Friday Night Update
1970-01-01 00:59:59
An interesting week.I have not yet signed up as FreedomRocks offered an extension to my free period which was a no brainer to accept....as they have introduced a new broker (Interbank). I wanted to trial the new kid on the block but there is very little difference as Interbank uses the same trading platform software as my existing 1world. Interbank seem to pay more interest and I have one or two questions to get out of the way but at the moment, I will probably go with them for my first live account. The markets closed with my 1world demo about 20% down from its highest point and the newly started Interbank about 1.7% down (about the same as the spread on entering..so in reality no loss)I am heartened by this as I have seen this loss at over $200 on the 2K demo but in the end it is $172 down (1world)It is also a good reminder that things are not always gain and profit, but I do not see this as a problem as I am looking at the FreedomRocks system for the long haulMy 1world demo is set

Friday Update
1970-01-01 00:59:59
Well, that week flew!...My free trial is drawing to a close and I shall be joining as a rep very soon. Not being the brightest penny I have made a few mistakes on my demos and rather than try and correct, I deleted, starting from scratch. (Not a problem, except I have not had much opportunity to practice replacing my limit orders)There has not been a lot of activity on the demo with my EUR/USD and USD/CHF pairs but I have seen astonishing profit for a couple of days.... 8%! My previous showed a similar return>Naturally I understand that this could easily have been an 8% loss (or worse) but nonetheless all contacts seem to be reporting regular good profits which is very encouraging.I am trying to keep a balanced view on everything because the last thing I want to do is to become blinkered seeing only £/$ signs in my eyes...I have read the naysayers opinions as well but my initial opinion is that there is little or no evidence to back up their negativity.I have been on a couple of tra

The Start
1970-01-01 00:59:59
In my attempt to escape the shark infested waters of the HYIP arena, I found FreedomRocks which immediately struck as a very interesting opportunity.I kept watching from a distance and continued to read very encouraging reports about peoples experiences since July 2006.Having said that, I was very concerned that regardless of the claims and publicity, I simply did not possess the patience or the brains to be involved in the world of Forex Trading.Balanced on the positive side I did love the idea that I could be in control of my own money and not have some scamster disappear into the great blue yonder!!Anyway for the last week I have been playing with the free trial (and have another week to go) on the basis that I have nothing to lose.I am very impressed with all the training modules, webinars, not least with my sponsor, Mark.I can't say that I fully understand what is happening with the the trades...but the FreedomRocks software makes things easy enough to follow for a complete novic

Even though my extended free trial had not completed, I decided to join FreedomRocks on a Representative basis today.I have also started my application for a trading account with InterbankFx and I reckon it's going to take a few days to be up and running with my real account. At present I am looking to get into this arena so that I can play for "free" as soon as possible. Naturally I'm only using"risk" capital but to have this cash back and play with the "banks" money has to be the way to go......However, being me, I'll see how things go for real and I might be tempted to prolong withdrawals if profits look good so that I can make the most from compounding. As mentioned before, the key thing with FreedomRocks is that I am guaranteed a scam free zone. If I am too reckless...that's my problem but nobody is going to steal my money.Great news from the demo trading platforms so far today. 1world account has recovered most of its losses from Friday close and Interbank is showing a 7% pr

Friday Night Update (slightly late)
1970-01-01 00:59:59
Things continue to move on and my account has been accepted by Interbankfx. For convenience I used my credit card to fund the account as the fee ($35) is no more than a bank wire would have cost. I have gone in with the minimum recommended amount of $2000. Hopefully I shall be able to commence for real early next week.FreedomRocks are in the process of joining the NFA and specific rules prevent the publishing of figures in relation to trading etc so I will not be able to publish my actual results.I understand that FreedomRocks is running things professionally and ethically so it is concerned that any individual could cause problems for the whole Company. It is still my intention to blog my progress and also to add anything else of interest. The markets closed on Friday with most of the gains on my demos of last week lost.I am looking forward to starting for real with Interbankfx and will update on progress soon...MikeLearn more See VideosTry for free No obligationBecome a customerBeco

Friday Night Update
1970-01-01 00:59:59
The week has ended with a slight dip after my re-entry yesterday. In summary, an interesting week for me....Started trading for real and already on my second portfolio all of which has provided more practice in using the FreedomRocks software.Regarding the re-allocation of yesterday...I intend to be a little on the aggressive side as I want to build my account up to a reasonable size as soon as possible. As I said before, I want to be in the game for "free" ie using the banks money but I am using risk capital, so I am prepared to wait to get my seed money out.During the last three or so weeks I have watched swings both up and down..and then up again. The software seems to be doing its work well, but I am fully prepared for the fact that I may not always win, as this is very early days and I guess anything could happen.Risk tolerance is a very personal thing. Right now I feel that I would much rather risk the cash in running this opportunity which enables me to keep control, as oppose

Friday Night Update
1970-01-01 00:59:59
The MT4 has gone to sleep with my account a fraction down from my re-entry point of last week. This naturally means I'm still nicely up from my starting point with nearly all my gains intact.A roller coaster ride this week as on Wednesday there was a good further gain showing but by that night it had started to ebb away.Still, more than happy with the way things look at the moment, and as this is a long term plan there will be plenty more peaks and valleys to ride through.Reading around on the net, I continue to see much comment on one theory or another and whether FreedomRocks should be doing this or that, all of which leaves me cold, as I'm not even understanding what is being written. To be honest I have no technical knowledge and no experience in the Forex Market ( and equally I'm not really that interested either)What appeals to me is that somebody can say "if you do this" "then that should happen in time"I'm not coy about this, I'm in this opportunity because currently th

Things are ticking along quite nicely at the moment. A decent gain showing but things seem to be a bit slow on the platform with no limit orders executing so far for me. Let's hope that this gain will stay/increase so I can end the week with more profit.... who knows?FreedomRocks has added recordings of the Training Webinars to the site. Friday Night Update
1970-01-01 00:59:59
The MT4 has settled down for the weekend having lost more than half of my gain for this week....but that means I still have another gain on my Portfolio 2 started on 8 February.Added to My Portfolio 1 gain means I am well smiling at the moment ;o)) A very pleasing start to my FreedomRocks venture. This week I heard a phone in where a representative asked the founder, Mark Vincellette, about someone who was on the Free Trial and had seen drawdowns made on the demo platform....the representative was concerned that because of those drawdowns this person would not stay with FreedomRocks.Mark Vincellette did not mince his words....He said that if anyone is "Spooked" by a 20% to 30% drawdown then FreedomRocks is almost certainly not for them.Equally he pointed out that nobody should join on the basis of a short term 20% to 30% gain.He further commented that we all must see FreedomRocks as a medium to long term strategyI have added this to give some balance to my short experience. Friday Night Update/First Month Summary
2007-03-02 23:56:00
Wow! The last few days have seen comments from experts like "the worst ever" "meltdown" "Black Tuesday" "billions wiped off equities" etc etcAll this has translated for me as follows....All my profit to date eliminated and at close of business tonight a small percentage of my seed money down as well, and as I sit here tonight I'm adrift on my membership fee as well. Not a great feeling I admit but am I worried.......no! First ly I am using risk money and following this I still have control of most of my remaining/current funds. This will always be my big plus point....Although it can look alarming to see my account dropping...I am content that the risk to my money is less than if it was exposed in HYIP land.So the way I see it is....hang on in there and hopefully things will bounce back as they have before.I am glad my account was small enough to only be trading two pairs, as if it was larger I would probably have USD/JPY as well...this would have meant a bigger hit for me.Having just

Friday Night Update/Thoughts On The Week
2007-03-09 22:35:00
Life is never dull, that's for sure! Well, the platform has closed, and due to a big reversal in fortune I am happy to say I am only now slightly down on my Portfolio 2. ;o))Things did get worse before they got better but this is great position to be in for the start of next week....It is definitely humbling to see my account drop as quick as it had risen on my Portfolio 1 and in a strange sort of way I'm glad this has happened as it is a serious reminder to me to never be complacent. What seems like a small amount of extra risk when going for that extra interest can suddenly turn to bite you big time.I'm glad my sponsor warned me against the Yen and GBP.A few more thoughts on the conference calls and the countless pages of writing on FR this week...I am trying very hard to keep an open mind and balanced view on FR. I want to listen to all sides of the discussions that have taken place as I really don't want to be blindly following the corporate line. One thing that was made abundan

Time Flies!
2007-03-17 00:52:00
Where did it go? (the week that is) ..I reckon I blinked and almost missed it.I'm a little down on the start of the week but quite a lot of activity on my limit orders executing has seen the "balance" column increasing, so it is good to see the FR system working according to plan. Also the interest gain is starting to show its worth as part of the system. Now all I need is the floating loss to turn into profit again. So I currently have more dollars than my 2K starting point but less than my my highest point. I also have now paid two monthly fees which has to be taken into account. The prohibition on quoting figures on the blog makes life a little harder so as always if anyone wants to request direct information please don't hesitate to email ... turbobiz@winning.comIt is also good to see that the forums have quietened down after the heated comments regarding the recent "Black Tuesday". Much Better Week
2007-03-24 22:40:00
That's more like it! This week has seen more dollars added to my balance column through sales limits executing and also more buys showing. In addition EUR/USD and USD/CHF have balanced up getting rid of the drawdown, leaving a small profit showing. So back in true profit currently having covered all fees as well. My goal is to get a return which at least equals the less outrageous HYIP possibility, whist exposing my cash to a risk I perceive to be less.So far so good on this front, but it is still very early days. I think it's called "cautiously optimistic".There has been a fair bit of talk on matters of compliance recently and not wishing to avoid any issue with FreedomRocks, it seems some action is being taken by the company to bring evaders back into the fold. I reckon this can only be good for us all in FR as misleading advertising is a major can of worms on many fronts. Not least it gives the flamers loads of ammunition but also the authorities might pick it up which could cause

Another Good Week / 2 Month Live Assessment
2007-03-31 14:14:00
All facets of the FreedomRocks system have worked well and in my favour this week ;o))The daily interest is now building nicely and limit orders have been buying low therefore adding to my open orders...great. Also the "Swissy" has been selling high making my balance column figure increase. Also the floating profit/loss column has increased well. The combined effect is that in the snapshot of time at the end of trading on Friday I am up an amount which would compare very well with a less outrageous HYIP over the same period. (2 months)The naysayers are still saying that we will all get wiped out sooner or later but personally I am comfortable with my risk at present. Obviously a blow out could happen, however risk comes with the territory as the gains I am after cannot be achieved without being exposed to risk. The way my account performed around Black Tuesday has given me more confidence in the coming weeks/months.I feel I must comment again on the comparison between FR/HYIP/Manag

Still Smilies
2007-04-06 23:23:00
After my start of Portfolio 3 the other day, the spread has been recovered and the week ends with another nice little profit showing in the floating column ;o))This is naturally the luck side of any gain, but it is good when it happens; so all in all a great couple of weeks.Mark V. the founder of FR states that nobody should close out trades like I have done and re-allocate. He insists that members should just open their accounts and let them ride in order to build the interest and to take advantage of buying low and selling high.As my account is still small, together with the fact I don't want to inject any more of my own money yet awhile, I need to build the account up as mentioned before. I guess that I have to take this risk. The sensible option would be to start withdrawing my seed money but I don't want to delay the growth in the account.Still, this is all positive stuff as things are looking very good at the moment. Please email .... turbobiz@winning.com if one to one det

Friday 13th!.......
2007-04-13 23:37:00
Turned out to be a brilliant end to a great couple of weeks for my account. I very nearly had enough in floating profit/loss to justify another re-allocation..... Not bad when Portfolio No 4 is hardly 48 hours old.Today also saw a sell limit order execute (EUR/USD) which put more dollars into my equity and also a "Swissy" buy limit to add to my open trades. This is a lovely little roll that FreedomRocks is on and it may be time to remind myself that what goes up, comes down or at least sideways at some point.Still I'm going to enjoy it whist it's happening...Will it still be smiles next week???Please email .... turbobiz@winning.com for one to one info.MikeLearn more See VideosTry for free No obligationBecome a customerBecome a representative

Late last night (GMT) after the markets started for the week there was another decent jump in my profit/loss column so I've gone to Portfolio No 5. Same coordinates as No 4.My strategy remains unchanged in that I want to build my account up as soon as possible without entering any more of my own cash....So that means compounding where possible.I am not sure where this line of a larger balance is but it is going to be nearer to 10K than I currently am. Once this has been achieved, I will probably start to draw 50% of future profits and re-allocate with the other 50%.In the meantime I am happy with my original risk capital of 2K and I am looking forward to however long it takes to reach my goal. So far with about 9/10 weeks of live trading I am very content with progress, bearing in mind that Black Tuesday was only a short time ago.As always, don't hesitate to to email... turbobiz@winning.com if specific details are required.MikeLearn more See VideosTry for free No obligationBecome a c

Steady As She Goes
2007-04-20 23:09:00
My MT4 has now closed for the week, a small margin down on my entry point for portfolio No 5.A relatively quiet week which saw one buy limit order execute (Swissy) and the usual fluctuations in the floating profit/loss column. So in summary, a definite"steady as she goes" as a little patience needed perhaps after the excellent gains of recent weeks. To me, each week is still a close monitoring process but the system continues to perform as expected ;o)Please email... turbobiz@winning.com for one to one info.MikeLearn more See VideosTry for free No obligationBecome a customerBecome a representative

Stable Week
2007-04-28 13:50:00
The good news continues...this week has been pretty similar to last except that my floating profit/loss is in the positive at the close. A small gain but nonetheless a step in the right direction. This has added to my interest making my equity push ahead ;o)Slightly off topic are the recent events in the digital currency business. The US authorities have acted, making in the short term, a very uncertain future for this method of moving money. I guess this may have a knock on effect on many HYIP's which rely on digital currency. We shall see....I am relieved that I have pulled away from that arena. I have a real opportunity with FreedomRocks to make similar high yields within an accepted framework and without the risk of scamming/thieving.If there are any new readers who are wondering why I don't quote actual figures here please understand that it is in compliance with FR and the regulatory bodies. I came home from work today and was greeted with a very pleasant surprise as my profit/loss column had risen nicely ;o))I am heading for my 3 month live anniversary so this is very encouraging. I have all fingers and toes crossed that this run of luck will continue long enough for me to compound my account balance up so I can start my strategy of 50% withdraw/50% re-invest of profits.FR continues to advise against re-allocating the way I do but I am trying to create something worthwhile out of a small start so as I say...... fingers crossed that I don't lose my profit. No changes to my MT4....still 1;400 11% and EUR/USD USD/CHFPortfolio No 6 kicks off on 1 May so not very exciting reading, but I do understand what Mark V. 3 Months Live
2007-05-05 14:55:00
The end of this week has finished with my profit/loss column down a bit from the start of Portfolio No 6 the other day. A limit order executed a buy (EUR/USD) which will help boost things in good time...so a fairly quiet week.3 months live almost to the day and I am very happy with my membership of FR. It has been a good experience as I have tried to soak up the whole spectrum of opinions from far left to far right and then judge where I sit. On the many forums there are those who only ever quote they have made large amounts of money but don't balance it by saying that it is also possible to lose money...then the opposite extreme, those who set ill advised parameters on their accounts and became margined out after Black Tuesday, blaming FR in a big way for something they and they alone did. This blog has mainly been positive towards the opportunity because to date this has been my personal experience. Everything with the operation of the system is working "as it states on the tin" an

Quietish Week
2007-05-12 00:02:00
Nothing interesting to report at the end of yet another week. My account has closed around the same place as last week so I am still a little down on the floating profit/loss. No limit orders executed either (two came close but drifted away)Yesterday, my profit/loss deficit nearly doubled but didn't stay like that for long, making its way back up to finish similar to last week as I said. The founder of FR (Mark V.) has added a "health warning" to the video section of the website. I think this is a good step as although the existing warning caveats are clearly stated, it is now not possible for members to misunderstand the risks involved in the forex market. In addition, I reckon this also adds credibility as the company has beefed up its compliance.Mike Learn more See VideosTry for free No obligationBecome a customerBecome a representative

More Of The Same
2007-05-25 16:33:00
This week has ended with a drop in my floating profit/loss leaving me roughly back to my re-allocation point on 1 May.Things continue in quiet mode with one EURO/USD limit buy order jumping into my open trades...good news when things swing the other way.So at present my month 3 of live account is proving to have no drama, ticking along nicely intact, picking up the daily interest...just doing what is expected. Two points of interest re FreedomRocks development. The founder ( Mark V.) states that company membership is nearly at the 5000 mark so it seems that many more people are wishing to experience what FR might do for them. Also within a short time another broker will be added which will be aiming at the big players...They will take up to $1m at 1:400. Not of great significance to my level, except that it shows that FreedomRocks is being taken very seriously in the market place.Looking forward to emails... turbobiz@safe-mail.net... for further one to one info.MikeLearn more See Video

Still Pretty Quiet
2007-06-01 16:04:00
Portfolio 6 started a month ago is up slightly at this weeks end, but still down from 1 may.No limit orders executed for me this week, so everything still stable and intact picking up the daily interest. There has been much recent talk in various forums about products which allegedly (not meant facetiously) help in timing entries into the market. Whilst I can see some benefit, this is quickly negated IMO as FreedomRocks is a along term opportunity. Provided members play within the recommended parameters (lowish margins and avoidance of Yen) the system will take full advantage of the swings up and down. The other point that occurs to me is that the founder of the system and the "old timers" don't do anything like this so it makes sense to go back to "when in Rome...."I have joined this system for the long haul and heading for 4 months on my live account , to date there have been no unexpected traumas ;o) On the contrary everything is working well. Please email... turbobiz@safe-mail.net
