I was able to wait a few months for agloco to launch. I was happy to promote to get an initial downline of 300+ because the agloco administration said it would launch months ago. Now all thats happening is that people are loosing interest and slowly beginning to drift elseware. Every email I receive is just more and more promises of ‘launching next month’, and excuses. I read the guy’s website who has 20k+ referrals in agloco… I think its all very well having an amazing amount of referrals, but what use is it if you can’t even earn. One thing that really shocked and disappointed me was that the last email update said that even when the viewbar was released to all members - We wouldn’t see any money for over 2 months!!! Regardless of Obeus’ last email update about their new paid per impressions program, I have still decided to convert chrismono.com to google adsense. I feel that I am not maximising my profit with obeus at around 1-3c a click. I could be earning over twice that with google adsense. The only let down I have is the minimum payout for adsense ($10) is greater than with obeus($1) and pays by monthly cheque. However In my opinion that is a small cost in comparison with the benefits. With just 27 clicks I have earnt $6.56 in my adsense account, whereas in my obeus I have been with much longer and only earnt 50c. In order to achieve profit maximisation most websites who want to take advantage of their page rank, CTR, traffic and ad posistioning should look to larger advertiser/publisher programs rather than smaller ones for their income solutions. I am considering making a move towards yahoo’s overture which is like adsense. They are also paying a high amount per click.

When I first saw the new £400,000 logo paid for by tax payers hard earned cash, I was almost sick. The idea was nice (yet not unique) from the designer and marketers - to have vibrant colours to attract people.. but to me it just blatantly looks like an old person trying to design a logo for young people who don’t understand the younger generation! And when that happens, logos get tacky.. To me it looks incredibly tacky for an olympic logo - thousands of people compare it with the grafitti that covers London. The only good it has done is to spark up debate. I actually saw a duplicate drawn on photoshop on youtube in 7 minutes… Nearly every web designer has gone ‘raving looney’ over the crap logo.. not over its price tag.. but the fact that a lot of people could do a better job.. on paint! However after seeing a few marketing ads, it has potential to grow on me.. But this has been a massive failure with the huge rejection from the mass public.
