Nobody feel comfortable treating him. Be like nobody."Great ads with a great message from the advertising agency JWT Mexico
. These ads were done for the Commission for human rights of Mexico City, and I think they are very effective getting their point across.

Korona K1 from Stepan Sarpaneva 2008-03-05 14:18:00 Helsinki watchmaker, Stepan Sarpaneva, nephew of the famed Finnish mid-century designer Timo Sarpaneva, has produced yet another stellar timepiece -- the Korona K1. The K1 will be available, as pictured, but also with a black diamond coated case and an Imperial Blue dial. The dial is made in three parts from Stainless, with these skeleton like dials are becoming a bit of a trademark for Sarpaneva. The hands are microblasted giving them a textured surface, except for their tips, which are black polished."The Korona pricing is likely to start a bit above $8500.via watchismo
Julius Popp 2008-03-05 08:45:00 Julius Popp (German, b.1973)Popp uses controlled drips of water to create a waterfall of words and images. A horizontal module with computer-controlled valves hung from the ceiling releases droplets at precise times to form predetermined shapes. The result is a word of message that seems to magically rain down from the ceiling and then disappear upon impact with the floor. Popp describes bit.fall as a "metaphor for the incessant flood of information we are exposed to."moma
World AIDS Day 2008-03-05 08:30:00 Funny ad from Cream out of Athens, Greece and creative director Fotis Georgiou. Pretty solid ad for a great cause, but the execution is a little bit lacking the grim reaper just doesn't look like he belongs in that location. Maybe it is the shading or the blending, I don't know but something is throwing the illustration off a bit. If the execution had been little bit better it would have been a really good ad. Regardless of any of that it is an ad for a great cause, learn more about the day at www.worldaidsday.org.cream

BeHive 2008-03-05 08:05:00 The two intergrated lighting units make the BeHive a piece of furniture you do not want to leave once you are seated. The concept of the BeHive is based upon a round trampoline, which is suspended about 60 cm above the floor. You can choose to either sit, lean or hang against the very comfortable side cushions. The trampoline fabric itself also provides maximum comfort and automatically adapts to the shape of your body thanks to the suspenders that surround and support it. The fabric is also connected to the middle so that the lounging comfort remains the same for all the people seated, independent of the number of people. Very cool piece of furniture designed by Dirk Wynants and all for only 12296 British pounds, or like $20,000 if my conversion is fairly close.BeHive
Jean-Marie Massaud 2008-03-04 14:17:00 The Fiction mirrors designed by Jean-Marie
Massaud for Glas Italia are a series of mirrors available in two different sizes. Realized in extralight glass with degrading shaded silvering, hanging on the wall with a chromium-plated metal cylinder. The small mirror can have a degrading shade upwards or downwards. I think these are pretty cool, I have never seen a mirror like this. I really like the way the mirror looks like it is appearing out of the wall. fiction
Good Luck Growing Kit 2008-03-04 11:10:00 I have a lot of trouble keeping plants alive for some reason they always tend to die no matter how much or how little I water them. Maybe the good luck growing kit would help me out. The good luck growing kit is a cool ceramic planter pre-planted with five easy-to-grow oxalis bulbs which are known as good luck plants for their clover-like leaves and dark-purple center. Perfect for bringing a little bit of good luck to your home, office or cubicle and since shamrocks are a type of oxalis plant, they make great gifts for St. Patrick's Day.good luck

Each of the square modules is comprised of two articulated elements, which can be raised or lowered independently. DDB New Zealand 2008-03-04 08:23:00 "Terrorism-related deaths since 2001: 11,377. Tobacco-related deaths since 2001: 30,000,000."Advertisement from DDB New Zealand
for ASH, Action on Smoking and Health. I think it is a fairly effective ad and it does get its point across. I just don't know if the best association to make is terrorism-related deaths to tobacco-related deaths.
Maarten Baas 2008-03-03 15:52:00 Fun prototype from Maarteen Baas, I guess you could always take a little of your aggression out on this guy after a hard days work. It is a hand-carved knife-block shaped like a man's head, the knives sticking out of it in gruesome humor.baasvia idr

Mccann Erickson 2008-03-12 14:13:00 "Super Absorbent Tissues"I love this ad from Mccann Erickson
out of Mumbai, India and art directors Kapil Tammal and Sandesh Kambli for Soakies brand tissues. Just so clever with the tiny little tissues, and the name of the brand, Soakies, is just so great.
Fierce 2008-03-12 10:06:00 If you watched project runway at all then you will remember Christian Siriano and his "Fierceness." This clip from SNL is just perfect and Amy Poehler has pretty much captured him perfectly. Have fun with this clip it pretty much made my morning, so funny.
Miami Ad School 2008-03-12 08:36:00 Extremely fun ads, most likely mock ups seeing as they are from a school and all, from Miami
Ad School
out of Miami Beach, USA and art director Vanessa Castañeda. Doubtful that American Airlines would ever have an ad that promoted the mile high club or water landings, both kind of frowned upon in the airline industry, but still a nice ad and a lot of fun.
