Bring The Heat
2008-07-01 07:16:00
Here in Seattle, it has been getting really hot. It was 90 degrees on Saturday. Nearly 90 on Sunday, and yesterday it was in the mid 80's. Things aren't so bad if you're working inside an air conditioned company, building, or retail store. Even the worst of jobs, like working in the mall or at a grocery store are fine on these hot days. But not for us, not the office guys in the warehouse. It heate

A Portrait of Hysteria

It seems that we are conditioned into a world of fear. Especially with gas prices. The news continues to feed this idea that gas prices are so high, that people can't afford to go to work, go to school, or even church. Everyday, every hour, every news bit has a quick anecdote about how those gas prices are really causing a lot of trouble.Well, I walk to work. I have been walking to work since last

Mainstream music sucks, and the underground is riddle with stupidity and genre shifts that make no sense to those that are trying to reach for something more than the mediocre. I grew up with a lot of bands that were reaching

Tears of a Fallen Tech

Another Week...Another Paycheck, and another example of how mundane things are for the educated. My job is mind numbing sometimes. All my life's career so far has been a convoluted effort to make other people money. That's ok, I guess. I'm just tired, it's been a long week for me. I've been trying really hard to make it through, tooth and nail. My office has no air conditioning, and we are blastin

What Happened Here

Just to bring everyone up to speed. I was working on deleting some old posts, and after tinkering with a batch erase script, I accidentally deleted everything. That's right. A toilet flush of posts. I am in the process of a back up system, but most likely will not get it. Unless...I do have a plan B. I always have a plan b. Hang in there, I've got a ton of new crap to post.
