She selected The Shellcoder’s Handbook. Pretty neat by anyones standards. Looking through the contributers names I spotted Dave Aitel. Hrmm. I flipped to the acknowledgments page where I spotted Dave talking about the discussions on that took place on #convers. No talk of GARDEN or anything else, but it was neat tapping the past.

? Yes. Alright, how do you install it with Ubuntu
Linux? Well, to tell you the truth this is where it differs from Microsoft Windows. The first step was to plug the printer in and then connect with a usb cable to the computer. My second step was to click add a new printer. It never once asked me to insert the manufacturer CD in order to continue the install process. I was robbed I tell you - ROBBED! This install was too darn easy. Not a bit fun.

A few years later we were labeled bloggers (thanks Pyra =). We were thought of as radicals. Now, in the Federal Court, we make history as two seats of the 100 set aside for journalist will be given to two professional bloggers.

Dubbed “drive-by pharming” by Symantec Corp. and university researchers who first publicized the danger in a paper, the attack involves luring users to malicious sites where a device’s default password is used to redirect them to bogus sites. Once they are at those sites, their identities could be stolen or malware could be force-fed to their computers.

/ Youtube split doesn’t touch on trust issue between the customer and the distributor. Sure, people will surge to visit one of the Viacom properties such as Comedy Central, but after the novelty wears off will they stick around? Basking from the Digg effect traffic doesn’t equate to success. Sure the numbers look good initially, but there is still the trust and comfort issue.
People are use to visiting G.B.S. (Google Broadcasting Service - logo needed). When folks tire of the flashy ads or non Flash 9 driven video formats guess where they’ll be heading. That’s right - back to Youtube or Google Video.
Plus just as Yahoo has for so ignored the crowd not on the Windows platform lost valuable buzz so will MTV / Comedy Central.
Here’s the deal Viacom. We, the end users, are in control now.
