Don't get me wrong I love working with children...but let me go volunteer to do it and come and go as I please. I have to get myself ready, my son ready, get him to school, get myself to work and all of this before 8 am. I am not used to that. Then I have to entertain 26 ten year olds for up to one hour at a time in a six hour day. After I am finished with that I have to run over to the high school and bark at 70+ teenagers who want to be the next Carl Lewis or better. It is exhausting. I really feel for those people

I was asked by one of my student athletes from the track team to coach HS track because they could not find anyone. I applied and got the job. In submitting my application I then was on the radar to teach. A 4th grade teacher left and they wanted to replace her. I interviewed for the job and got it. Now I will be working from 7:45 to 3:00 then track practice from 3:30 to 5:30, not to mention the all day Saturday track meets. Someone mentioned the saying "If you want something done give it to a busy person?". Well now I am really busy therefore I better get it done. I will be working as a teacher until June.
