you type in the address with the "www" you get my blog. However, if you type "mytechnews.net" or "http://mytechnews.net" you will receive a 404 error message. This is because Google's Name server thinks the "www" makes it a completely different address. It turns out that currently (I say currently because I hope they fix this soon) I can only

My: Tech News Blog gets its own domain!!! 1970-01-01 00:59:59 I just purchased a domain
name using 1&1! My:Tech News
Blog, formerly located at mytechnewsblog.blogspot.com will now be at mytechnews.net. I know, its much easier to type the latter. I am just waiting for all the domain settings to go through and then I will change the domain. Don't worry though, both addresses will still get you here. I wasn't going to purchase one, until I knew if this blog would generate any revenue. I just checked my Google Adsense account and I have made a few dollars so I figured I could spend $5.99 on a domain. Quite a deal if you ask me. Thanks to all you clickers and PayPal-donaters for funding my domain name. Keep on reading.

Verizon passed on the iPhone? 1970-01-01 00:59:59 Engadget is reporting that Verizonpassed
on the iPhone
. Apparently, Apple offered the iPhone to Verizon first, but Apple just wanted more than their share of the deal. So instead of Verizon customers emptying their savings for the iPhone, it's Cingular's, no wait At&t's customers shelling out the big bucks. For all you angry iPhone-loving Verizon customers out there send your hate mail to Jim Gerace, VZW VP who I'm sure had something to do with the big NO for the iPhone. Check out the engadget article here.

Vaccinations without pain? 1970-01-01 00:59:59 A new technology called Nanopass promises a unique new way to administer intradermal drugs. The Nanopass technology uses an array of small pyramid-shaped needles to administer the drugs intradermally. By using multiple needles which are extremely short, pain in spared while the vaccines are administered. The needles are less than one micrometer in diameter and are so short that they do not penetrate the skin deep enough to contact the nerve endings which normally cause pain. These new nanopass needles are also capable of delivering cosmetic enhancement substances. While not on the market yet, NanoPass Technologies Ltd. has received a $6.5 million dollar grant to continue research and development. [via medGadget] Read more:Vaccinations

Yes, apparently there is a great amount of people exposed to radiation because of the ambiguity associated with those waves radiating from an atom in the center. The new symbol will show those should be Darwin award winners people, that radiation is bad, and to run away. Stay tuned for further updates on other important U.N. actions.
