HAWKINS STINKS! 2008-04-24 02:52:00 Enough of La Troy Hawkins.He stinks.As I predicted back in January, he is a failure in the bullpen.Wednesday night he faced 3 White Sox and could only get 1 out, allowing the Pale Hose to inch their way back into the game.He has now given up 12 earned runs in 9 innings.Hawkins had help, for the 2nd night in a row Billy Traber could not get out the 1 batter he was brought in to face.Hawkins was a DUMB signing.Cashman should cut this off now. With options in the minors, Traber should be sent packing to Scranton and Hawkins should simply be sent packing.

Why would they DFA Moeller knowing that Posada was not 100%?I would imagine this will spark more Mike Piazza talk.If Moeller is not picked up by another team they could bring him back.The Yanks could also bring up Chris Stewart from Scranton or P.J.
