That moment…
2007-07-04 14:37:04
Sometimes you anticipate a moment, dream about it happening, and when it finally happens you are so in awe, you’re completely lost for words&hellip ;…  *completely lost for words*

Frustrated and Bored, or is it Bored and Frustrated??
2007-07-04 06:35:27
I guess there is a limit to how much one can sit around and do nothing, (my leg is injured) and i have officially lost my mind and NEED to do something active other then watch american sit-coms /TV serials! Or maybe i’m just saying that cos ive managed to complete all the current seasons of: Prison Break Ugly Betty Smallville Heroes Alas i should not despair and still have……. Desperate Housewives America’s Next top Model (don’t say anything ) Grey’s Anatomy House …..to watch, but no, i can’t bring myself to watch them i was supposed to watch them whilst i exercise on my treadmill, but that doesn’t seem likely to happen for at least another 4 weeks plus i’m gonna need physiotheraphy too, and last thing i want to do is to exasperate an already very sensitive part of my body! I  guess im sooo bored i should do something more creative like, some oil painting or my photography but im kinda, frustrated that i can&rsquo

The Buzz from the Hive: Keeping up with lies: Your such a Zakka!
2007-07-03 13:27:53
So zakka tells me that its a hard job telling the truth, well i thought it was hard keeping up with lies, but apparently the zakka says not! i quote zakka: “wallah, lying is easier then telling the trth for afridis” Wateva trth means, i presume it to mean truth, even spelling the word is troublesome for the zakkians it seems. i have coined a new phrase for such people, “YOUR SUCH A ZAKKA!” Or Zakkian….. wateva!

Boastful People…
2007-07-08 08:19:20
One thing i noticed about the people in general back home, is that they are very boastful! They always have to try and out do you, even when your not trying to out do them in the first place, and they try and out do you in ridiculous non-sensical ways, that doesn’t even make any sense! I’ve noticed that most of the pukhtuns i know from the uk that have been brought up here all of their lives or most during the developing years of their lives are down to earth and not boastful and are happy with what they have or have not.  I like these type of people a lot! I know everyone is not the same, and all that, but its just a general thing i noticed, people back home are always in competition with each other, possibly the pukhtun community where we live is not so big, in fact there isn’t one really, just a few individual families living amongst non pukhtuns has meant no one is actually trying to out do each other. Maybe this explains why some other ethnic communities, where

ICC 20 20 cricket world cup final Pakistan vs. India
2007-09-24 06:49:06
My returning post is about Sport! And not my national sport Football but the usually boring but not so in this case - CRICKET!  Pakistan have made it into the finals against India which should be lovely to watch and of course i shall support Pakistan but if i had to bet i would say India will win - WHY? Because i fear no matter how good Pakistan are they will probably have taken a bribe to loose in complete utter unashamed style and so if u are going to bet, i would suggest u bet on India to win though in my heart i hope pakistan do!

Stating the Obvious : Closure
2007-10-06 20:18:36
Here follows a big statement…….. Closure is a very good thing. Something one must try and accomplish in certain matters in ones life and therefore not let it affect proceeding events in ones life. *breathes a very huge sigh of relief*

Solitude
2008-01-14 18:44:05
Sometimes a Muslim poet, an Imam from many centuries ago can describe feelings of modern day humans, no wonder he, Imam Jalaluddin Rumi is one of the most popular read poets in the USA and the world over, despite belonging to the misunderstood religion of Islam. Spiritual joys come only from solitude So the wise choose the bottom of a well, For the [...]

2008-04-03 21:01:50

Perhaps the sleeping fate of  Pukhtu has awoken, for there is once [...]
