GSEE (main trade union) march cancelled (Athens, 1/5/2008) 2008-05-03 04:44:00 Workers base collectives realised an anti-gathering and microphonics intervention opposite to the area of the GSEE gathering for the first of May, on the occasion of the GSEE agreements with the lobby of greek industrialists (SEB), the selling out of the workers resistance to the pension system reform, and the cooperation of GSEE with the state and employment, while several objects (bottles, coffees, etc) were thrown against the GSEE's platform, threatening its organizers to pack their stuff and eventually cancel the programmed march of the trade union for the first of May, given also the few people that they gathered.Some photos of the anti-gathering of more than 200 workers: videos:
