IronKey - The Most Secure USB Drive Ever ? 2008-03-08 13:06:46 The Ironkey USB drive from Thinkgeek was built to exceed US military security standards. Holding up to 4GB of data, the thumb drive is designed to self-destruct incase of a hacking attempt.
The innards of the drive are filled with epoxy, negating any chances of data recovery with physical tampering of the device. The drive has 256-bit AES encryption, which is once again encrypted with a 128 bit AES hardware encryption.
The drive also has a Tor-enabled copy of Firefox, allowing for some truly anonymous browsing. Or so, the makers claim. I am not completely sold on to this gizmo, for the simple fact that the device has been commissioned by the US Military. In all probability, the device could have a back door built in.

is a cool 2D interactive game, and winner of the Seumas McNally Grand Prize at the 2008 Independent Games Festival.
Built on a Box2D Physics Engine, the game requires you to draw simple geometric shapes to solve its puzzles. The objects thus drawn, follow the basic laws of physics and shape the course of the game.
The game is a sequel to the original Crayon Physics game, which is available as a free download at the creator’s site.
Though the original game is, according to the game maker, "a quick and ugly prototype," I really had a ton of fun playing it.

I found these intensely morbid/interesting pictures of famous people’s death masks. The mask of Baseball hall of famer Ted Williams, scared the crap out of my girlfriend.
For those of you who don’t know already, a death mask is a wax or plaster cast made of deceased individual’s face.

Hulk is finally here. Edward Norton (one of my favorite actors) plays the Hulk (one of my favorite superheroes) in this ‘rebooted’ movie version of the much misunderstood, Marvel Comics giant.
There has been a lot of speculation about the upcoming movie, much of it about the lack of any large scale publicity for a $150 million movie. After watching the trailer, I wasn’t very impressed by the look of the Hulk. Admittedly, it’s not the mistake of the movie makers, as re-creating a believable, green-skinned Goliath on screen is not a very easy task. is also known as the movie which has Robert Downey Jr. playing a black dude, who it turns out to be, is a white man after all.
And if you are wondering, what a class act like Downey Jr. is doing in this movie, you are not alone. The last scene in the movie trailer, did leave me chuckling though.
Tropic Thunder also stars Ben Stiller and Jack Black, and hits movie screens in August, 2008.

I found this superb, life-size replica of the iconic monster from the Alien
movie franchise for sale on the Monster Galaxy site.
The replica towers over us puny humans at 7 feet and 7 inches. The body and tail are made of resin and hard polyurethane foam. The whole thing is mounted on a wooden base.
I would love to have one in my drawing room (making sure to lock my bedroom door at night), but it’s just too pricey for people like us. At $5,200 plus shipping, only the rich and devoted sci-fi fanboys can afford it.
