There are not too many other characters out there that I’m aware of that had manifested themselves in their creators’ minds while they were kids, only to be fully realized sometime later in adulthood. Thanks to the Internet and on-demand printing, putting your own book out yourself has never been easier. The Debate Rages On: Does God Exist? (Part Two of Two) 2007-05-11 09:27:00 Yesterday an interesting debate was aired on ABC.com between Kirk Cameron and Ray Comfort (the former an actor and evangelist, the latter an evangelist and author) and two atheists (Brian Sapient and Kelly, founders of the Rational Response Squad). The Debate Rages On: Does God Exist? (Part One of Two) 2007-05-10 08:28:00 ABC.com aired the first part of a debate between Kirk Cameron and Ray Comfort and the Rational Response Squad today. According to the advertisement at the end of the discussion, the remaining part will air tomorrow.The debate was suggested, so I’ve read, by Ray Comfort, an evangelist and author, who wrote to ABC in reply to something the Rational Response Squad is doing, and that is the Blasphemy Challenge. Mr. Media Returns 2007-06-14 00:24:00 About a week ago I began the media blitz for Axiom-man: Doorway of Darkness and Axiom-man Episode No. 0: First Night Out.Pre-ordering went live on the eighth of June and notification went out to approximately 22,000 people. Likewise, last night I began my “in the flesh” media solicitations for radio and TV appearances. Newspaper stuff is still on the agenda.The marketing of a book is one of my favorite parts of producing one. Yes, it’s a lot of hard work and takes a lot of time, but the rewards can be worth it. And I gotta tell ya, I haven’t had such a fresh reading experience like this since checking out the small press for the first time way back when.For those who don’t know, manga is the Japanese version of the Western comic book...except better. Though they’re published serially over in Japan, over here in the west they typically come in digest-sized books, about 200 pages in length, and are read “backwards” instead of forwards, to remain consistent with what the Japanese creators originally intended with their work.
