Back to School? 2008-03-11 11:22:50 It's been quite some time since I've been in any kind of formal learning environment, however my 30th birthday is fast approaching and I'm considering going back to finally get a degree, in perhaps clinical psychology.
People keep telling me it's never to late to go back to school, however i've not convinced myself. It's a big debate with alot of things to consider. Will my time taking classes towards my degee hinder me from accomplishing other things off my long list of other projects? Is getting a degree more advantageous to those other projects?

HD1000, a small pistol grip video and still camera that shoots video at 1080i and pictures a 4MP. The big debate now is if I'll hock my Digital Rebel XTI still camera on eBay so I can pick up one of these. Considering I've yet to take advantage of the Rebel's power and features, it's quite likely I'll be switching over to the Xacti HD1000 soon.

Rebel XTI early last year, with all the fixings.. with the point of going out and taking lots of pictures. As of now I haven't taken all that many, and most of them where ebay auction listing photos.

Ellen DeGeneres calls up Sally Kern 2008-03-14 13:12:54 Sally Kern is a Republican State Representative in Oklahoma. A recording from a "small gathering" surfaced on YouTube a few days back. Here is some of Sally's rant about homosexuality, where she claims it as being something worse than terrorism, for our country:
"Studies show that no society that has totally embraced homosexuality lasted more than a few decades. So it's the death knell, in this country. I honestly think it's the biggest threat, even, that our nation has, even more so than terrorism or Islam, which I think is a big threat, OK."
So if Sally is right the world is in big trouble. Put simply from Sally's point of view, Belgium, Canada, The Netherlands, South Africa and Spain will surley fall within the next decade as they allow same-sex marriage.

Oprah Winfrey - The end of False Religion? 2008-03-18 23:01:05 About two years ago, I found a copy of a pamphlet produced by the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society of Pennsylvania, creatively placed where I'd step on it when walking out the door.
Some time later I sat down and read through this pamphlet which was entitled "THE END OF FALSE RELIGION IS NEAR!". Peeking inside, I learn that false religion from the viewpoint of the Jehovah's Witnesses, is purported as those religions which partake in religious war, politics, spreading false doctrine and the toleration of immoral sex (homosexuality).
While I couldn't agree more with the idea that killing people and war based on religious beliefs is not only hypocritical, it should bring shame on those religions and the people that support them. However, I certainly will not take much stock in any religio Read more:Oprah

on the front page of YouTube a few weeks back and he's been in occasional rotation since then. This guy and his accostics are fresh and unique. The entire albumn has value to it, but the best of the lot seems to be "Freeze my Senses" and one of my personal favorites is "In the Sunshine" which reminds me of an uncommercialzed Jack Johnson, fresh, happy and thank god spring is finally here.
