So She Doesn't Have Perfect Hips 2008-06-15 18:06:57 Two x-rays, a perfunctory check by the orthopaedic surgeon and much wailing and thrashing about later, it appears Isla's left hip is still not right.It's IN JOINT which is marvelous but the ball and socket (acetabulum meets femoral head) are in a slightly steep position. being attentive to my hair yesterday evening. I love having my hair brushed but it's a rare thing for Conor to take interest as it's so thick and long and a great effort to get a comb through. We also hear this in words like "grass", "fast" and "laugh".There's merry hell to pay if there are no bubbles (or a decent amount) so I have to agitate the water furiously and for a good few minutes. Grublets 2008-08-08 02:30:39 A couple of scruffy grublets. I do need to trim Conor's hair again although it's not growing half as fast as Isla's. I think she has more hair 'mass', it just curls up more vigorously which is why Conor appears to have superior length.Conor's just started referring to Isla (and me on occasion) as "my highness".
