Ward please visit the wordsarepictures.co.uk. I'm sure you'll enjoy that.
dysplasii.com - Emmanuel Prissette 'DYSPL' 2008-02-12 15:27:00 Two works that you can see above presented on dysplasii.com really amazed me- that's why I decided to present them here. Let's say that it's also a kind of promotion for Emmanuel
- he is looking for a job as a designer, maybe you need someone with this profile? The overall look of portfolio of Emmanuel Prissette doesn't appeal to me- the website is built on ancient html frames and it all looks not that attractive, probably it was done very quickly only for the purpose of presenting the works somewhere. Anyway, it's worth looking at some of his works.
Jérémie Werner - evasion.cc 2008-02-12 14:43:23 Jeremie Werner, a French designer located in Strasbourg has caught my attention by some of his designs. The ones presented are the most attractive ones (in my opinion of course). Visit his portfolio , that's all from me about Jeremie Read more:evasion

Mikis Raoul mikisraoul.com 2008-02-04 16:28:22 It's the second time I am writing about Mikis Raoul
. Last time I have made a mistake and put Alex Trochut's works instead of Mikis'. I wouldn't even realize that if Mikis didn't tell me that himself. Now it's time for you Michael and a couple of your works. In the previous post I just edited text and put Alex Trochute's name. Enjoy the works of Mikis on his portfolio mikisraoul.com

jot.eriknatzke.com - Erik Natzke 2007-12-15 04:22:26 Erik Natzke keeps amazing me while I browsed through his collection of works in his portfolio. Every work aims to attract and suprise the viewer- his playing with shapes, colours, combinations of different patterns in every single piece of his work are just incredibly good. The techniques Erik Natzke is using are also quite original. He is playing with the photos using Flash with Actionscript generating the deformations and patterns. You could see how transformed the original scene is in the two pictures below: (1) is the image Erik Natzke was playing with and (2) is the final result.(1)(2)
Lisa Rienermann - lisarienermann.com 2007-12-07 15:57:06 Lisa Rienermann - www.lisarienermann.comWhat a superb idea Lisa Rienermann had.. she made the new typo out of the images of sky and buildings. It looks surprisingly well, at the same time quite funny. In her portfolio you can actually see the whole alphabet made out of the pictures with building-and-sky motive. Inspiring, isn´t it?

Edvart Scott's abstract visual world 2007-12-03 20:50:29 edvardscott.comWhat I find really astonishing about this artist is the combination of extremely powerful abstract colourful world with the style that is recognizable after first look on the work. "This is Edvard Scott
", after you see his works you can actually feel it seeing something new made by him.Amazing imagination of this talented illustrator / designer has been appreciated by many major companies including Nokia, L' Oreal, Mini Cooper, K-SWISS.
Maciek Blaźniak's illustrations 2007-11-28 15:16:16 maciekblazniak.commaciekblazniak.blogspot.comJust by chance I read that Maciek lives in my home city Lodz. I didn't know that we have so many talented artists in our city, it's the second guy who appears in this blog and that's just the beginning, haha! Maciek Blazniak specializes in children illustration. I never realized I could so impatiently look through the kids-like pictures. The selection is quite impressing- there are so many nice works to admire.
Si Scott 2007-11-28 10:46:15 siscottstudio.comBritish artist Si Scott
combines beautiful classical illustration with typography. He has got many creative ideas as for the working with swirling, ornamental lines overlapped with other images. His imagination seems endless as every work is an original and individual masterpiece. Among all the companies that Si Scott was working for the most significant are Casio, Nike, Orange, Samsung, BBC.
Maciej Mizer mosk.pl 2007-11-26 04:00:02 mosk.plMaciej Mizer is a 2D and 3D graphic designer from Poland living in my home city, city of Lodz. The works he is doing are so vivid and colourful which stands in big contrast with overall quite grey and sad look of the city he lives in. Probably the passion of colours has something to do with another passion of Maciej, graffiti. On his website you can also see some examples of his graffiti arts.Anyway, I have spent much time admiring some of his works and I really cannot exactly say what techniques and methods were used to achieve such astonishing effects. Keep up good work, Maciej!
Christopher Cox - changethethought.com 2008-04-02 10:56:17 Changethethought.com has been founded by Christopher
Cox as the place for his own art works. Now apart from working as Christopher's portfolio it has transformed into a kind of a community with other editors involved. What is more interesting for me are the Christopher's works. The ones presented above is just a small fraction of the art works that can be found on his changethethought.com. The style of them seems to be very brave and original- there is a lot of experimenting with colours, shapes and combining many concepts. The artworks are divided into many categories: print, illustration, web, type and personal works. Many of these categories are filled with works of the best quality. I find the whole portfolio very inspiring, it's a shame that I couldn't put more of the images here. Chec
crisvector.com - Cristiano Siqueira 2008-04-02 10:13:55 crisvector.comI found Cristiano Siqueira by chance. I was looking into using the 3D models into standard 2D illustrations and images. Then I just stumbled upon the image that you can see at the top. I was amazed and that is why I had to save Cristiano's portfolio in my bookmarks. Today I looked at it again and decided that his works are worth showing in my blog. Many of works of Mr Siqueira are very comic-like- it seems very true and justified since this is how it all started for him. Cristiano (born in Sao Paulo, Brazil) started by redrawing comic books. Then he sunk deep into the world of design and illustration. He gained experience in professional work and he is working independently in his own studio.Undoubtedly Cristiano Siqueira has developed his own style, visible especially in the
shinybinary.com - Nik Ainley 2008-04-16 16:50:08 Nik Ainley - ShinyBinary.comNicholas Ainley is a UK-based designer specialising in caring-for-details illustrations and graphics. Nik Ainley's portfolio (shinybinary.com) is full of the really nice works. There is plenty more than what is presented above. Some are quite scary, for example the image presenting melted elderly woman's face.. Brrr, it's too horrifying and real to be put on my blog. ;)Overall, the works are enjoyable. However, the website itself looks quite old fashioned and there is a big need for making it more pleasant for the viewers- I think Nik could get even more interest from people then if it looked more fancy. The other thing is that his portfolio looks to be quite popular- Nicholas is boasting of hundreds of thousands visitors. Congratulations, Mr Ainley and I look f
