I then stamped the same flouris Read more:Treasure

Triangulation? 2008-05-21 11:24:00 Here are yet another two triangular ATC's. These have a shiny clear embossed coating which enhances the vibrancy of the colours used. All used Distress Inks and various rubber stamps to achieve the effect. A waterbrush was used to spread areas of colour. The one on the right was an experiment with some other inks I have to see if they stood up to heat embossing........looks a bit Xmassy to me !!

Another altered 'Pringles' container 2008-07-05 03:55:00 Fancy a bit of altering?I enjoy doing altered art because it uses everyday items that would otherwise end up in the bin and challenges me to come up with incorporating multimedia techniques into the finished article. This bit of art was done as part of a swap between members of UK Stampers Forum. The swap was to alter a 'Pringles' container. I chose one of the small snack size containers this time
Remaining Boxes 2008-07-03 02:36:00 The final offering of 5 little houses. This completes the set of 21. I used stamps on all of them but also enjoyed doing the backgrounds with Starburst Stains(which contain mica powder), in advance of the decorating. The shimmer does not come through in the photos but looks great (in my opinion), on the actual houses. Many thanks to Sarah (Flo) for organising this swap and I now look forward to re Read more:Boxes

'Little Boxes On The Hillside' 2008-06-29 09:27:00 I recently signed up for a swap organised by one of our forum members called 'Little Boxes
On The Hillside' . The swap required you to make 21 little buildings in a size 2.5 inches wide by 3 to 6 inches tall. The idea was first spawned by Sarah Fishburn and Angela Cartwright who published a book called 'In This House' . I think, when swapped, the selection of art will lend itself to being displaye

Bandanna ATC Technique Class 2008-07-24 11:59:00 What is the Bandanna technique? It is inspired by the typical batik style of print used on head bandannas. I think this is particularly effective if overlaid on a coloured background, and in this example I will give instructions on making a spray ink background. Of course, any type of background is suitable so try loads of ideas out. They are sure to look stunning as ATC's.The materials:Spray Inks
My 'TOWN' of houses 2008-07-19 06:11:00 Here is a pic of all the houses

You may have noticed that instead of 20, there are only 19. The missing one is on it's way from one contributor who's originals got lost in the postal system and who is happy to repr

Sunday Challenge No 3 2008-08-23 06:13:00 Here are my 9 'inchies' done for the UK Stampers SundayChallenge
No 3. The challenge was based on the Olympics, sports & medals. I found this one difficult really because I don't have a lot of sporty type stamps. I decided to use watercolour board as a base and then thought about the colours of the Olympic rings as a starter. I first coloured the backgrounds with Whispers dye ink in Turquois
The Lost Little Box 2008-08-22 04:20:00 Some while ago in another of my blog posts, I mentioned that I had been part of a swap called 'Little Boxes on the Hillside'. One of the ladies who participated had the great misfortune to lose her 21 Little Boxes in the post whilst on their way to the host for the swap. She was so determined that she re-crafted all her Boxes again and this is her spooky submission to turn the 19 I received into th
