The unavailing of the new kit is on Friday the 11th but I feel this is nothing to get to excited about if the shirt is anything to go by, but hey it could be worse we could have lumbered with Andrex as a sponsor (not that we played like s**t last season )

Shorey gone
2008-08-08 14:50:00
At last the moaning left back has gone. And good riddance. He's been sulking at the back for so long he should have gone to West Ham a long time ago but it was Aston Villa that bought him in the end, although Im glad to see him go Im not glad that Coppell is putting Hunt in Left back as thats such a stupid move as that is a brilliant play maker who works and commands the wing well.

Shorey could be on way Villa
2008-07-29 14:53:00
Well a lot of people where beginning to think that no one wanted him and it would have seemed that way but Villa have come forward with a £4.5m bid for Nicky Shorey and Reading will say yes.The club want to make some money and also get ris of a player that lost his enthusiasm along time ago , good bye Shorey.

Reading are so tight they wouldnt give a door a bang
2008-08-23 16:52:00
Reading have called off a £2.5m move for Southampton defender Andrew Surman because they cannot strike a deal to sell James Harper to Middlesbrough. (The Sun)just the latest in really shrewd moves by the arsehole who run the club and are hell bent on destroying it, that's right Nicky Hammond director of F all. Absolute idiots. They made millions and now they make a big deal about a couple of mill

Charlton 4-2 Reading
2008-08-23 16:36:00
Late goals by Luke Varney and Hameur Bouazza helped Charlton sink Reading in a dramatic game of three penalties. It was going well into the second halve and even looked like the Royals would take a win but the same old style of crap play crept in and the back 4 just fell to peices. We are in trouble if we are using Sonko as a goal scorer. What the hell is Doyle and Hunt (Noel) for, Coppell made a

Reading 2 - Plymouth 0
2008-08-16 16:23:00
Sonko is Superman, Sonko is Superman. Ibrahima Sonko's first goals in more than 18 months gave Reading victory over Plymouth as Championship football returned to the Madejski Stadium for the first time since April 2006.The Royals look on fire and played very well and I can say that there wasnt any slagging off going on a good atmosphere and the fans where well pleased to see their side doing well.

Nottingham Forrest 0 - 0 Reading 10th Aug 2008
2008-08-10 09:58:00
Readings first game back in the Championship with James Harper taking the skippers arm band (although he chose to wear in on his leg) as the ever injury prone Murty is out again. Forrest came at the Royals with full force from the beginning but Reading got the play under control and it became a very even played game. Kebe had a terrific chance in the 1st half but none better than the second halve

Ipswich 2-0 Reading
2008-09-13 16:11:00
Debutant Jonathan Stead inspired Ipswich to victory over Reading . Ipswich almost took the lead when Pablo Counago headed against the underside of the bar and he hit the bar again after the break with a hooked shot. But Stead, on loan from Sheffield United, broke the deadlock with a stunning 20-yard shot on 63 minutes. A Jonathan Walters header from Alan Quinn's cross made it 2-0 before Moritz Volz

Transfer window closed
2008-09-03 16:02:00
well the window went and no one else left thank god. But on the other hand we didnt really sign many players and made alot of money . With the Parachute payment and the sold player somewhere around £32m and didnt even spend a million of that. That right we're so tight we wouldnt give a door a bang.

Doyle could be on his way
2008-09-01 03:23:00
Reading striker Kevin Doyle, 24, could be on his way to Aston Villa for £7.5m. (Daily Mail)Today is the last day of the transfer window and it looks like Doyle will be gone by this afternoon or this evening, and you cant blame him. Tight arse John Madjeski cant get over the wages that players get , well I cant get over the fact that Reading have made over £30m since they got relegated and not

Small signings to pay lip service to fans
2008-08-27 15:42:00
JM is under fire left right and centre to give Coppell some more money to spend but he was quoted and saying that "there are 3 thing wrong with football player wages, players wages and players wages"This is to be expected coming from a tight arse. Although that said I do agree players are payed to much and in some cases astronomical amounts and they still play like a donkey. But this is something

2008-09-27 05:28:00
Once again the Premier League is beckoning Stephen Hunt away from Reading. Everton and Sunderland look the 2 to battle it out to sign the Irish man in January. I really hope he doesn't go as we will go back up and he'll be back in Premier league football then.
