The World Police 2008-03-07 14:07:55 Can you believe it? It's already been 7 years since the attack on the twin towers. Man time flies! The U.S.A formed the coalition of the willing in the hopes of eliminating terrorist groups all over the world, starting with Bin Laden. I was happy when George W. Bush said : "As Americans, we are absolutely united in our determination to hunt down and destroy Osama bin Laden and the terrorists". Imagine, a world without terror ... peace on earth, well at least a start. After months of nothing, our attention was somehow turned to Saddam Hussein. Anybody else confused and didn't he say DETERMINED to hunt down and destroy Osama?? Let me try to break it down, maybe somebody can clear things up for me.--Bin Laden attacks on September 11, 2001--USA forms coalition of the willing to eliminate Bin La Read more:World

Quality Of Life 2008-03-05 10:24:48 This morning, there was a huge snow storm. I spent over an hour trying to get my car out the driveway. I decided to take a Taxi. I then asked the driver how much he would charge me to go downtown and to my surprise, he said he won't! So I had to pay him 10$ get to get to a bus stop, spent 4$ on the bus and about 6$ to take the subway. Since I was late, I had no time for breakfast so I just spent another 5$ on food and I'm gonna gave to spend 10$ on lunch and another 4$ to take the bus back home. That's a total of 29$. That's almost a day's pay!!!Why didn't I just stay home? I tried, asked my boss twice! I even asked to not get paid. I'm obviously pretty pissed about the whole situation so now it got me thinking and calculating. I get a raise every 6 months but I don't feel any richer. The Read more:Quality
No title 2008-02-29 19:49:46 This is something that's been on my mind for a few years now. What I saw today just pushed me over the edge. A police officer was nicely setup on the road to pull over at least 5 cars at a time to give out tickets for crossing a solid line. Keep in mind people this is rush hour ... traffic!! Don't they have anything else to do? I mean go help someone in distress, save a life I don't know but something useful would be nice.I don't know if any of you saw the movie 'A Day Without Mexicans' but basically, California was tired of all the illegals so they made a movie to see what it would be like without Mexicans. Now, imagine our society without 'criminals'. It annoys the hell out of me to hear lawyers, police officers and judges saying they want to rid society of criminals. I think it's BS!Who
The value of a life 2008-02-27 19:24:26 I had a sad thought today. I get the feeling that we value the lives of the rich more than the 'poor'.I'll start with something close to home. I live in a regular neighborhood but I think it's weird that when I pass through a wealthy one, they have speed bumps at every single stop sign, they have signs saying to watch out for the kids and they even have security patrols. Don't get me wrong, they pay more taxes .. well say we are led to believe but that's another story. This screams, our kids are more important than yours. I don't care how much money they have! Everybody needs to feel safe!!Now, what's really on my mind ... every time an American or Canadian dies in this so called war on terror, I see massive headlines 'Two U.S soldiers killed in bombing'. I find it odd because whenever i

Making a billion dollars per month 2008-02-26 15:37:46 I know I haven't written anything in quite some time but I haven't got much feedback from the last post. No matter! I feel compelled to write about being bombarded by sites claiming that I can make over 6 000$ per month doing virtually nothing. Don't get me wrong, I know you have to put some effort into it but this seems a little to good to be true. The first time I saw one of the ads, I was impressed and even considered it. After some research, I noticed that everybody wants me to have financial freedom. That's when I became suspicious. Seriously, nobody cares about you really so why is a complete stranger 'helping' me?I have this weird feeling that they're not trying to help me ... I think they want me to help them achieve their financial freedom. Crazy uh?! I doubt someone would really Read more:billion

slavery isn't over 2008-01-17 13:45:30 I know must people sees the title and think when blacks were slaves. What I really want to say is that today, we are all slaves! The reason why I say this is because I have come to realise that no matter how much money we make, we will forever be unhappy (the most of us anyway). I strongly believe that this is deliberate. The few up power have come up with a way to make is think and behave as modern slaves.Back in the day, slaves had to work very hard and be content with a roof over their heads and a little food to eat. Today, that would be unacceptable. Instead, you groomed to fit the middle class stereotype. In this class, you work long hours and barely have time to spend with your family. All this to be content with a small % of what all your hard work produces. Here's a little example.
